Black Label Burgers is located on Old Country Rd in Westbury, NY. There are plenty of parking spots. We walked in and ordered at the counter. Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. As a long time cheeseburger afficionado, I was eager to try the elevated beefy goods at Black Label Burgers. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, always a good sign. I liked the local (Long Island) themed decor, friendly service, spacious parking lot, wide variety of self-serve beverages (tangy lemonade - yay!) and nicely padded booths. Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I would like to preface that I know I ordered the wrong thing. I know I should have gotten a beef burger (duh) but I was in the mood for a grilled chicken sandwich (orange label burger). The quality of ingredients was great, the bun nicely toasted, the veggies fresh and a generous piece of chicken but it was soo dry and bland. It had a good grilled taste but otherwise there was no amount of sauce that I felt like could help. Pretty good as usual. The turkey burger (grey label) was okay. I liked the addition of avocado. But the patty felt a bit rubbery and I wish there was more char on the burger. A nice local joint when you're in the mood for a burger. Fries are great, especially the sweet potato. It's nice to have their marshmallow dipping sauce. Burgers are made well but I'd probably pass on the lettuce wrap next time. They gave me one big romaine lettuce to hold a turkey burger with toppings. I came some time last year (2025) just looking for where I could get a good burger and I think I found the spot either on Yelp or Google, idk. So I went by after a long day at work. We went right before the lunch rush on a Saturday, so we had our pick of seats. By the time we left, though, there were only about 4 or 5 booths left. Food-wise, we got the Black Label, Red Label, and Cheese Fries. We asked for the burgers to be cooked medium, and they nailed it -- nice semi-pink middle. Everything was good so far, but there seemed to be a lack of seasoning on the burger. Ground beef sometimes isn't the tastiest thing on its own. After a few bites, I had to go up and grab some salt and pepper to season the meat, and it tasted much better. I also found it a bit odd that there was a charge for pickles in the burgers, since that's typically a standard topping. I often visit BLB when I'm in the area. The ambiance seems more of a ranch , country and western style. (IMO) The burgers are really delicious. Theses are gourmet burgers so we can't compare them to any dart food chains. However if you want a healthier choice for burger, you should cone here. Tired of the constant pushing of the latest smash burgers from social media and local restaurants, I was looking for a spot that could deliver a quality, good old-fashioned, classic burger. Black Label Burger did not disappoint. The restaurant is a gorgeous modern take on a tavern/pub-style burger joint, with big bright windows letting in a ton of natural light along with the warm, pulsing bulbs overhead. I thought it was a cute little touch putting up signs denoting the directions toward Montauk and Manhattan. And the booth I sat at had some of the heartiest cushions I've ever felt at a restaurant. The eponymous Black Label Burger was hearty and delicious, seasoned just right to allow the funk of the dry-age flavor to shine right alongside their burger sauce. The fries were a solid addition, salted perfectly and with a crunch that showed they practically jumped right out of the fryer and onto my plate. Finally, the root beer float was served with a generous helping of vanilla ice cream- when stirred together with the cane sugar-sweetened spices of the root beer, it's a welcome reprieve and perfect palate cleanser from the burger. All staff working were friendly and attentive. There was no stress to order anything immediately, and I was offered assistance with anything I needed. While I did wait a bit for my order, it's too be understood that this is no cheap fast food place, hauling out slop every second. It felt like Black Label cared about every aspect of my order, and that care and attention takes time. I would gladly wait for another one of these burgers, especially when the prices are going toe-to-toe with, if not outright cheaper, than fast casual burger joints like Five Guys and Shake Shack! I ordered the red label burger with the aged beef, i have been to this location before and the burgers are great however im not sure if the aged beef is worth the uncharge.It dosent taste all that diffrenet from the regular beef served. I also ordered the Fried oreos and it was great, they served it cut in half which allows it to cool faster, it was nice and crispy I hate when the Oreo in the middle is soggy but these were great! And ask questions. The only way to speak to a human is in person or wait for them to call you back (left a message Friday and still haven't heard back).
