I get it is supposed to be a step up from traditional fast food burger places, but it's not worth it. Especially for rhe onion rings. It was $5.50 for an order, we got 6 rings. Shake Shack is one of those staple comfort spots, and we loved our experience last night! I like snagging a cozy booth whenever possible, and once I secured one in the corner, we happily delved into the Shack goodies. I ordered the SmokeShack Burger with apple-wood smoked bacon, American cheese, cherry peppers, and their famous Shack Sauce, and my boyfriend got the *limited edition* Black Truffle Burger -- both hit the spot, and I know Shake Shack uses high caliber Angus Beef, which is a plus. It was the sides, though, that REALLY took the meal to the next level. Maybe I was just craving comforting faves like fries and chicken nuggets...as one does LOLOL...but I must compliment Shake Shack's quality since the nature of the fry was perfect! The crinkle cut cheese fries were delicious -- hot, crispy, and soothing (I like to use 'soothing' quite a bit as a positive food adjective, hehe), and the white meat chicken bites had a delicate, crispy batter that definitely did not disappoint. (Honestly, those chicken bites definitely had me wishing I ordered more, hehe.) Ok it's a really good shake shack location. If you don't know SS then think yummy smashburgers and dogs, crinkle fries, and thick shakes. Classic goodness with vegetarian and gluten free options. The bun was amazing for gluten free- like in I had a mild anxiety attack at first bite to double check it. Super clean and friendly. Easy parking. But seriously not fast food pricing. Went there for a quick lunch after shopping on 4th of July. It was our first time in that location and was pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness. It was also not too crowded which was great. We ordered from the kiosk, took our number and the food came quickly. As a caloric splurge, we order the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio shake. The Shake Shack is located in a very busy shopping plaza. The parking is very difficult around this area. Especially during busy times, this location gets really crowded. There are a couple seats that are located in the front, but these are great to sit out because there's a lot of people waiting around for their food. I would recommend to get the seats in the back. The food here is the same quality as other location. Overall, the burgers are very greasy and the price is pretty high. We paid $42 for two double burgers, one fries and a drink, and a shake. The service was just OK, they have some people bringing out food to you, but otherwise, they didn't do much else. We had to clean the table after the group prior to us left it dirty and the servers didn't address it. I hope they at least change what they can and improve the service. read more

Food: great, sure Delivery: really awful. They didn't deliver all the items, had to get a credit, reorder. The soda came with ice even though selected without. Some other orders were slightly wrong. They said they "packed everything correctly." And of course, even for a group order, they can't label with names or item descriptions to separate out 9-12 burgers (since 12 were ordered and 9 were delivered, those 9 were really hard to differentiate.) This is one of my favorite Shake Shack locations. I came here with my sister over the weekend. We ordered a burger, hotdog, cheese fries and chicken bites. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The service was quick and the workers were nice and efficient. The restaurant was packed for a Saturday afternoon but it wasn't noisy. We enjoyed our food and we will be back again soon. read more

I haven't been here for quite some time and had a taste for burger. The place has maintained a clean look. It's very easy to see the food being prepared. The only thing I see that bothers me is that people are constantly talking and carrying on. I have a thing when that happens, spit can get into your food. I'm not saying to not have a good time at work. I'm all for that but when it is time to make patrons food, then that should be taken care of first. There were a few people that were serious in preparing the food to get out. They have a system there now where 2 people are passing out the orders whether they are ordered in the store and purchase through delivery apps that makes it easier to get your food order without mistakes. read more

Is this one of those disappearing Yelp reviews?! When this Shake Shack first opened, my kids & I went wild! Over the years, Shake Shack used to have special menu items. Let's take a trip down memory lane: Corn Dogs during the summer holidays, Hot Chocolate when it was cold as well as seasonal shakes (I just had pumpkin last week) Here are some of my favorite items: Shack-cago Dog: It doesn't say "Hamburger" Shake Shack on the sign! The Shack makes a damn good version of a Chicago Hot Dog. I always look forward to having a ShackMeister Ale and a Shack-cago Dog. Chick'n Shack / Nashville Hot Chicken: Me personally, I like the Shake Shack version over Chick-fil-A, hands down. SmokeShack: Cheeseburger topped with Niman Ranch applewood smoked bacon, ShackSauce and chopped cherry peppers. Heaven. It seems that my first and favorite Long Island Shake Shack in Garden City we visit less over the years. Once the Smithaven Mall location opened, we all stopped coming to this location. Also, with the app there are no longer killer lines. (Remember the A & B lines??) Shake Shack made everything more efficient. This was an on the road stop as such I'm not often at Shake Shake. I will say I liked this site most especially observing the team hard at work. The teamwork was impressive; the preparers collaborated with the food distribution team on the other side of the counter. I wondered how they knew who's food was whose as they delivered it to those who ate in and were so patient & responsive when people asked the status of their orders. And it looked like everything came out as ordered (including my no whip pumpkin shake the primarily vegan confesses.) And in the little bit of time I was there I saw the staff constantly cleaning the counters & tables with anti-bac wipes. When the register line got long, another opened with a smile. Location wise there is seemingly every store in this area ; this Shake Shack is walking distance from a Whole Foods & Trader Joe's and the outdoor mall area it's in provides a great opportunity to walk around outside & work off the fat from whatever snacks one's indulged; also as it's a busy area, it a good opportunity to park once and walk for the rest of your area errands. Use the cross walks though! This Shake Shack also had a nice outdoor large covered inviting porch area. Final comment they are not checking vaxx stat. It was stuffy inside (ie warm) so I do suggest if you're taking out, just wear a mask as the line & wait area does fill up with bodies as special orders are well accommodated. It's clean. That's always a major plus for me! I really don't have a lot to say about this place. It's a burger joint and I took it to go. I had the Shack Stack. I don't normally eat beef they don't have a turkey or a veggie patty so I caved and it was delish. I like the fries. My son had a Shack Stack which he devoured so I guess it must have been good. My husband had a Shack Stack and a Truffle Burger which he also enjoyed. He didn't like the truffle fries. They put the fries in the box and then sprinkle a little seasoning on top, (I mean very little) so all the fries underneath are plain so it's like "what am I paying for?" Please shake the fries either in a bowl or in the box and then serve them. If you do it in a bowl you can get rid of excess seasoning if you're worried it'll be too much for customers. Customer service seems to be friendly enough. The guy at the counter was cool and I had a fun conversation with the girl handing out the deliveries and takeout. read more

This shake shack is like any other one. It's convenient to get to since there's a large parking lot. The service, even with COVID, was great. The line moved fast even though there was only one cashier. They also have lots of people ordering on their app with someone monitoring all the take out orders. They are also currently cashless as well, so only accepting credit/debit cards. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside, tables are marked off for where customers can and cannot sit to ensure a proper distance between the tables. Even though it's on the pricier end for a chain burger spot, their burgers are one of my favorites! All of their burgers are great, from the classic to the huge one with both a meat patty and the mushroom stuffed with cheese. The meat is juicy and the veggies are fresh. The potato bun catches all the juices in the end with its closed pocket, making the last bite a perfect end. Their shakes are always a great pair - creamy yet a bit chunky. Their fries are also always crispy. Despite its prices, it's great for fulfilling a burger craving. read more

Prob a 3.5 since it can be a hit or a miss depending on what you order, but corporate customer service is pretty responsive when the occasional issues arise (like their sad limited time gochujang line a few months back). Usually order via their app for pickup when they have promos, but when we've ordered in person the line moves pretty quickly. Our Shake Shack go-to's had always been the Shack Stack (the giant burger w the breaded mushroom layer), which is really good - especially the oozy cheese, but it's been feeling a bit too heavy for me (is that a sign of aging lol), so we usually get the Chicken Shack + some simpler burgers. Once in a while get a concrete but those are always too sweet for me. The first time I had the chicken shack here it was really good, good flavor, not dry, but it was a bit salty another time I ordered,. The one I had the other day was pretty good seasoning wise, but there was something horseradish-y tasting (was it the herb Mayo) that was a bit off putting. Never knew you could add tomatoes without an upcharge - liked the sandwich more that way. We got a few shack burgers the other day also since they had their BOGO promo (which ends today, 1/2) - I was really impressed - besides looking the part (ad ready - vibrant fresh lettuce and tomatoes, fresh well-cooked patty, perfectly smooth buns), they were delicious and not greasy. The single patty was good enough for me, didn't seem worth it to spend an extra ~$2ish on a second patty (though the promo didn't work on the double patty anyway). It's probably a safer bet to stick to the classics at Shake Shack. We tried the gochujang chicken stack, the gochujang chicken bites, and the black sugar vanilla shake when they had that limited time menu a few months ago. Was overall so disappointing. Gochujang sauce is a Korean sauce that is supposed to be super flavorful, a bit sweet and just mildly spicy but it was just overwhelmingly inedibly salty on the chicken stack and bites, a complete miss. The black sugar shake (which I guess is supposed to go in the direction of the brown sugar bubble tea craze) was insanelyyy sweet and it was really annoying that the entire cup was sticky from spillage that no one bothered to wipe off. I'm not a fan of truffle but a friend tried their limited edition truffle burger a month or so ago and was super disappointed also - no truffle flavor. Will return the next time they have another promo and likely get my classics again - chicken stack and shack burger :). read more

This is the only shake shack I ever go to. So I can't really compare to others in the chain. But, we come here about once a month because we frequent the shopping mall it's attached to. And we always get a couple large ales to go with our burgers. That in and of itself is a good reason to come here. But, of course their burgers are also awesome. They've recently added a cover to their outdoor portion. So, there will be more seating in inclement weather. Awesome!
