For my purposes she was 5 stars...but most people would like to see a larger variety of yarns. The fabrics are beautiful, and even tho they advertise that the prices would be from $5 a yard on up, we found some beautiful sparkly sheer and elegant fabric for $2 a yard, enough for the drapery project we had in mind. The outlet is open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 1pm, although they can close for extended periods of time for vacations, etc. The regular prices are still very much discounted from what you would pay at a showroom. The website doesn't mention when they have the super sales and open up not only the outlet but their warehouse-so I guess you have to call them to figure it all out....we happened to see a mention in the Chronicle. Worth some sleuthing and definitely worth a detour if you have an upholstery, drapery, pillow, duvet or whatever project.

It's the name of a gorgeous silk fabric that comes in colors like Wild Honey and Tropical Nectar. which do sound like Bond girl names... but as usual I undress, I mean digress. fabrics make me all sensually stirred and oogly inside. especially fine silks. And I spent ALL DAY today at the annual Rodolph Spring Sale fingering fabrics and trying not to pass out when I realized that in-the mansion type fabrics that usually go for 120 a yard and up were on sale for anywhere from 5 to 15 dollars a yard. sumptuous silk and linen. synthetics that mock your mocking them with their depth and color. ranges of colors and patterns that will trip that little neuro-GOTTAHAVEIT lever and spin your brain like a steering wheel in an ice spin. Just when you think you might have to pull over, you realize there's people to help you drive the fabric highway: There's a lovely lady there named Judy who knows upholstery through and through, another woman, Charlotte who has expertise in draperies - yes yes your windows will wear Ikea, but they will hate you for it and C'MON! Don't the eyes of your home's soul deserve Charlotte's way around texture and color? yes. they do. I got help from Charlotte and Judy, but the woman who literally went the extra yard for me was the owner Cynthia. She found fabric samples, talked texture, figured out pattern repeats and fullness formulas, whipped out her calculator AND performed high math in the service of my swingin swags and drop-dead gorgeous draperies looking just right. She made sure that I had enough yardage with as little waste as possible. When I needed help taking the fabric out to the parking lot- my back no longer hoists anything heavier than champagne- Cynthia, without any fanfare, grabbed the bolts of fabric and brought them out to our car. Talk about a hands-on owner. so now my home is wondering if it's going to look like a stuffy grown-up lives here. Well, I'm definitely keeping the singing mermaids on the walls, the clanging squeeze-handle pirate sword and the heart-shaped giant bubble wands. The thing is most of their fabrics, even though high-end all have such a splash of fantasia in the design that they''l fit right in. I brought a lot of clothes to them, only about 30% of them sold and I think it's because they price too high. My clothes sell much better at Opera House Collective.

There's a lot to see, so I definitely took my time walking through trying to decide if I wanted to splurge on some of the garden items such as wrought iron handles and bird perches. All in all, I would definitely recommend stopping in if you're gift shopping in Point Reyes, if not just to admire the gorgeous water feature and jewelry.

Letsy and Mario were fantastic! We had a conversation on the phone. They came out the next day, took my cushions and re-stuffed them quickly and delivered them as promised, in less than a week, better than new, with new foam, down, wraps and so much more. They cleaned the covers and already checked in to see if they are comfortable, and if I am happy with the results. Couch is comfy and looks brand new again!
