I'm not sure if there's been an ownership change since some of the original reviews or what, but our experiences have been stellar. What's more, while this place is mostly an English riding shop, but they've been super accommodating and helpful as we acquired gear for Western riding. For example, when we came in looking for helmets, they dropped what they were doing and multiple staffers helped us figure out exactly the right size and test fit the helmets in the store to make sure we made the right purchase. They also gave us tips on which ones were the best value, rather than steering us towards the most expensive. On subsequent visit, we were shopping for paddock style riding boots and they sat us both down and had separate staffers fetch several brands in our respective sizes, letting us try and find which ones suited us best (and also half sizes up/down to get the perfect fit). When I started putting some of the shoes back in the boxes, one of the owners even told me, "You're doing the hard part, let us take care of that," and boxed the shoes back up so I could focus on trying on the other pairs and save time. Talk about fantastic customer service. They went out of their way to make sure we got the perfect fit and exactly what we needed. This shop is well stocked, has a fantastic layout, super friendly and helpful staff and there is never any pressure or up-selling. You can take your time, be left alone or get as much help as you need and always with a smile. We have never been ignored or treated poorly in any way and these days that is particularly rare. This place absolutely deserves your business and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't check them out.

He helped me sort zero in on the right grill, side burner, under cabinets, etc., offering tips as we went for me to like what I saw or keep moving. Bottom line is that he then discounted everything. No way could I ever get that service online nor would I expect to duplicate that price, free shipping on the exact day (a few weeks out in the future) when I wanted it. But here's the icing on the cake: one of the Blaze stainless steel cabinets arrived with door/drawer handles missing. This was the one in a million sealed box that somehow missed parts at the factory. I called BBQ Island/Tony to explain. I assured them that the box was still in my possession and had been searched many times, and they sent via Fed Ex replacement parts - no charge for parts or shipping - to me. Wow. I found the edible plants for a vegetable garden to be much more extensive than Moon Valley Nurseries. So I guess it depends on what you're after exactly. I like that they sell a wider variety of fig plants, and was interested in one of them, but the two plants available didn't look the healthiest. I'm not sure I want to take the gamble on a fig tree that may or may not make it. The healthiest looking plants they had were their citrus trees, again plenty of variety. Still checking out nearby places before making any decisions.
