When I walked into Tractor Supply, I was greeted by the peeping of chicks. I like seeing these little birds, both yellow and black ones. I saw a very large bag of dried mealworms, which I thought my lizard would like. However, I did not want such a big bag. DO NOT USE ANY VIP PETCARE/PETVET Located within Tractor Supply; very disorganized, slow and conflicting information. This page says company temporary closed only because they were bought (KKR Private Equity, 2018) PetVet still same services with both logos on documents when you go to clinic within TS. My puppy had her rabies first year; and was current on all vaccines. Needed rabies for 3 years to renew her license and because I didn't bring her medical records the vet would only do a one year certificate. I was told at checkout to just call their 800 on Monday and the team would correct when I give them her certificate from last year. According to the vet on site; it is company policy that if the owner does not provide proof at visit they will not sign a 3 year certificate. I am not getting her rabies again next year just because of paperwork they never told me to bring. I pre-registered and nothing said her documents were required or I would have brought them. So, after being at TS for 90 minutes for vaccines, I then had to get on the phone the next day with a wait of 45 minutes.... Only to be told that the certificate has to be emailed to them at helpdesk@vippetcare.com Never Again and TS is also responsible for allowing them in their stores because I only went trusting TS. I don't own animals or live on a farm but my first visit to this store was fun. I not only got an initial greeting but employees frequently asked if they could help me find anything. (I was actually looking for my adult daughter who was avoiding me!). I ended up with some neat Christmas ornaments, a cute birdfeeder to give for Christmas, some low-sugar jerky, and some chicken wrapping paper. My show horse after eating was down, shay Bing, sweating, disoriented -great pain. No time to call for help, I look into his feed box and found flaked blister beetle. The next day once I felt I could take time from walking him, holding this 1200 Quarab near death I call and told them what I found, where do they keep it, etc Kay I've asst mgr went on to explain to me the process of how they get hay. This is normally a good store. Today, there was a shortage of carts, the flat gray carts that carry multiple bags of animal food. Normally, I wouldn't say anything but today there were very few customers and I only saw one customer with a gray cart. The parking lot was more empty than normal and the carts weren't anywhere to be found. Our standard order is at least a dozen large bags of animal feed- hundreds of dollars a weeks and thousands a month. When we asked where the carts were, they pointed to the smaller regular red carts. Normally, since we spend so much money, we are recognized and there are carts, today we are recognized but dismissed us until we persisted and someone brought a different, sub-par kind of cart normally kept in the back for employee use. We were treated as though we had just been done a favor and the missing carts were a non-issue for the staff that didn't seem concerned- about the carts or our ability to carry A LOT of supplies, worth a lot of money. It seems they are not concerned with the basic needs of the customer, like supplying carts for repeat customers that spend more than most on a regular, normal visit. read more

I ordered a horse stall mat for my home gym (to put my treadmill on). I ordered it online and and did curbside pick up. I had no idea what I was in for. The guy that brought it out was extremely helpful and polite. He even loaded it into my car without doing any damage inside. Apparently the mat is stiff and didn't really fit in the back of my suv. But he made it work. This is the second time if been to this store and they associates have been helpful, polite and even funny. I will come back again and again if I need anything from here. Every single time I go here I receive a greeting and someone always ask me how my day is going! This place is like stepping back in time where companies cared about their customers and people were happy to work. Where they genuinely care and want to talk to you, help you with anything you need and if you don't need help- well be prepared to just enjoy a laugh or two. I always get my dog food from here and was in a couple weeks ago looking for a gas can for my generator. I was in the back of the store when a woman comes up to me and asks how I'm doing and we started talking. About 5 min later I remembered about the gas can and her response was epic- I was standing underneath a section of them. Haha. We laughed and joked around for another couple minutes, it was truly refreshing to see and to feel like I can come in and be a real person. Thank you to the entire staff and management team. I come here for my pet (dog) food as the prices are always better than PetCo. They always have great customer service and they have everything you need for animal related supplies. I find this place to have a country restaurant vibe to it as it's very welcoming and the workers are friendly. They will help you load your items into your car. They also sell scented candle making items so this place actually smells great inside. read more

I LOVE THIS TRACTOR SUPPLY! I get bird seed etc from this location once a week. The staff at this location are ALWAYS OUTSTANDING! The store itself is always so organized and clean. Well stocked and comes with the world's best customer service!! Yesterday I picked up several bags of birdseed! I was greeted by EMILY!! I am wearing a neck brace bc I just had surgery and can't lift the birdseed. I didn't ask for help but Emily recognized my dilemma! I didn't even get past her at the register and she offered to help me!! In fact I never had to go back to the birdseed. We ordered it right up front and she called JOHN to bring out 4 huge bags!! John was equally fabulous!! It was 108* and he didn't mind going all the way to the end of the parking lot and loading it for me!! It was effortless for me and I really needed that!! My first time at this place since I've always been curious but never been in one. First impression when I stepped in is wow, what a barn. The smell of farm was strong. This store has variety of everything. I would describe it as Home Depot meets petco. Lol. The cashier lady last night 10/7/22 while picking up dog food was so RUDE..My daughter asked if someone could help her lift the heavy bag into her car since She is pregnant and the cashier RUDELY said "clearly you need the help since you put it in the cart by yourself in here" so She said "I dragged it, didn't lift it but thanks for your concern" and she laughed rolled her eyes and called someone up. Went in a few days ago because Transfer pump took a crap (less than a year old). Took in Power Plus paperwork and receipt to switch out. Was told they NO longer switch them out directly and to contact asurion.com/TSC as on the power plus paperwork. Ok, another new rule but I will do that. Contacted power plus and they told me to contact the manufacturer PACER because the original manufacture warranty is 1 year and when it expires then contact the power plus, also my power plus is 1 year. Drove 30 miles, after they told me they had a flange bearing. They did not, it took me 15 minutes to find somebody that even worked there. And it wasn't like it was super busy . The manager seemed a bit put off, that I even asked. and then he said the girls up front wouldn't even know what a flange bearing was. After I described it on the initial phone call she happily said yes we have those. but the gray haired manager seemed to be a bit of a douche. He also didn't seem to know what a flange bearing was. The lovely lady Bianca was very helpful. I was trying to decide which chicken coop I wanted. She was very informative and gave me lots of information on the different chicken coops the sizes how many chickens they can hold and so on. She was extremely knowledgeable which helped me make my decision. I even signed up for the TS credit card. I ended up with the Defender coop! I am excited for my purchase and can't wait to get it. This location is our local store that we visit often and where we have gotten satisfactory service in the past. Today my elderly husband and I visited with the sole purpose of having our small propane tank filled. Yes, today was the day that caused both of us to be rather annoyed and unsatisfied with the customer service we received. Anyone who has been in this store knows how loud their intercom is. My husband standing outside in 104 degree temps heard the calls himself. After no response to TWO calls over the intercom, I went inside and asked for a manager. The cashier promptly called the manager over the intercom......no response. I walked to the back of the store and asked a couple of employees if they had a manager in the store. They quickly got her attention. Her response was that she was training someone else and that there was another manager on the floor (who was NOWHERE to be found). After I reminded her that my husband has been standing outside for quite a while she summoned someone to come out to the outside gate to assist us. When the guy came to the gate, we asked him if he heard the TWO calls over the intercom for assistance. His response was NO. After paying for our goods my husband had a little chat with her (the manager).....this is her response. "I am sorry that this happened.....what would you like me to do.....give you a gift certificate"? We could not believe her lack of empathy and customer support. What she should have done instead was apologize and tell us that she would make it right by offering us a "gift certificate" and telling us that she would fix the problem immediately. She should also have called the cashier immediately after she heard that she was needed upfront to let her know that she would be right up if the other floor manager had not responded. Instead I had to go and find her myself. This has left us wondering whether we should be taking our business elsewhere in the future...... read more

I called on Friday to make sure they had the chicken food that I wanted to purchase (10-40 lb. bags). I was told there was a lot so I drove the hour to get there only to find out that there was none on the sales floor. I asked and they found a pallet, but I was told they would NOT sell me any because it was buried and they refused to unload the pallet! I asked for a manager, some woman came out and started telling me that there was chicken food when I called, but I was too late and they will not unload 1 bag from the pallet. I asked if she was a manager and she said no. The assistant manager came out and he said the chicken feed is buried, I asked if they could price match to another brand and the woman who came out before started screaming that he can't do that! She was super rude and screaming at me, so I asked her not once, but twice to please leave as I did not want to speak with her. Finally a woman came out that said she was a manager, but she also refused to unload any chicken food............. here's the kick in the teeth... I could count over 5 employees & 3 "managers" not doing a thing, yet they could not sell me 10 bags of chicken food! I called the 800 number and was told the reginal manager would call me the next day, he did not! I am not sure why there are so many rave reviews about this company! They are horrible and I am shocked they are in business with such horrible customer service. read more

So what started out as a promising place for us to give business to ended up being just like every other corporate disappointment. Our dogs eat a special food...which lead me to calling around our area to see who could come close to the price we were paying elsewhere but too far since we had moved. When I called the store I explained what I was looking for and was told..."not a worry! We price match! Just show us what you paid and we'll match it!" Great!! So for months and months we would go in and buy other things and enjoyed the staff. Then new hires said no we can't use that or do that..(I had a screenshot of what we paid so I could bring it up easily every time). I would explain yes you do this is who and what etc and we would pay and leave the store. We became friendly with the Asst Mgr and the Store Mgr as well and they had previously authorized us to pay how we have been paying. Well not anymore! On January 8th the Asst Mgr says no we can't do that and should never allowed that. Points to the wall behind me and says that's the policy and procedure which I've never been shown before?!?! Which by the way is contradicting to their policy they state online. I expressed we won't be back and will take our business elsewhere if that's how they're going to be AFTER they've already set precedence. I also called their district manager Dusty Pate to discuss because when I called another location they stated a completely different policy and would have been happy to serve us?! He NEVER returned my call. WHAT GIVES Cave Creek?!?! Talking out of both sides is not good for business. If you can get your act together we might be back...but I don't know SO disappointed in them....we thought they were one of the good ones Apparently not. read more

I worked at this dump for almost two years. It is unbelievable what goes on behind the scenes and how badly employees are treated. Before my old manager left, it was much better. He really tried and was the best manager i've ever had. He cared about the customers and the employees, and we just had to deal with how incompetent corporate and HR was. Then, Chris left and now, there's Linsey Walsh. I left because I can't work with her. She is terrible. She lies, she stole from me, she mistreats customers and is horrible to employees.
