Great place to stay, full hook up. Super quiet. About 20 minutes from oatman, very good prices.

She was so friendly giving information on how to get to the trail as well as to answer any other questions we had. The rangers office had bathrooms to use as well as a fountain to fill up with water . They had picnic tables to the side of the office were you could eat your lunch and also gave a great map for you to find your way around and guide you safely . Definitely need a few days to see everything and I can say it is just beautiful.

We have a large family and because of the shutdown were unable to get together for Easter dinner…read morethis year because of this my daughter and her family decided to rent a cabin in the hualapai's for her son's second Easter. Because her husband is an essential worker they were unable to get there until late I'm the evening and because they had not paid in full, first thing in the morning went to the office and paid the remaining balance. They spent the day hiking and enjoying the beauty of the mountain and in the afternoon went in the local store to buy some firewood when the rude employees told them they had to leave because they didn't pay for their cabin, after they showed proof of payment their were no apologies made. Later that evening, after dinner they started a fire in the pit and after a while the baby got tired so they went in the cabin to lay the baby down. Not five minutes had gone by when they got a knock on the door and it was the park ranger by the name of what appears to be E. Mejir not sure though sloppy writing. He told them that they weren't supposed to leave the fire unattended (something they were not told before) and that they had 30 minutes to leave the park, they obeyed woke the baby up and packed the car and was followed by the ranger all the way down the mountain with him on their bumper and his brights on drove the over an hour drive home late Saturday before Easter. When she called the next morning to complain he (Mejir) took the phone from the woman she was speaking to and said that he went back to the campsite after they left and found drugs. This accusation was so outrageous she was shocked, my daughter is due with her second baby in June and just wanted a nice Easter which was ruined. Yesterday my daughter received a ticket in the mail for possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment! All because of a badge heavy ranger that supposedly "found" drugs outside of a cabin that we were in less than a day. This may be a beautiful place but the staff and ranger make sure that it's where fun goes to die.
