The only variable I didn't define if the font. I assumed the tattoo artist would know best what would work. For some reason, they wanted me to provide artwork. I get it, you do a lot of work and everybody wants something different, but I just wanted a name and date, since the size was specified, the only thing left to debate was the type style. For some reason, they couldn't or wouldn't quote me, I was told that there was a good chance it would be the shop minimum, but they couldn't confirm and with it being 110 degrees, I didn't want to be shuffling up and down the strip when any competent shop should have been able to quote me in advance. That did in fact happen here, and when the people at Illuminati were clear and told me they would present me with font choice that didn't elevate their quote, I ended up using them. I have no idea how much money flows through Vegas, but when people come here, they come to spend. Pardon me if I like to know in advance what I'm spending. So unless Yelp has changed their policy that a review is a unique experience, I trust that this detailed account of Revolt satisfies the terms and conditions I agreed to. Moderation is great, but without integrity, the review system breaks down.

Disarm customers. People have stigmas about tattoo. For some it could be the price, for others it could be the pain and for some it could be the quality. If I had a car and parking wasn't an issue, I might have popped in on all the shops I considered, but again, knowing that what I wanted was a 1 on a scale of 1-10 in terms or effort or expertise, I just wanted to know I was going to get what I needed without being ripped-off or dismissed. The shop that I ended up using understood what I wanted, was able to confirm pricing ahead of time and ASSURED ME, IF I CAME IN, I'D BE TAKEN GOOD CARE OF. That didn't happen in my exchange with your staff. *********************************************************** Yelp claims to be a place of integrity, but at times the review system is abused. Reviews are intended to capture an experience. You don't have to spend money or even be a customer to have an experience with a business and that is exactly what I reviewed for Black Spade. I reached out to them about having work done while I was on vacation. Rather than call them rude or abrasive, which they were, I'll just say they were dismissive. Based on that interaction, I continued to request quotes from other vendors before being treated with respect by Illuminati Tattoos. So, unless Yelp has changed their policy and reviews now require a documented exchange of money. That is my first-hand recount of contacting Black Spade. Some times you got to call a spade a spade.

Brian did mine, and I absolutely love how it turned out. Alex took care of my friend's tattoo and did amazing work. Abi did my wife's piece, and it came out beautifully. All three artists were professional, friendly, and seriously talented. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We'll definitely be back for more ink.

We found ourselves here the night before our flight, as I'm not one to trust a super cheap shop. Tony was amazing. I wanted to fit into the theme of north arrows but I didn't want to be literal as I already have a compass tattoo. I'm from Oregon and wanted a stalk of lavender and a bee. Tony understood the assignment and made it so artsy I can't stop looking at it. I'm not sure if I asked for an arrow, as I was exhausted from being out as sober support for my other surveyors after hours, but there is a shape of one with the bee and flower. I traced the lines on a photo because I am that professional and so my qa/qc . I truly love it! The whole appointment was a wonderful experience and now we both have a bee tattoo. I never get spontaneous tattoos and I'm so glad this worked out so well. I doubt I'll do it again unless I find Tony! I'll likely find him/travel if I get another larger tattoo in the future. Also, I want to note he was very respectful and aware I was a child of trauma with issues and a fidget toy. He not only watched for any buddy language, but also empathize with me in his families life experiences. Easiest tattoo experience I have had and it erased a "bad" experience relating to another tattoo artist, though their work was also very good.

I had a tattoo with caleb cashew. He is AMAZING! 5 star service and quality. I went to him with a simple design and he crafted something beyond what I could have imagined. I am a single mom raising 2 boys so tattoo shops are not somewhere I frequent but the shop is inviting, super clean, and so professionally set up. I felt instantly calm. I felt at home. All the artist there are so friendly and sweet. I could have hung out there for hours. He listened to my story. He heard my struggle and really took his time designing something that he knew was so important to me. The price for this kind of work is soooo affordable and worth every penny and if I had more I would hands down pay more. I felt so lucky! The amount of attention to detail that he has insane. This kind of quality work is so hard to find. The lines are so clean and crisp. The color pops and I can tell he takes so much pride in what he does. After being burned so many times at other places I am so grateful and blessed to have found this diamond in the rough. Anyone can slap a stencil on skin Caleb can design and tell your story. On the last day of our trip to Vegas my friend and I decided we wanted a tattoo. We called around to a couple of places and finally decided to go with Black Omen. Soooo glad we did! It was THE BEST tattoo experience I've had in a while!! Nick did my tattoo. Hand drew the outline with sharpie traced over it and went to work!! Conversation was dope, music was super chill, atmosphere was relaxed and his line work was impeccable!! Nothing about my time in that chair was uncomfortable. Not once did I flinch due to a little pain or the needle going too far. It was definitely a relaxing experience and I enjoyed every second!! It's been about 3 months and the tattoo looks like it was done yesterday. 10 out of 10 would totally recommend!! I was in town for a Funereal and a visit with friends and family when we thought about getting a tattoo to remember our longtime friend who passed away. I was told that Scooter at Black Omen was a great artist and light handed. We went to the shop which is clean and the artist all super friendly. We talked about what we wanted and he scratched it out. It was perfect. Captured the conversation and the color as well. He started mixing his color pallet and we got a bit. Came back and began. I have had tattoos and he was quick and the line work was symmetric. Color is bold and vibrant the way I like it. No bleeding and great knowledge of healing techniques. A few weeks ago (I know I'm late to post this ugh!!) my best friend and I were struggling to find a tattoo shop with low prices without compromising on quality, and Black Omen delivered! Scooter stayed late for us and it was the best experience. He has such a light touch, and though I'm a total baby, my ankle tattoo didn't hurt nearly as much as it probably could have. Nick!! want to high top quality tattoo? Look no further, this artist is a great one. I've had two tattoos through him each time he is gone beyond my expectations. Don't let his Luscious Hair fool you he has some hardcore talent and drive. The first one I got from him was simple, but large, I saw him color match perfectly ( and he let me talk the whole time ) the second one he drew himself. I came in Sunday with a picture of what I wanted and Emma printed the stencil up and it was beautiful! It was my first tattoo and she was very easy to work with and explained everything for every question I had. The tattoo turned just as beautiful as the picture, I'm so happy about it. This was my 2nd time getting a tattoo. My Best friend and I did it for my birthday and we were nervous about good quality but most importantly friendliness and a welcoming environment. Love this shop! Decided to get hand tattoos with my dude on a whim and they took us right in on a Friday night. I found a pretty simple example of what I wanted and the artist Caleb just tricked it out. It's a single rose with the stem on my hand. I was thinking super simple because of how small I wanted it but he added some shading and little details that just made it so much more realistic and whimsical. I had two tattoos done by Nic, after the first one I knew I would be coming back! I love tattoos and I had to find a new tattoo artist here is Las Vegas. Very nice and comfortable environment to get a tattoo. Caleb did one for me a few years ago and I recently got another one from Nic yesterday and it came out perfect. I showed references of what I wanted and he was able to bring it to life and worked with me financially, my sister and I were able to walk in and have one drawn up on the spot and was done very quickly. I've received 72.5 hours of tattoo work to finish a full leg sleeve with the owner of the shop (Caleb). It's a full Vietnam comic book style sleeve with so much attention to detail. If anyone looking for Scooter, he now works at Diversity Tattoo close to circus circus. The 1 star rating was cause my tattoo artist doesn't work there anymore. This was my first tattoo and I expected the best quality work and professionalism performed by any artist at this shop, since this shop is owned and operated by Cleen a top notch rated artist in the area. Plus they have very good word of mouth. Unfortunately, this was not the case for me. I left completely distraught and permanently scarred and traumatized for the rest of my life! Artist James Keller aka: @LVJamesTattoos needs to chose another profession!! This is not your calling in life sir. If you still believe you're a good artist, how about we take a vote and you post the pictures of the work you did on your social media pages!! This artist that I overpaid for a crappy tattoo deserves to be fired and never ever tattoo anyone else! He didn't even do what I asked, the final tattoo is not even close to the sketch he drew for me. He literally did things on my body that should be illegal to do to someone, especially when they're getting paid it's the clients first time getting a tattoo! To top it off, the artist yelled and got all up in my face like he was going to hit me, all while I was crying trying to figure out what happened and what went wrong! The artist also threatened me to call the cops, claiming he needs the money has bills and kids to feed!!! He claimed the shop gets 75% of the profit and that's why he was charging me so much money. I just couldn't wrap my head around the whole situation. James literally bounced out of the shop and left me alone the moment I said go ahead call the cops, let's see what happens! I believe he was operating equipment and working under the influence because he flipped out cruising at me and claiming it's my fault because I kept moving!! I was like, how is this my fault? I never moved, I never asked for shading, I should've of left and ran out the door the moment he treated me like scum. What I should've of done is waited for the cops to be called and let them settle the whole situation. Instead, I paid up and left. As for the shop, thank you to the artists that were there and consoled me while I cried profusely for 4hours+. Thank you to Cleen for responding to my texts and promising me to get this tattoo fixed. I have a redo scheduled with a different artist, I hope it gets fixed as promised. I'll leave a review again once I see how it turns out. Hopefully it's a 5-star for the next artist! For those of you wondering, this horrific experience (tattoo) cost me $320 and didn't last more than an hour! Which is not common practice around tatted world. I expected this artwork to last anywhere from 3-4hours! Picture #1: This is the sketch of how I expected my tattoo to look like. I asked the artist (James) to remove the umbrella (to me looks like a mushroom), clean up the waves make them look more like waves with hooks, clean up the pine trees, get rid of the lines coming out of the black circle, clean up the clouds on the beach side to make it look less like pine trees, and to add a small Aries constellation to the beach side.... he didn't do or listen to anything I had to say!!! You can see by looking at the next picture. Picture #2: finished look while in the shop. Picture #3: Healed tattoo, looking a lot worse than when I got it! For the record, I have taken care of it daily. I have washed and followed all the instructions given to me by the shop. Picture #4-5: is the artist James End result: It looks horrible, disgusting, I want to puke. Not what I imagined, paid for, or even had drawn up for me!!! It's not even a circle! ‍‍‍ Missed the mark completely on this one.

I could get another tattoo for that amount! So I'm at the gym (frustrated wanting my dam piercings) I decided to call this GEM for a quote! And man am I glad I did. First of all the woman who answered the phone sweet as hell, sounded like she gave a dam and wanted to help me! Throughout my life I've had my ears pierced probably 25x growing up. None of them stayed open (never at a tattoo shop tho, either at typical earring places or I bought a gun myself xD). I explained to her my concerns and she was very helpful. A bit after my workout I went straight there and the vibe was chill! I was quoted $200 for my 4 piercings here and it's totally worth it! Santiago did my piercings and he took his time, thank the lord. Because I need these to last. He ensured the station was clean and ready for use after helping a previous client. He kept apologizing for the wait but I really appreciated the cleanliness of him and the shop in general! Conversations with everyone was very meaningful! Not like "hey get your shit and get out" place. Santiago had rec instructions on how to keep them clean and sanitized because I need these to last me lmao everyone was amazing! DO NOT choose Joseph Barrios as your artist. The Shop seems awesome, as well as the other artists…read more But unfortunately - this is the only way I can warn customers of Joseph. He is terrible! If you ask him a question about the tattoo AT ALL - he will cancel it day of! We went in for a consult and discussed the tattoo. We put down our deposit. He told us that if we had questions or wanted changes the day of the tattoo we could do that. He put the stencil on and we told him we LOVED it - my husband asked a total of 2 questions about the shape and positioning he was planning for a couple areas. During the 2 question he asked, Joseph's only response was "you should let the artist be an artist" in a very rude tone. He then proceeded to cancel the entire tattoo saying we were "micromanging". I have MANY tattoos and have worked with many artists who gladly went over the tattoo and the design choice before starting with no issue. Joseph is not your artist if you like to collaborate, have an elaborate design, or even have a question about any aspect of the piece. Maybe Joseph has forgotten that this tattoo is going to be on his customer FOREVER. It was embarrassing and rude to just make us leave after showing nothing but respect to him and the shop. If he cant deal with a couple questions from a customer - he's in the wrong business. Hopefully this saves someone the headache of dealing with this unprofessional tattoo diva

I visited Americana Tattoo Co. around 11:00 AM on Thursday. The door was open, but no one was at…read morethe front. Two young women eventually assisted me, and I showed them a reference image for the tattoo I wanted. They explained that the owner, who is also a tattoo artist, was working with a client. I gave them my phone so they could show the owner the image, and he provided a quote through them. When I asked basic follow up questions about the artwork, neither employee could answer them. The owner then stated that Americana Tattoo Co. was not technically open. As the owner, he should take responsibility instead of using that as an excuse. The door was open, I was allowed inside, and there was no clear communication indicating that the shop was closed. If Americana Tattoo Co. does not want customers entering before its official opening time, the door should remain locked and the hours should be clearly displayed. Anyone placed at the front should also understand the services, pricing, and basic artistic process or know how to connect customers with someone who does. This is an ownership and staff training issue that Americana Tattoo Co. can correct. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and creates a more professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming experience for future clients.
