Amethyst was fabulous. Had 3 size options available before appointment. Takes her time with placement. Able to make adjustments on the fly to make the tattoo even better. The studio is cute and clean. Vibe was very relaxing and it really was not painful.
I've been looking for someone who was an amazing fine line artist to do my lotus flower tattoo, and Amethyst was everything I was looking for and more. Absolutely professional throughout the process, quick to respond to my query for my tattoo, and ideas for the image, Lunar Ink was exactly what I expect from a great tattoo studio. Amethyst walked me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable with the size, and detailing of the tattoo. Any additions were discussed and she always had me look the tattoo over to ensure I was happy with the work. The studio was awesome, clean, and the vibes were so calming. It's literally my favorite studio I've been to (and I have three tattoos by different artists already) Was this place a hit? 10/10 yes! Worth EVERY PENNY. So much so, that I plan on getting another tattoo with them.
Everything was the best with Amethyst and John. When I first sent in my request form Amethyst was on top of it. Helpful and kind, she took my idea and she and John made what I wanted exactly what I was looking for. We are so pleased and when we visit again we will be lining up more ink time. They insist on the clients well being and it was a very chill atmosphere.
Highlights: Great communication, clean studio, love my tattoo! Ambience: Lunar, crystal, witchy vibes. Comfortable and calm. Experience: I got my matching tattoos with my cousin and coordinated with Amethyst in advance to book time with her and her husband John. She also customized our initial design idea which I loved! I was so nervous as this was my first tattoo, but she made me feel so comfortable! She kept me informed throughout and also let me choose a Squishmallow to hold onto for emotional support. Such a cute and thoughtful touch! She and John had a light hand and it was such a pleasant experience for us all! The aftercare kit was also great to take with us! It had soap, ointment, a crystal, sticker, and instructional card in tarot format. Loved it! I will definitely return here for more dainty, fine line tattoos to add after this amazing experience! They also touch up their tattoos for free!

Update 08/21/2026 We're Back!!! It didn't take my wife and I long to start planning our next tattoos once we healed up from our first tattoos. We had another amazing experience here at Lunar Ink. This time though, it was more relaxing. The ice had already been broken from our first visit so this time it felt like we were visiting friends while still holding up the same professionalism and care you deserve. Getting this tattoo meant a lot to me, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one we had with Amethyst this past weekend in Las Vegas. Inspired by the Welcome to Holland poem, my friend and I got matching tulip tattoos--something deeply personal, but also full of beauty and meaning. From the very beginning, Amethyst was everything you hope for in a tattoo artist and more. She was incredibly responsive, warm, professional, and knowledgeable. There's a calm, poised energy about her that instantly puts you at ease--especially if you're someone who finds the whole tattoo process a little intimidating (which, let's be real, a lot of us do). She walked us through every step with clarity and care, making sure we felt comfortable and confident the entire time. Her shop was clean, stylish, and had such a cool, welcoming vibe. And the aftercare kit she gave us? So thoughtful and well put together--it really showed how much she cares about her clients beyond just the appointment. Getting a tattoo is a permanent decision, and finding someone you trust with that is not easy. But Amethyst is absolutely worth that trust. The dynamic duo of Amethyst and John are incredible. From beginning to end, they made the entire process easy, fun, and professional. Amethyst was extremely attentive, responsive, and friendly during the consult period. The ambience of her shop is a vibe: celestial calmness with a variety of things to catch your eye. Amethyst and John were able to complete these beautiful pieces in memory of our beloved dad. They captured the abstractness of what we each wanted to commemorate our dad and executed it to perfection. Amethyst was thorough and informative during the tattooing process and going over post care-we even got a beautifully packaged aftercare kit! Will definitely be back for future pieces! Amethyst was a dream to work with. As a woman visiting from out of town, I really appreciated her multi-step safety process (for both our sakes). And her fine line work was immaculate. She also took great pains to discuss my tattoo before we started - what I wanted, where I wanted it, how large, little nuances to make it perfect, etc. I had debated getting this tattoo for a while and am so glad I waited until I found her. It was my best friend's first tattoo, and they thoroughly walked us through what to expect, explained each step of the tattoo process in detail, and made sure we felt completely comfortable the entire time. Amethyst went over everything from placement and design to what the sensation would feel like, and she gave us clear, detailed aftercare instructions so we knew exactly how to take care of our tattoos afterward. Amethyst is amazing! I had gotten a tattoo done with my two siblings a the whole experience great! She communicates well leading up to the appointment. Their shop is so cute I love their esthetic. Got us in same day and took such good care of us. It was my daughter's first tattoo and they were so wonderful helping her understand the process, talk her through what was going on and aftercare as well. The whole vibe was calm and beautiful and one of my favorite places I've visited. Definitely a must in Vegas read more

Amethyst went above and beyond - she took the time to edit and refine the design until it was exactly what I wanted. She also had 4 different sizes ready to allow me to choose. I really appreciated the patience, detail to attention, and genuine care that went into the whole process. Amethyst and John made our first tattoo experience so amazing! The studio is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood a couple miles from the Las Vegas strip. The studio was very clean and had a great vibe! Amethyst and John were very clean and detail-oriented. The tattoos turned out amazing and we were so happy with the results!
