Came for a $20 tattoo left with a $20 tattoo. The quality was great and the service was top tier. Can't believe I came to Vegas and got a tattoo. This was on our itinerary and no part of me thought we would actually go through with it but cest la vie. We are definitely locked in at this point. The vibe definitely could have been better in the shop maybe some music something to let the customers vibe and get pumped to maybe relax. A group of us decided that it would be a great idea to cap off a successful conference and trip to Las Vegas with $10 tattoos. Initially, I thought a friend was joking when mentioning wanting a $10 tattoo before we left town, and put it out of my mind. Once it had been brought up again, I looked it up and found it to be true. We looked through the options and decided we'd go through with it as a group (9)! Walking in, it was very busy, but seeing as everyone was there to get a $10 tattoo the process was pretty seamless and short. Upon arrival, you sign a waiver, choose your tattoo, show identification, and wait your turn. It didn't go as long as I assumed it would with the amount of people in the waiting area. I couldn't imagine having to cover the front area and people coming in so frequently with the way that the reception staff handled it. I could tell that they're used to people coming in who don't necessarily follow the rules well or even know what they're looking for. I was annoyed for them, but they remained calm and were truly professional. The artist that did my tattoo was pretty dope. We had a brief chat about dresses and other things. Do not, under any circumstances get a tattoo from here. The artist did a terrible job on the tattoo. I got it drunk, so placement is on me (it's crooked and honestly it's on the artist too as it's literally their JOB), but they use very large needles which threw me off once it was done because the stencil catfished me. Then he did a terrible job on one of the sparkles specifically, just overall a terrible experience. I now am afraid to retouch it with another artist and am probably going to have tattoo removal. Unfortunately, the tattoo artist at this shop gave me the wrong color tattoo. I was asked what color I wanted, and I trusted that the professionals would follow my request. Sadly, that did not happen, and I received a tattoo in a color I never asked for. I am extremely unhappy with this mistake and want to warn others that ERRORS can happen here. My artist mentioned he had been working all day, and overworking artists is never a good idea. Now I'm left with a lifetime consequence since tattoo removal is very expensive and requires multiple sessions. The two white hags (one blonde, the other black hair) in the front had the craziest attitude and when I tried to ask for help they ignored me multiple times to continue their own conversation. They have a tendency to act stupid once you say anything about it, but mind you there was so many people in the waiting room frustrated aswell, if these people are able to keep their jobs it makes me question the quality of the work itself. Tattoo was cool piercing not so much... got my left eyebrow done and the piercer didn't even let me see where he was marking before piercing me and he ended up piercing me so far to the left that it doesn't even look like I got an eyebrow piercing but more of a forehead/temple piercing? The piercer had a terrible attitude, dismissed my concerns, and ended up placing my second lobe piercing way too close to my first one. And her nose is HUGE lol also eyebrow is cut in half. He spent 5 minutes doing it. I don't live in Vegas so I never reached out to get it fixed. Saw this place all over my tiktok & somehow convinced my brother, his gf, my husband & my aunt to get a flash tattoo with me. We got here on a Wednesday afternoon & there was about 2 large parties ahead of it. After signing our papers and picking what we waited, I'd say we waited about 5-10 mins before the first person in our group got tatted (which was me lol) I forgot the name of our artist but he was so funny and chill. I was nervous because I haven't gotten a tattoo in over 4 years and I've never done a flash tattoo before either. What can I say? It's a Las Vegas rite of passage / tourist trap offering $10+ tattoos. What could go wrong? Is it clean? Yes. Do the artists follow proper sanitary protocol? Also yes. Are they the friendliest during the process? Nawwww... but it's $10! To get the $10+ experience: Pick from the pre-drawn flash sheet at check in, pay, and then you wait your turn. The pre-drawn flash starts at $10 and they also offer $20 flash, $80 flash, and custom work as well. Designs must be placed from wrist to shoulder or ankle to knee only - and there are absolutely no modifications allowed to the designs. Depending on the Koolsville Tattoo location you visit and the time of day, you could expect a wait. We were second in line and our group was in and out in less than an hour. Bada bing, bada boom. Aftercare? Umm they send you with a bag containing some swag and lotion. We did get 'wrapped' with saran wrap at the end, but don't expect saniderm or any of the bells & whistles. We opted to hit the CVS for some antibacterial soap and just made sure to keep it clean while healing. Overall: Clean place, fun keepsake, and you get what you pay for. read more

I'm super bummed I forgot the actual artist's name but equally chill, professional, fun and easy to talk too. They have a blindfolded tattoo where your artist draws up a tattoo blindfolded, there's a wheel you can spin for a random design all at different price points. It's a very fun shop. I do not recommend this place. First, the front-of-house staff member was unhelpful and careless. She practically ignores potential clients when they walk through the door. My friends and I came here for matching nose piercings, and the staff member gave us waivers to sign without reviewing any of the information on the form. I think that's odd, considering a piercing or tattoo is an intimate experience. Customers should feel comfortable and confident that they'll be receiving a good service. Another reason for the 1-star review is that I was not asked which jewelry piece I wanted for my piercing.
