Unfortunately, the communication throughout the repair process did not match that strong start. Based on the estimate and timeline provided, I expected my vehicle to remain there through the weekend. Instead, I received a last-minute call late on a Friday telling me my car was ready for pickup before closing. Because I work in downtown Nashville, this meant trying to leave work early and sit in heavy Friday traffic just to make it in time. Since they are closed on weekends, missing that window would have meant waiting until Monday. Complicating matters further, my insurance provider, Progressive, would not continue covering the rental car beyond that point, so I would have had to pay out of pocket due to the timing and lack of notice. After picking up my vehicle, I discovered that the device on the front driver's side used to operate the window had been broken. What followed was a frustrating series of phone calls. A manager initially told me the replacement part had been ordered, but when I followed up, I was told he no longer worked there and no part had actually been ordered. After several more calls, the part was finally ordered, and I had to return to the shop for them to replace it. While the repair work itself may have been acceptable, the overall experience was impacted by poor communication, lack of follow-through, and the additional time and stress required to resolve an issue that occurred while the vehicle was in their care. I had an accident back in 2023 and they supposedly fixed it and returned it although it did have to…read morego back for a adjustments which never were quite right. 2024 the car was hit in the same place and we took it to a different repair shop who knew what they were doing. They discovered a lot of improper repairs done under the skin where the customer couldn't see it that Ford of Murfreesboro had covered up. It had to stay in the new shop for an additional week to have the improper repairs fixed properly and then their work to finished. Do not trust for Ford of Murfreesboro you don't know what's below the surface. The general manager of Ford of Murfreesboro got involved and discussed with the other shop what had happened but he refused to make it right with me. I paid them a $500 copay for work done improperly that I had to rent an additional car for while their work was corrected.
