If the salesman would have taken the time to acknowledge me i would have been happy to share the contents of my 3 music room systems. I did end up picking out an album and i had to look for someone to ring it up. The comment from the salesman was "thats it" as if this was an inconvenience for him. Adam helped me build my first true hi-fi system with turntable, amp, speakers and subwoofer on a relatively modest budget. I worked in electronic retail sales on commission in the late 90's and early 2000's with extensive customer service training so I do not say this lightly. I was originally planning to buy just a turntable from Soundscape and buy everything else online but Adam let me bring some speakers I could only find online to their beautiful showroom and compare them side-by-side with some Sonus Faber Lumina's. I ended up returning the ones I got online in favor of the much better looking and better sounding Sonus Fabers. It didn't hurt that Adam gave me a great deal on the like new demo/floor models and a demo amplifier that paired with them perfectly. Moreover, Adam helped me set up my turntable, lent me an expensive microphone for subwoofer room correction (which made a big difference), and gave me lots of technical support and education for getting everything set up properly. Throughout this whole experience I never felt rushed or persuaded to spend beyond my original very modest budget. I also got better deals than I could find anywhere else. Well, as most of my hopes and dreams of the 1990s, that plan needed a bit of a revision. After many years of use, including the enthusiastic tweeter poking of my young sons, the speakers needed to be repaired. I found Speaker Repair & Reconing Center of Colorado on Yelp - and based on the reviews, I had high expectations. Even so, Brandon surpassed the high bar that had already been set. He tested each speaker individually, (tweeters and mid ranges..), and when he identified speakers that needed to be replaced, he ensured he procured them from the same manufacturers of the original speakers. Beyond the speakers, he even conditioned the internal electronics, Before I left the shop with my newly refreshed and rebuilt speakers, Brandon let me listen to each one, and made sure all the frequencies were crisp and clear and powerful. The price was beyond reasonable for the work that he did - I could really tell he was doing it for the love of the craft more than financial gain.
