My wife's Harley needed to be serviced and my Suzuki Boulevard Trike needed the back brakes checked. We called John up and he told my wife to bring her bike over and leave it with him and he would do the service. We rode our bikes over and he set up the scheduled service on my wife's bike, we started talking about my Trikes back brake problem and he said "Let me take a quick look at your brake problem & see what it needs." He quickly found that that it was a problem with the master cylinder. He immediately took the master cylinder apart, cleaned it, put it back together and bled the brakes. It was a bigger problem than I thought but he was able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly, very efficiently and at a great price!!!!!! I have had my Trike repaired at a dealerships a few times, been overcharged without satisfaction and after dealing with John at K&M, I will never take my Trike to anyone else! Was having carburetor problems with my bike. Called Jonathon and he told me to go ahead and come drop it off. He also was very upfront and told me on the phone AND when I dropped the bike off that he was working approx. 2 weeks behind, so there would be no surprises. Exactly two weeks after dropping bike off he called and said it was ready. Unfortunately, I was having trouble getting there to pick the bike up, so Jonathon offered to deliver it to my house! When he delivered bike, we went over everything in detail..... he cleaned carbs, re-jetted them, put them on the Dyno and adjusted the valves...... BIKE RUNS AWESOME! This is far and away the best mechanic I've been to, motorcycle, car, or otherwise. I've had quite a bit of work done on my Roadstar there (carbs, exhaust, cables/levers, clutch, bearings, etc...) and it's all been done quickly, done well, and very fairly priced. I moved just outside of San Antonio, but K&M is worth making the trip to make sure my baby is in good hands. I recommend the shop to absolutely anyone and everyone out there riding.
