Mr. Guzman inspected my Guitar and advised me that the Guitar was in good condition but the "Bridge" had a slight separation and would have to be repaired soon. He called over a Colleague who confirmed the assessment. Both showed me exactly where the bridge separation was located! Mr. Guzman gave me a recommendation of a business that could repair the Guitar! Instead of a full restring I asked to replace the one that was broken. Mr Guzman did a great job and retuned my Guitar. Students have the option of learning piano/keyboard or guitar. Classes are laid back and not stressful. George walks from student to student instructing them on their lesson. He's patient and friendly. Most students are adults but I think kids would do well if they can sit still for an hour. Prices are really fantastic compared to any other place offering lessons. To me, the best part is coming to the classroom, focusing on the lesson and forgetting about anything else. It's an escape from everyday life and almost feels like therapy. I didn't have that much time since my concert was the next Sunday. He said to bring it in and he'd do it right then and would only take about 20 mins. I took it in, he explained what he was doing every step, which was awesome, and although he ran into an issue, and I had to leave it, he was done a couple of hours later, but I was already home so I picked it up the next day. They asked if I wanted to drop off my sax to have it repaired or if would like to wait. I had time, so I waited. Although I played music in college (as non-music major) and have friends who know how to repair instruments, I had never seen the process. Beto explained how he was fixing the pads, the springs, the leaks, the motion of the horn. He showed me how he checks each key against the others to make sure that the horn, from a technical standpoint, plays well. I also saw work being done on two trumpets. Rogelio tested my horn, and it played and sounded fantastic. I'm happy with the work they did, and they offer a 90 day guarantee on their work. I look forward to playing on my recently repaired horn.
