Then I asked her to just please update my prepaid card to the new system maybe through the window (outside) and she said she couldn't do anything without a mask. NSC's ridiculous rules gave her no common sense options whatsoever. NSC took it well beyond the (proven ineffective) CDC mask "recommendations." They dictated you wear a mask inside the giant clubhouse no matter what. Well, I never owned a mask. I walked out while she explained and apologized to me by name, and I've never returned. This really was about the last place on earth I expected to turn communist. Oh well...

The DriveTanks guys that assisted us, Riley, Riley and Gabriel were all super-knowledgeable and helpful and made some great recommendations and provided advice on how to use the various weapons and platforms we rented. Highlights were the PAK40, firing the Sherman, the high-speed course run on the Leopard (who knew you could drift a tank?), the Ma Deuce and of course the flamethrower. Huge array of automatic weapons to choose from and chose we did. Ammo is reasonably priced and I suggest getting more than you expect as you rip through it. I would 100% recommend a visit and would certainly return with a group again.

These guys were ALL amazing! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what they do. One of them is even a real model (seriously!) and they were all pretty dang cool! They took great care of us from start to finish, made sure everyone was safe and having fun, and really went above and beyond to make it special for our son. Huge attaboys to the whole crew! My brother in law is a gun enthusiast so naturally, I have rolled into the place a few times over…read morethe past few years. 2020 was the pandemic year and with nothing else to do on weekends after things started opening up that June, we went to Apache Rifleworks and checked out their inventory. There was a run on ammo back then so a trip there a week to buy ammo was necessary. Last year, I finally bought a gun there. It's a Mark IV 22 that is an absolute joy to use for target shooting. The ammo is not that expensive so shooting 2-4 boxes of 22's sets you back $20 - $30. Overall, I enjoy going to Apache especially during their advertised sale which they don't do very often. I'm not into guns like my brother in law but he gets me in there at least 4 times a year. It's a grand place to look at guns and has a great shooting range with a very helpful, competent and professional instructor. I've tried their shooting range and it's very nice. They also have in house classes for everything about gun ownership and shooting exercises. One caution, it is a very expensive hobby. Just wanted to share that with you!

I just got set up a couple made a couple of shots.... a couple of people drove up and then the range master said i was going to have to move!!! He told me to use thid bench!!!! so i packed my things and left this was wrong to treat a customer that way.. Ive been there a couple of times and it was fine.. but after this experience probably wont go back... I told the owner about it but that was it... its a shame....

We just went straight to the range and the first employee was just rude to us for no reason other than we "snuck in" because we were confused, no signs or employees guiding anyone. Went to leave and as we were all in our car, pictured employee came up to us to instigate an argument saying we were banned and never to come back, yeah we weren't planning on it.. Then proceeds to argue about nonexistent signs for 15 minutes and called all 4 of us "idiots".. but he's the one who instigated it and kept it going. Just don't go here, their all rude, low-life and uneducated.

The staff sneaks up behind us, points out that we are missing some things. We end up being told we must pay cash because we "trespassed" and said we had to go to an office, which has a sign that is literally 2 feet wide and so far away from any line of sight. This staff is absurd. We didn't even shoot a single bullet, and there whole staff stopped us as we were trying to leave multiple times just to cry like babies that we didnt know where to go.

Unlike other places that only allow 45mins to an hour. They have firearms for rent and for sale. It's FAMILY OWNED, and takes good care of their employees. It's also a woman owned business - I always love that. They have a shotgun range, a .22 steel target range, pistol range, a rifle range, and a private shooting bay that you can rent if you have a small party of friends or want to do some private training/lessons there. My favorite thing about it? It still embodies the old Texas spirit, it's a true Texas experience here.

So that was satisfying. They provided the instructions on everything and discussed safety in detail. In my opinion the staff were totally professional ans made sure safety was a priority. I didn't feel unsafe at all while qualifying here at this range. I would recommend this place for outdoor range shooting.

Our instructor Tyler was very easy going and helpful. My wife and I were the only people attending that day which was nice. We had a lot of fun shooting at the range, and were able to fire both pistols and rifles.
