They took the time to walk my husband through everything step by step since it was his first time at a range, which made the whole experience feel safe, comfortable, and not scary at all. Kevin the weapons instructor was extremely professional and personable and did a great job instructing 11 year old on gun safety.

Won't let you shot non-lethal guns like a Byrna. Will let you shot a gun that will kill people but not something non-lethal. I don't understand. This isn't a fake review. I contacted Nardis and was told they wouldn't allow me to shot the Byrna. I can send the email to you from your staff. Doug, calling my review fake doesn't make it false. read more

My friend and I went here today and I will start by saying that people were nice, which is always a plus. However, I will definitely continue going to my normal range, Range USA. This place is over priced and I really didn't like that they forced my friend and I to use the same lane even though it wasn't what we'd originally wanted. They did try to help by letting me use a different lane but only as long as it wasn't packed. When more people came in, we were asked to share a lane again. We're not one person. So I don't understand why we have to be treated as such. We just decided to leave. Not only that, it was ridiculously hot in there. We feel like we just wasted our money and time today. At my range, it doesn't matter if you come in together or not, we are allowed to have our own lane at Range USA. Plus, we paid $2.99 for one paper target. That's insane. I was actually considering switching my membership due to convenience, but I'll definitely be sticking with Range USA. read more

The staff really makes this place special. They were all very helpful and friendly. The only ding for me to not have this place be 5 stars is the cost of ammo. They are very clearly marking up ammo they have purchased in bulk. A slight upcharge is understandable, but it felt a little extreme here. The range and gun store are both good, however, if you use Nardis as an FFL for an NFA tax stamp item, expect to wait weeks and or months for the simple certification to take place. You'll likely wait longer getting your paperwork certified than it'll take the ATF to approve. Completely unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and use a more competent FFL. Edit: eforms being down 1.5 days shouldn't set an FFL back months... 1 star is well deserved as an FFL that processes NFA paperwork read more

It has been a few years since stopping in, but I have nothing but praise for how fast I was taken care of as soon as I walked in the store. They had the ammunition that I needed which was great. Indoor shooting range---great for dealing with the Texas heat. Like the other reviews mentioned, the staff here are VERY friendly. You're greeted from the first time you step into their facility till the moment you leave. There were a couple of times where we forgot about the rules and were reminded, but they weren't rude about it. Prices are decent. Facility is clean. I would recommend you go with someone who knows what they're doing (loading, unloading, basic shooting rules, etc.) The staff can help, but they are usually swamped as this place can get pretty packed! Think they have about 12 ranges, so it fills up quickly. Complimentary headphones, eye wear, and target sheet per shooter. read more

Our big group of 9 came on a Sunday afternoon, which we heard later on, is one of the busiest days. They have a sign on the register that there is an hour limit for Saturday's, Sunday's, and Holidays - probably because of this influx of people. We were greeted promptly even though there seemed to be only 3-4 workers there at the time. They gave us several tablets to watch the safety video and fill out waivers. Part of our group were first time shooters, and so they shot two semi-auto rifles. A few others wanted to shoot the full-auto guns as we can't back in our home state. We were told we needed to be supervised for shooting the full-auto, and the employee that helped us was extremely friendly and patient. All employees here that helped us were also super accommodating and great to talk to. I would absolutely recommend coming here for great hospitality and a fun time! read more

I'm not too fond of the idea that their is not a line coach that is in the actual shooting area. If you have questions to leave your lane and go outside? Also, I shot the .45 and I only used 5 of my bullets. I was having trouble with it and instead of reimbursing my money or offering me partial repayment they told me I would have to pay an additional $15.00. To me that doesn't sound beginner friendly for a gun range. Go to the them at your own risk. But I won't be coming back. I would prefer you go to Mission Ridge. read more

While visiting my son at Ft Sam Houston we decided that the day was good to go to a shooting range and we selected Nardis based on local recommendations. Staff was friendly and informative especially to those that were new to the range experience. There was a good selection of guns to rent and even some automatic weapons. The range itself is clean and well lit and the security protocol is stringent as it should be. I found it a bit pricey compared to other ranges I have been to (mostly on the east coast), but hey this is not a cheap sport anyway. read more
