First, let me start by saying I've been going to blks for years. Not this location. assistant manager, not professional here . And confrontational after they perform the job of changing the ignition switch he said they would not put the plastic back and after I start recording with my phone, showing the work they did. He came out threatening calling the law for recording him as he was speaking to me reckless I would not go back to the store They did not want to put back the plastic. But when the manager came back he is the one I left my keys and talk when I dropped the car off. Took less than five minutes to put it back together. Replace blown out tire and a worn out tire. Tires had to be ordered and I was given a price. Plus was told because tire was worn it might need an alignment and price was given for that. Next day tires were there as promised. All went well, price was as quoted, alignment was within limits and no charge for checking. I have been buying tires from blacks for at least 5 years for all 3 of my trucks, always got honest pricing and great service. read more

My husband experienced a flat tire on his way to golf practice. I live in SC but work in NC and bring my car to NC Black's Tire to be serviced regularly. Since we are in SC my husband tried the Black's Tire in Conway where we live. The service was incredible! They made my husband feel like he was the only customer. Michael Cochran was excellent! He pulled us up on the computer so he could see we already purchased Goodyear tires this year and he did everything he could for us to pay a nominal amount. They repaired the tire for less than $30! He also went above and beyond. Michael understands customer service and loyalty extremely well. We will be back and recommend no other shop but Black's Tire and Auto!!!! Quality to a T. So I'm a regular Black's Tire customer and fan, I'm always recommending them to my friends and family. Always go to the Seboard and Surfside location, which i love very much, I recently moved to Conway, so I decided to try their location and i was sadly disappointed, the lady at the front desk is rude in person and on the phn. I rather travel the distance to Surfside or Seaboard because the customer service is amazing, you get greeted as you walk in the door, everyone is friendly and polite. I also want to mention that the gentleman that took my payment was very friendly and had good manners. Sorry guys but the lady is a big no no for me, enough to not return to that location. I've been going to Black's Tire & Auto for a while now. My car has some maintenance that needs to be done. The manager Mike is very nice and has been very helpful and the quality of work has been great. I do think they are a-little high on their prices, but so far whatever price Mike has given me before hand is what I've paid and sometimes it's less and I appreciate their honesty. Had my Silverado's tires rotated and rebalanced in a short order. They also noticed the alignment was out due to worn ball joints which is appreciated and important to prevent improper tire wear. Very happy they are inclined toward prevention and safety. Having that issue addressed immediately for safety and peace of mind. Highly recommend Black's Tire and Auto Service. read more

I had my oil changed on 10-9. Yesterday the 17th my oil light came on my dash. I opened my hood and the oil cap was not on the fill valve. Oil had been spraying out for over a week. I spoke to Mike the manager and he did refund my oil change and clean my engine on top, as well as a no charge oil filter and change. The bottom of the engine still had oil on it and now I have to clean my driveway. Mike was very professional, however this has been my 2nd issue with quality of service. I now need to find another station to service our cars. read more

Noticed my tires air was questionable and tried to test it, but went to Black's and they fixed the problem quickly even though they were busy! We learned the Chevy dealer did not reset the ties when rotating them and over filled 3 of them. Thanks for the help! read more

my daughter had to call them to get info on a service they did and grayson(he said that was his name) he was very rude and disrespectful at 8:00 this morning, every car she has ever had this establishment was the only place to work on them but thanks to grayson they have lost a value customer and i plan to let everyone in all 10 of my social media groups over 100.000 members and alot of them we recommended this place as our own go to car service establishment but never again, to be so rude and disrespectful during this period of time when people are already stressed and having hard times is unacceptable all my daughter wanted to know was what tires they changed when she purchased her two new tires in march/april 2020, she was out of town, her tire went flat and she called to get the information for her own peace of mind and given the fact that she had just purchased two new tires from and that rude employee who claimed he was the manager had her in tears all i can say is he better thank god i could not get to him personally but i have something better and it's called social media. we will never forget the horrible phone call and we will make sure everyone possible knows not to ever take their business to this location. read more

BEWARE !!! Several people I know took their cars in for oil changes and were told that they needed anywhere from several hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars of work that was not needed. In fact one has a son in another state that is a machanic and had just checked over her car but it wasn't due for an oil change at that time (2-3 weeks later was due) SO JUST BEWARE. read more
