On 12/21 I had a sudden handbrake issue at 2pm on a Sunday. Took it in to get fixed at 3:00, and they worked until the last minute before closing at 5pm to get my car fixed in time. Staff was friendly in person and on the phone. read more

LACK OF COMMON SENSE REGARDING CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Got our vehicle back one day and experiencing the same issue the next day. Hours say 7a to 7p. NOPE!!!! Tech's only work 7 - 5. We can't take it anywhere else due to the risk of doing more damage. No time to even take a look to see if it is a small thing or not. Manager is on vacation and Service Mgr. is gone for the evening. Common sense says JUST TAKE A LOOK. You have a lift, put it up and check. That takes 15/20 min. Instead, we were instructed to get an Uber to get to work and they will reimburse us! Seriously? Once this is repaired, I will consider updating this review. Not pleased to this point. read more

STAY OUT OF THIS SHOP! THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!! I took my 2016 Dodge Charger in because the thermostat was stuck and my car over heated. I had already gone to Auto Zone right next to them had it conf with the free scan and printout they give you. my part Cost was $19.99. I asked if Firestone could put it in, They said for $540 Parts and Labor and they could not use my part! This was a 20 min Job 2 Bolts and a coolant line to disconnect and reconnect! I had a flat tire and had to get my car towed to this location because it was Sunday. At first I was thrilled that they could get my car back to me that same day (the car got to the shop at 12pm in the middle of the day.) I called to ask where my car was in line about how long it would take and what the cost would be. The woman was very kind and told me my car was being worked on in that moment (it was still around 12:30) and that I would get my car back in about an hour I thought great I'll have my car back soon! I did not receive any call the rest of the evening so I called back at 4:30 & was put on hold for a good 20 mins. They hung up and called me at 4:54 pm to tell me my car was ready & they would hold it for me. (They close at 5!) I told the woman I would be right there since she was kind enough to hold my car for me. I thought it was weird that it took almost 5 hours to change a tire when I was being serviced as soon as my car got there but whatever. Once I got there she declined me and told me she just closed up and she would see me at 7am the next day. I wouldn't have came to pick up my car if I knew they weren't actually going to keep their word. The following day, I picked my car up and they looked around for my keys for at least 5 mins. They misplaced them. I had a heart attack. Just unorganized. Overall I'm not coming back and it was just frustrating on top of the fact that I didn't have a car in the first place! Just not the friendliest people and didn't seem to actually want to help me. I understand that sometimes work can be stressful and maybe I'm not seeing the full picture of their point of view. But please know that their customer service isn't great. And that sucks when you work with people! read more

I had an appointment to have my car's AC checked. After sitting in the waiting area for 2 hours watching other customers come and go, I decided to check on the status of my car. It noticed it was parked at the end of the lot and had no communication from staff. I asked a gentleman about my car and he said they are trying to find a needed part but it would not be delivered that same day. Rather than communicate with me, they let me sit there for 2 hours on my day off. I told them to give me a call and let me know what they found and I would like my keys so I could go on with my day. Nobody called me to give me a quote. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

All I asked for was a diagnostic for my car, DONNA kept insisting I get an oil change, and I told her I did not need one multiple times. What do you know, they charged me for an oil change when I got my car back! They even ripped the sticker off from when I got it done last. Terrible service. read more

I went for a standard oil change. Requested "only the oil change to be done and nothing else"( My words exactly). I dropped my car off, the lady kindly informed me that it would be around one hour before I received a call that my car is ready. Four hours go by without a call, so I called them. I was informed that my battery was low, my rotors need changed, amongst other issues. I always expect them to come up with more, it's why I specifically requested only the oil change and not a vehicle inspection. She apologized for the inspection that wasn't permitted and told me that my car was ready for pick up. I showed up 5 hours after I dropped my car off just to see my car was still lifted. I asked why and the store manager Josh Carroll told me he'd been busy but he can take it down and forget the oil change if we'd like. I said "no go ahead with the oil change it's already been several hours." He then stated that the oil hasn't even been drained yet and that it wouldn't be anything for him to drop it and forget about my service. I then asked why everything I asked them not to do had been done, yet the only one thing I requested to be done hasn't. He then said "no problem" without hesitating, walked away out, put my car down, backed it out the garage handed my keys to me and said he wasn't doing the oil change and to go somewhere else. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I've never had to call a corporate before until now, it's quite sad considering how long my family and I have been loyal Firestone customers. If I can give this location zero star I would. I was absolutely livid when I realized AFTER four months that the four roters and new pads brakes that I paid for that only two were replaced!! After I had the work done back in August, my brakes were constantly squeaking and I could tell something was off. I called months back with concerns and was told it was normal. I have never had squeaky brakes after being replaced. Fast forward when I called Firestone, I spoke to the manager Josh who confirmed that I should have had all replaced and wonder why it wasn't completed. Although he wanted to fix the issue (as he should), the kicker is that he was not urgent about me coming in and getting the issue immediately resolved. I said I can come in Saturday and was told there was a big sale and he didn't want me to wait. I have paid for a service and should not have to wait! So now I have to leave work on Monday, sit hours with a six year old, and be inconvenienced because of the poor service I received from this particular Firestone store. I can only imagine how many people they have done this to thinking the work was done properly. People don't have money or time to waste! This is absolutely unacceptable and I will no longer be taking my vehicle to this location. I will also be sharing this with others and contacting corporate. read more

I brought my car in because the plastic underneath had detached and was dragging on the road. I dropped it off the night before in off hours and they were able to get me in in the morning. I was treated with kindness and respect, which was a breath of fresh air when dealing with car troubles on a rainy day. There were many people and many vehicles, but I still felt like a priority. I can tell that Josh and his team are people of good character that are looking to serve the community through their work. In a business where auto shops could easily take advantage of people, Josh and his team strike me as fair, honest, and generous. Left with a smile and my car all fixed up. I don't believe this company considers the safety of customers vehicles a top priority. I walked to a store behind the location while waiting for my services to be completed. I walked back over to find that my car had been moved to the back of the store with the drivers window all the way down. I was traveling so my car was packed with a considerable amount of valuables. I had my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro in the front passenger seat in clear view. I had an Oculus 2 also in the car. I walked over to the car to see if anyone would even notice. Absolutely no one did. It wasn't until I found a technician that they even noticed my presence. I had to ask that my vehicle be properly secured. I asked why this was done and he said it was to prevent the keys from being locked in the car. My car has technology that prevents the keys from being locked in the car so there was absolutely no excuse for this. Also the keys weren't in the car. They were in the bay with the service report. I will be sure to never return to this location if I have anything valuable in my car. My oil change was done properly so I am pleased with the service but I am a little concerned about the lack of care for my belongings. As stated, I was traveling so my car was packed with belongings. This location didn't even take note of that. Please do not forget to secure your items before going. read more

This Firestone saved my butt! My car all but exploded on 501, and by some miracle, I ended up in the Walmart parking lot right next door. I called Firestone and Ben picked up the phone. He told me that they could take my car right now! Hooray! So I went in, told Ben what was going on, and he said "don't worry, I gotchu". I left my car there and came back that afternoon because I forgot my work boots in it.. Ben let me get my stuff and told me that the car had just gotten its diagnostic. I got to meet Nick, who was working on my car. He explained what was going on. He was so kind and showed me exactly what was happening, even though I asked a bazillion questions. Nick and Ben even lifted my car and demonstrated what was going on! There was a MASSIVE coolant leak. Then we talked about the next steps moving forward. It was a really big job. I expected it to take a while because it was truly a lot of work. I actually got some extras because they recommended I address a couple of things while they already had it open (my car is a ford explorer, and you have to really get in there to fix anything). Over the next few days, Ben called to let me know what was going on. I called at one point just to see how it was all going. They were so nice! I've experienced car repair shops getting defensive when I called, even though I just wanted to see how it was going! Ben called me yesterday to tell me the car was done. They held my car for me until this afternoon because I was working! When I drove my car off, it felt better than when I left it. I honestly can say that this Firestone looked out for me. They didn't push anything on me, they just laid out options and asked what I wanted. I was happy to get as much as I could done! It was completely worth it! And now I don't have to worry about my car dying. So thank you Ben and Nick!!! Wish I could give y'all 10/5 stars! read more

I've normally had a pleasant experience with Firestone and I've taken multiple vehicles there. So either this is a huuuuge coincidence or someone didn't do their job. I took my Taurus X there for routine brake maintenance and tire replacement. With that service comes a complementary vehicle check where they check your battery, fluids etc. I pick my car up and on the way home it dies. Weird because I've never had issues from it. I get it home and the next following days it repeats the random dying. On the vehicles checklist it says all the fluids were fine, battery was fine etc. Bam! Battery dies. I get a jump. Get it home. All of a sudden head gasket blows. Now again either it's a huge coincidence or someone didn't do their job because when I checked the oil it was apparent something was wrong as the consistency was chocolate milk and you could smell the antifreeze. This starts happening immediately after routine work and no longer than 4 days later my car is completely inoperable. You tell me. I however will not be back and will make sure to stay the entire time my new car is ever being worked on by any else. read more

Woke up today to head out back to Maryland from Myrtle Beach with a car that wouldn't start as we were about to pack up and head out. After a jump we loaded up and headed over And we were taken in right away on a busy Sunday. In just 90 minutes they had us all diagnosed battery in and rechecked and on our way! Tried making an appointment online twice with 2-3 days advance. First one was rejected without a phone call. Second was moved 2 days later than requested and confirmed with no notice. If the time slots are not available they shouldn't be online or I should be notified when my appointment is changed. read more

So annoyed went to get my car looked at by Fire Stone in cf to get an alignment bc my car is a death trap right now and decided to get a oil change ....and after about 2 hours of waiting they didn't put a sticker for my oil change, they didn't call to say it was ready, and didn't even complete the service I wanted done to begin with. Ugh so angry so now I have to go back to get my car looked at again tomorrow on a school night smh read more

I am only giving this review 1 star because the only honest and trustworthy person working there was the Tire/Alignment Mechanic who did a great job on my 2020 Alfa. I bought a set of Generals from Tirerack(fantastic company to work with) so tirerack uses Firestone locations to mount the tires they ship. Plus the total charge to mount is $98 bucks. I live up in Calabash so I ordered Generals(great tires) from tirerack and had them shipped to North Myrtle Beach. A couple days later I called Firestone in NMB and the Manager there told me they could not mount the tires at their location because they did not have the proper machine to service low profile tires 255/39/19 rear 225/40/19 front. They told me to call Firestone in Conway,SC So I did and had an appointment today at 11am. I got there exactly on time checked with the service manager Eric Peques. The waiting room was busy but I found a spot. Customers seemed to come and go so I thought everything was ok. Then after an hour or 2 wait, Eric came over to me and said it would cost $300. No if ands or buts.We do Mustangs and corvettes every other day and that's the price. I said no your incorrect I'm a Tirerack customer and it's $98. He said no way and walked away from me. I called Tirerack(not mad but just confused)and they talked to Josh Carroll the store manager and they arrived at a price around $170. The Tirerack rep said to email him a copy of the Bill and if Firestone doesn't correct it they will. It took 5 1/2 hours. And the funny thing was I meet a lady there who got there an hour before me with a nail in her rear tire and when I left she was still waiting. Geez Loweez!!! I had a brake job done here. I had a coupon but they attempted to charge me over $400. Should have been around a $100. They charged $80 for brake fluid which I refused to pay. After arguing with them they took the ridiculous charges off. I will never go back. read more

My daughter got ripped off by this place. Tried to sell her $60 and $40 air and cabin filters that I bought online for $13 and $7 respectively (takes 2 minutes to do). Then charged $5 to change oil filter which is normally included in price of any oil change. Not to mention $45 for oil. Wayyyy overpriced. read more

Last night I went online to schedule an oil change. The menu you get at the end says, "if the date and time you requested is NOT available, the store with contact you to find a new date and time" I did not hear anything from the store I assumed my appointment time worked. I showed up at the store and they said "no we don't have you scheduled, because we didn't have that appointment time available." I showed the gentleman the screenshot of exactly what the website said and explained that I did not receive a phone call to schedule a different time and date. The gentleman said well we may be able to get you in at some point today but be prepared to wait. NO THANK YOU! If your website is not accurate and I did not receive a phone call, you wasted my time by having me drive up here. read more

Been there 4 times. First visit oil, second visit Brake service and they did not adjust the parking brake that I use daily since my driveway is inclined. Instead of taking it in and adjusting the spring nut, they said it was not us. They replaced the rotors, pads and calipers, so with a new rotor being thicker you have to readjust or reset the parking brake, at the end they took care of it. Third visit asked for roadforce balancing on new tires mounted on new rims. I noticed a TPMS reprogram charge but since they were doing the roadforce, I didn't complain even though it was unnecessary because the sensors were already programmed to the car. I asked for the roadforce diagnostics and they had every excuse and no answer, and finally the tech admitted it wasn't done. So I had them explain the TPMS programming charge. My last and final visit, was for a patch plug, again the TPMS charge, on top of a valve stem charge. $43 for a slow leak repair, I just walked out. I feel bad for customers that are not mechanically inclined, and how they are taking advantage of customers. They should do everything they can to save customers money not the other way around. Asked to have a tire balanced because I was leaving in the morning on a 13 hour drive with my family. When they answered the phone stated they weren't too busy today, put me on hold then came back and said I could wait around and see if they could do it today or make an appointment for a few day's later. I said I was leaving in the morning so if there was any time available today I would make that work and he said the best thing to do would be make an appointment for a few days later. Brought my Chevy truck in for brake service to this location. The service manager was professional over the phone. I was quoted $990.00 for repairs. I did some research and felt I was being overcharged for parts. I also questioned the amount of parts that I was told needed to be replaced. I was told certain parts were simply too rusty to work on and needed to be replaced. I decided to have the vehicle towed to a different auto repair shop. When my vehicle arrived at the other shop the mechanic noted that my back brakes had been taken apart and not put back together!! In fact, several pieces actually fell off during transit. My final bill at the new facility was just over $500. I am not saying that a good experience with Firestone Complete Auto Care is not possible just be careful! read more

Had a scheduled appointment for an synthetic oil change for my 2003 VW 1,8 Turbo, while changing the oil the technician noticed small cracks on my rear passenger rim, I occasionally had to put air in the tire but figured that with the change of weather was losing some air, the problem was the hair line cracks on the rim. The technician was thoughtful and professional. Will definitely use for all future repairs/service. read more

Went in (no appointment) for oil change and tire rotation. They got me in and out quickly. Problem is that I had a vibration coming from left front, which asked them to check. I had to replace the right front wheel bearing a few months ago so new the sounds and the price, wanted to see if they would try and charge me more for it. To my surprise, after the tech looked at it, I was told they couldn't find anything and it could be the tire; see if the vibration had moved to where the new tire is. Pulled out of the parking lot and there was the vibration, front left. Pulled into a different place a mile away and tech heard/felt the vibration, confused why it was missed at the Firestone location. read more

Wish there was an option for no star rating because it was horrible. I called before going and was told they had my tire size after checking everywhere else. They were not my first choice because they are the more expensive than most other places but was desperate for a tire and was willing to pay because they said they had it and could get it done that days! Upon arriving they tried to tell me the tire was $40.00 more than what they said on the phone. Then sitting for an hour and during that time 2 times the guy comes to me telling me they don't have the tires but they are showing in the computer. I left still not having a tire but being guaranteed they could get one from another store and have it for me by 10:30 am the next morning. I showed up at 11:45 and yes they had the tire but it wasn't done and said it would be another 45 minutes. I left there at 12:50 finally with a tire. Will never go there again or recommend to anyone else!! read more

Most importantly, they did a phenomenal job getting my 4 year old car up to speed with a set of "floating on a cloud" tires. I will be back for oil changes and other check ups.
