"I have been a loyal customer here for 3 years, but I will never return. I went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation, but was upsold on a coolant flush. Not only did they fail to rotate my tires (which I had marked beforehand to verify), but they botched the coolant flush so badly that my car overheated into the Red Zone three days later. They left air in the cooling system, causing my heater to fail and my engine to spike to dangerous temperatures. When I returned for a refund, they tried to deflect blame by claiming my car had a 'leak'--despite the car running perfectly for years until they touched it. Furthermore, they completely ignored the fact that my front brakes are shaking and grinding, choosing to push a 'cloggy coolant' upsell instead of addressing a major safety issue. I was eventually refunded, but only after standing my ground. If you are a woman or a loyal customer, be warned: they are now prioritizing sales quotas over honest work and vehicle safety. Its always easy for me to make an appointment and the staff is always very friendly. They call you if any situation arrises to let you know and ask your input on what should or should not be done. Called to schedule an oil change with synthetic oil as my car goes though very high mileage. Being the car in workers all super nice so I was like okay they should have made a note and the last couple times I brought the car in it's got synthetic and has only ever gotten synthetic. Well didn't think anything of it thought they just had a promotion going and was getting a discount and what do you know got regular oil that I will burn though in less then 2 week. Will most likely not be coming back as that was scam! $80 for reg $100 for synthetic over priced and i had said many time it needs to be synthetic oil and was told "yes we can do that". seems the employees either need to communicate better to the shop or they are screwing the customers which will make them lose customers faster. very not happy and will not recommend this shop anymore sucks because this is the fastest most honest place to go well was. read more

I had an appointment for 4 tires and it took 2 hours just to change the tires and another 45 minutes for an alignment. Way too much time

I brought my car to Black's because I needed to have a new battery installed. I waited about an hour for an available person to install it and then I was happily on my way. I certainly recommend Black's Tire and Auto. read more

trying to have a long trailer tire repair he never checked the tire. He just took it off. They said I need a new one. I explained to him everybody that I know checking in a lot Trailer tire always pour water on it to spot the nail. He walked away. The location across the PGA Superstore in North Myrtle is where I went. (Granted I have only been to one other). Very simply put,they were professional and prompt and very easy to work with. I had a problem with my tire pressure monitor I showed up late in the afternoon 15-20 minutes before they closed they did take a look at it and said they could repair it the next day. The next morning they fixed it for a very reasonable rate in just over an hour. What more could I ask for? read more

My Toyota Sienna died on a Friday while we were out of town, and I had it towed to Black's. I met James there, and he said they were pretty booked up and wouldn't even be able to look at it until Monday at the earliest, and probably not be able to do any work on it until Wednesday. He called me the next day though, and said he was able to check it out. He said the radiator was shot, and he could order one to be to him by Monday. He called me on Monday to say the radiator was in, but now that the vehicle was running he discovered damage to the engine. He understood that with 257,000 miles, I wasn't going to put major $ into repairing the engine. He tried a temporary sealant so I could at least drive it home, but it didn't take. He agreed to hold the van until I could dispose of it. In the end, the van was with him for 12 days, and he didn't charge me a dime for storage. In addition, when I came back to meet the tow truck driver to take the van, and to pay James, he said he felt bad about what happened to my van and gave me a generous discount off of his original quote for the work he did. James was honest, got to everything much quicker than promised, and was incredibly easy to work with. I would recommend Black's to anyone! read more
