I went to Blacks in Loris because I noticed some wear on my tires.I didn't know if this was normal wear or if something was off.They brought my car in checked the front end parts and the tires then something very strange happened. The mechanic told me that the car was fine and didn't need any repairs and the tires were just showing normal wear.Imagine that A mechanic telling me that I didn't need any repairs. I asked about tires he said I didn't need them right now and explained how tires wear and what to look for while inspecting the tires.This level of honesty is not seen too much anymore.This week I need 4 new tires ,brake pads,transmission fluid change,and probably an alignment on my Honda.Guess where I'm going read more

Ok back in May I brought my truck to the loris store to get my king pins done when I left my truck i was told 2 to 3 days tops ok kool so 3 days go by still not done I was down for a total of 10 days lost 12000 just in down time not including 2200 they charged me even know I was down for ten days I still paid full price . So after it got done I picked truck up and it had little shaking didn't think it could be the king pins probably shocks you know since I just lost all this money survey they fix them rite ? Well boy I was wrong so week after I left shaking got worse so I said well maybe they didn't do the alignment rite well I brought the truck to best tire and what do you know the alignment wasn't done ok so fast forward 2 weeks shaking still bad I bring it to 5 different dealer ships and I change parts that didn't have to be changed we all know how shops are a bunch of con artists any ways 3 sets of steer tires new parts and fast forward to apr I brought my truck in to a shop in ridgeland sc honest men rite away they found out what my problem was they showed me it's you're king pins so 6400 dollars later as you guessed I'm pissed now all in all I am about 30000 in whole because this shop didn't do there job rite well after I left the shop I went in and spoke to Mike and his boss Brian I was respectful didn't cause a seen we had nice meeting and Brian said we will not leave hanging I don't know as far as how but we will take care of you we just need to investigate. We'll fast forward 3 weeks and I get a call from Mike and yup you guessed it supposedly Brian went to peterbuilt and all size and number s matched and what went wrong was lack of greeting so instead of admitting fault saying sorry we screwed up Brian goes back on his word they did not take care of me and they went as far as blaming me for not greeting them which I greesse once a week mind you ...so please if you are a customer or truck driver stay far away from this place as possible and if any one would like proof of what I'm saying I would be more then happy to send you videos and recordings of our conversation..blacks tires says there main priority is customers satisfaction putting a driver 30000 in the whole making him believe you were going do the rite thing and then put blame on me that should all tell you they do not care about any customer and if you don't listen to my story you will find out please by all means call me I will love to show proof if you aren't sure thanks izak venuti .....ps stay away from this store so you don't get ripped off ..and I will be making a video showing all proof of being screwed over on tic toc come and watch read more

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I also mentioned my front driver tire had a leak. I was extremely disappointed when I left and realized that my tires were NOT rotated! i habe been using Blacks for over 17yrs and the previous one was in Little River, SC near my workplace. I left there after having to buy two sets of tires in a few years, due to my tires not being rotated during regular maintenance. I left that one and recently changed to the one closer to my home. I have always been good about servicing my car on time and doing what's necessary. It's very upsetting that this has happened yet again! read more

After 5 hours they were able to rectify, and drill through 2 lug nuts they managed to drill too tight and the studs broke. They fixed them successfully. Big Shoutout to Andy he pulled through and got me sitting right. If i were to go again I would have him work on my vehicle. read more

worst experience I've had from blacks tire in a while. had an appointment set for 10:30 to get an alignment and it took them until 3:30 to get it finished. I stopped by at 12:30 to check on it and the paper had said everything looked good except the driver side was off a little bit. 0.8 to be exact and when they called for me to pick it up at 3:30 it still said the exact same thing! at 12:30 when I checked on it the guy told us he stopped working on it bc he got aggravated and jumped on another vehicle to do some tire rod ends and get it done then he would get back on my vehicle. then had to pay $120, I feel like I should've gotten some kind of discount or something read more

Very disappointed with the service received at this location. Paid premium price (much better prices elsewhere) to replace a tire that was damaged due to a piece of rebar in the highway. After waiting most of the day to get my car back, I noticed they had ordered and mounted a completely different tire than what was already on the car. They eventually got the correct tire ordered and put on. When it was all said and done I ended up paying even more than what was originally quoted. I called the Loris location several days ahead of time and made an appointment to leave my vehicle there for brake service. Dropped it off at 8:00 am. Get a call at 10:30 that it is ready to go. Asked about what happened with the breaks they said they would double check and call me back. I didn't hear anything and called them back at 2:30 when my ride was ready to bring be back. When I got there I learned that I needed brakes and rotors (which is why I took it there and asked them to do it). But they had not done anything and stated they wouldn't have time to do it before closing time. Absolutely wasted my day. Now I have to arrange a ride to take the truck for brakes tomorrow. Everyone there blamed someone else and didn't seem too concerned about my business. I will not be going back. I'd rather drive an hour to the beach and get decent service than having my time wasted so nonchalantly. read more

When you buy tires and have them installed, your tpms will magically go out and they will say the light was on when they got it. Take a picture of your dashboard before you bring your tires in for replacement. This happened to me twice at this point. They couldn't even get their story straight as to which sensor went bad when I complained about it. read more

I arrived at 7 am and urgently needed new tires on an enclosed trailer so I could leave for a 1000 mile trip home to NY state. I was in and out in an hour with new, reasonably priced tires. The lady at the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. The service tech Harold took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. He even greased my Buddy Bearings for me. Sad to report that Black's marked up my wAter pump near 46%, my thermostat 36% and a power steering hose 48%. When questioned, because I knew their Carquest Auto Parts costs, they adjusted their bill to reflect a 30% mark up on the water pump. They only gave me a two year warranty even after I told them that the Carquest warranty on a new water pump was "lifetime". After pleasant experiences with the North Myrtle Beach facility, I doubt I can ever trust this Loris, SC facility again. So sad. read more

While traveling with my family and pulling a fifth wheel camper, I unfortunately hit debris in the highway, blew out a tire and was in need of a new tire and the heat index was 103 degrees. A local merchant mentioned a newly built Black's Tire Service near Loris South Carolina just down from our camp site in Tabor City NC. At Blacks Tire I was greeted by the friendliest receptionist when I walked in. They had my trailer tire in stock, at a lower than competitive price so I opted for a heavier load tire for just a few bucks more. The shop was full, so I waited in a huge, cool waiting area with snacks, drinks, comfortable chairs and cable television. By the time I sat down my tire was ready; in and out in less than 20 minutes!!! Unbelievable!!! I noticed their advertisement for cars, trucks and RV's, so I think they have you covered for tires and auto services. Went there today 8/27/2019 for a Lube/Oil/Filter. Was told that two customers were in front of me and it would be about 45 minutes. About an hour and a half later I was still waiting, so got up requested my keys back and left. I wouldn't mind so much if someone had told me they were behind, but nothing. Ran into some unexpected car issues on the way home from Myrtle Beach to Atlanta, stopped at Blacks to have the flashing check engine light looked at... glad I didn't listen to the guy who said it was safe to continue driving to Atlanta. Called my mechanic back in Atlanta and he said the exact opposite. I let my mechanic speak to the guy at Blacks, my mechanic said to go somewhere else! I really do appreciate the discount on the diagnostic fee from Blacks and that is why I give them 3 stars. But glad I got a second opinion because I wonder about the damage I would have caused to my engine from listening to these guys. read more
