I just wanted to get out of there. They never checked my tire pressure. Then when I got home, I realized they didn't use my coupon and the front of my car was FILTHY from their hands... so now I also have to pay for a car wash. I recently brought in my low-mileage Nissan Armada for service before an extended trip of several thousand miles. During the oil change, some oil was spilled. The team wiped it up, added water, and mentioned I might see a drip under the car. I understand mistakes happen, and this didn't seem intentional. They also recommended a radiator flush, which I agreed to based on what they said was Nissan's recommendation. However, when I got home, I noticed more than a small drip--it was a noticeable mess under the car. In the dark, I couldn't tell if it was oil or antifreeze. Mind you this car has never had a leak, has 32,000 miles on it. I returned the next day, and Carter, the tech, was very helpful. He explained it was antifreeze, possibly from a bubble or overflow, and assured me everything was fine. Unfortunately, after getting home again, I saw more leaking. This forced me to postpone my trip a day and return the following morning. Carter and Brian inspected the car and found a hose they believed was the issue. After driving and letting the car sit, I still saw drips on my normally clean driveway. My car was fine before service, but now I've lost confidence in taking it on a long trip. I ended up using my older car with 160,000+ miles instead. Since the undercarriage wasn't cleaned, I can't tell what's new versus old residue. The owner responded to my initial post and asked me to call the manager. I called on 11/25 and spoke with Jake, the assistant manager. He took my information and said he'd pass it along. Understanding the holiday timing, I expected a short delay--but as of now I still haven't heard back. I've since had someone take the car to Nissan for a full check to confirm it's safe. My expectation was that Take 5 would address this promptly and work to make things right. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened. Two weeks later after reaching out to Take 5 as they replied to do. Still no call back from them. Nissan did have to repeat the service and clean the motor because of the mess underneath. Take 5 could very easily follow up, but they have decided not to. They appear not to be intrested in making things right. No I would not recommend this business.

Next I tried Route 66 Auto - and I am sooo glad I did! My problem was very unusual, and not easily diagnosed. He also performed some needed maintenance I requested, as well as found the reason my car had been running a little rough. She now purrs like a kitten & keeps me icy cold when it's hot outside. The price was very reasonable & was much less than replacing the compressor, which was what I feared would be the solution. Edgar's knowledge & experience has extended the life of my beloved 2006 Hyundai Sonata, and has her running like she was brand new. I knew Edgar personally as a man of integrity, but had never sought him for car repair, since Loris is a bit of a drive from where I live... but saving time, frustration & money from having to take my car in for multiple visits for the same issue is WELL WORTH the drive from Myrtle Beach!

I have a 2015 Nissan Juke that I've had over 10 years and I take great care of it. 3 years ago we moved from the mountains to Myrtle Beach. The heat and salt air caused a bubble to form on the hood of the car. It was filled with water. I popped the bubble to drain the water and the damage got worse. It looked awful. I wish I would have taken a before picture. I thought I was going to have to have the whole car repainted. Nope. I took it in to SC and Daghan said, "no problem." The cost was minimal and less than a week later I picked the car up. His communication is amazing. I didn't have to make any calls to remind him I was waiting. The work done? Flawless. It looks AMAZING. Honestly better than the day I got it. I HIGHLY recommend Daghan and his crew at Socastee Collision. You won't be disappointed.

Made appointment over a week ago with him to be there at 7:30 this morning to have my truck worked, arrived at 7:15 plenty of time 840 my truck can't move, but other customers had come in their trucks and vehicles was took back worked on. No one ever said anything why it was being delayed at least they could've had enough decency to say less and we run behind or it's gonna be a little bit longer, but they didn't even do that. Made an appointment over a week and still didn't work on my truck I left. I would not recommend them to nobody. My time is precious too, we have to pay them by an hour maybe if they wouldn't make their appointments they have to pay us by an hour. I would understand if they say listen we running behind something come up anything like that but they didn't even have the decency to do that. read more

Last year I gave Blacks Tire in Loris a horrible review. I have waited a whole year and decided to try again since I like to promote hometown business! I have to say that the staff at the front counter was absolutely amazing. The young man named Will was so nice and professional. I literally thought to myself that he was a great face for customers to interact with as soon as they walk in. I decided to wait on my oil change, so I had the opportunity to experience the interactions of other customers with the front desk staff. Again it was all positive. I guess it is true that times heals all things. I have decided to not let one rotten apple from a year ago spoil the whole basket. Thank you Blacks Tire in Loris for the great service! read more

I had not idea at the time, but I'd developed a serious problem with my front brakes Locking up while on the highway. All I knew was if I could make it to a Black's Tire Store, they'd square me away. The North Myrtle Beach store immediately diagnosed the problem as a twisted pressure hose, acquired the parts, completely overhauled my front system, and then assured me everything was covered under the warranty. As busy as they were, they took in my problem, made me feel like I was the most important customer there, and got me back on the road in short order. I'd highly recommend Black's Tires!! read more

Service was fantastic and the value and pricing was amazing. I went in to get my truck a complete oil change the tires rotated, balanced and aligned and left paying just over $100 oh, and also had a rear light bulb replaced. I was expecting to pay much more because the normal place I take my truck I pay close to $200. I can say that from the point forward my next oil change and tires rotation will be at Black's Tire and there on. The staff was very friendly and helpful they talked to you like you're part of the Black's Tire family. read more

Line up. The front end components were evaluated and a upper ball joint and a inner tie rod was replaced. I was notified before any parts were replaced. I talked to Wess in Whiteville and he called Mikey in Loris to get me the best discount possible. I was very satisfied at Blacks in Loris and previously in Whiteville. Just all around great people. Jiffy Lube has since offered to refund my money for the fuel filter but nothing for the repair cost of fixing their mistake. Jiffy Lube doesn't stand by their work.
