Dropped off Escalade for stalling and not starting back. They replaced fuel pump and fuel pump relay and had it for over a week. (cost me $1,100.00). Drove back down from NC on Friday and picked up Saturday morning. It made it to Latta Sc (1 hour away) before it shut down again and wouldn't start back. tow bill cost me (1,084.00) to get it home. Totally wasted 1,100.00..... I would not recommend them for any Engine issues. read more

Nail in tire. My car said passenger rear, but the technician said passenger front. He was right, as when I had them rotated the people didn't make the adjustment. The technician wast fast, professional and knowledgeable. Great service from the time I drove in to the time I left. read more

Was on vacation to North Myrtle and a little leery about getting ensnared with a large repair, after car started making a noise during deceleration. My mechanic at home said to get it checked out before driving 2 hours back. Black's was relatively close to the beach house, was rated well on Yelp - so I called and they told me to bring the car in early the next morning. We were impressed by the professional staff and cleanliness, and their willingness to understand the issue and our predicament. We were even given a ride back to house while waiting. They let us know specifically what was wrong with brakes, and we went along with their recommendation which was a fair price for the work being performed. We were picked up and driven back to the shop, and all work was completed within a 3 hour window while we relaxed at home. Finally, AFTER I closed out my bill and got back home - I realized we hadn't mentioned we were a military family. They were able to credit the military discount to the credit card, so I didn't have to drive back to the shop. Amazing experience for our car and for us. Stopped here to get a screw removed from my wife's tire ( a Myrtle Beach homesite souvenir) . The hole couldn't be plugged do to its location on the tire , they ordered the same brand tire and had it delivered mounted and installed the next day . This for a price that was a great value, they also topped off my fluids as well. Went in for a service and rotate. During rotate an object was discovered in the inside wall of the left rear tire (one month old, less than 1k miles). When removed, no puncture, or air leak. The object (see attached) was lying flat in the sidewall. Same color as the tire with different texture from the tire, more like a hard plastic. it was my opinion that this foreign object was molded in during during manufacturing (one of techs agreed). I was told that I had damaged the tire but, I could contact the manufacturer (Cooper Tires). It is my opinion that BTS should be the one to contact the manufacturer. The folks at the shop were great but, the corperate folks that inspected let me down. I will not do business there again. read more

Very disappointed in Blacks for misleading my wife regarding an issue with coolant in her BMW. Told her it needed a radiator flush for 239.00 and that the reservoir was "bone dry". She, being a savvy shopper went else where and found she only needed about 4 ounces of coolant and all was good. Shame on you, Blacks! read more

Had extensive engine work done on my Honda Odyssey in April then had a failure of my idler pulley hardware, one call to Andy and he got me in immediately. Honest and fast quality service. Would not take my car anywhere else if I have an issue while there. I was in town for Mustang week and the rear axle seal went out. They got my car repaired in a timely manner. They told me it would be done about lunch after I dropped it off at 8 am. They had it ready for pick up at 11 am. They didn't try to upsell anything or push any services I didn't need. We were able to get back to enjoying the trip. Thank you everyone at Blacks tire and auto. George you are the man. read more

We got a flat tire while on vaca. I called on Monday and they ordered my tire and was supposed to call me the next day when it came in. By 430 I called and they said the tire was in but they didn't have my number to call. (I 100% gave them my number). I scheduled an appointment for wed at 1pm. I got there at 12:45 and they said my appointment was at 12:30. (Again it was 100% 1pm) and we had to wait an hour. Not thrilled but at least the tire is good. read more
