First time customer. Great customer service and excellent product. Was in and out in under 40 minutes with 2 new tires. Very honest people. Thought I also had an issue with a tire sensor, expecting to have one or more replaced. They checked and said, no , I didn't need that. They reset the computer and the indicator light went out. They could just as easily charged me for a sensor and I wouldn't have known. Very refreshing to know honest people still exist. read more

I need help with a gas smell leak in my car and I couldn't figure out what it was so I went to Blacks to see if they could check it out. After leaving the facility the first problem was a cracked windshield. the next day the car became undriveable. apparently one of the brake shoes came loose had car towed to blacks. They repaired but refused to pay for the tow. In addition I requested that they repair slow leak on driver side rear. Still leaking. read more

They are rip offs. They replaced all my bricks less then year ago over 700 dollars now I can in for tire rotation n they are saying I need a full set of brakes again. They put 4 new tires on put the lug nuts on to tight so I had to pay for all new lug nuts w my free tire rotation Not to mention the staff is very rude. They can't tell you prices. They all say. I purchased a set (4) Goodyear "run flat " tires and was told there is no warranty for " run flat" tires. One of my tires was flat so I returned to have it repaired and was reminded about the no warranty clause. So I had to purchase a new tire. When I purchased. Y new tire, it just happened that there was new management, The new management informed me that, as of now, if I purchase new tires, they will have a warranty. Same company, new management, but no warranty on the new tire I purchased???? read more

On 4/24/2022 I rolled my limping 2014 Sante Fe into this businesses parking lot for the first time. Unfortunately, my "old girl" had a thorn (screw) in her right front paw (Tire). This morning at 7am I called blacks tire and auto service to tow my car into the shop for a new tire and a wheel. The guy I talked to said that they would be out to tow my car and I could leave it where it was. At 10:45 they called me and said that my car wasn't there. I CLEARLY stated on the phone that my car was in the turning lane so I was surprised it took them that long to go out to get it. The original tow was $400 (from another company) because the police had to call for it. Plus the $125 to get it to a different tire place. Taking 3.5 hours to drive 4 miles down the road to get my car is ridiculous. I am so disappointed in this place. Do NOT trust that they will come get your car when they say you can leave it. read more

My husband and I have been using this blacks tire location for the past year. Every time I come in here they always remember me and have my information pulled up in a matter of seconds! The first time I came here it was because I felt I was taken advantage of at another auto shop. The other auto shop had told me for a simple oil change it would run me 95 dollars. When I inquired as to why it was so expensive they told me they wouldn't change my oil if I didn't use the synthetic blend high mileage. So the only oil they would use is what they wanted or they weren't going to do it at all!! I was fuming mad and left (after a call to the manager!) When I walked into blacks they said my car didn't need that kind of oil right now and they had no problem doing a basic oil change. And they certainly weren't going to argue with me to the point of telling me to go elsewhere. This place really cares about their customers and treats them so well. I have always felt they have my best interest at heart and wouldn't do anything to take advantage of me. Super nice guys and very knowledgable! I called Black's at 8:15 am and explained my brake problem. Charlie said I could come right in. As soon as I got there, they took my car in right away. They were able to get the parts needed and by 11:00 my car was done! The cost for my service was fair. He even put my windshield wipers on. Charlie couldn't have been nicer and more professional. I called and they were able to get me in right away. I usually go to the dealership because I have a leased vehicle but they couldn't get me in today. Guys were friendly and price was nice. The only minor complaint was that there were grease or oil marks on the door from I assume getting in and out but it was dirty and needed a washing anyway. Potholes are bad in Charlotte. I hit one a few days ago and my tire had a slow leak. I looked on yelp and took my car to Blacks without an appt. they immediately took my car in , told me the problem, and gave me a very fair estimate. I was in and out within the hour. Had to get an oil change and state inspection. The guys at Blacks were great. Able to turnaround the oil change and inspection in under an hour (weekday). (Didn't try to upsell me on any repairs or extra work as the vehical is a 2008 Tundra with 110k miles.) The price was as expected and the fact that we could just drive in, get it done and get out that quickly was great.
