Got to visit the bakery during the Holiday season and the decorations were very festive. The bakery is walk in basis, which often makes it difficult to find seating on a Friday or Saturday night, as it's also a small space. My friend and I both ordered espresso martinis, and requested they make it with tequila. The barista was confused and mentioned she has never had someone request that, however was accommodating and made their house cocktail with the substitution. It may have been her first time making it, but it did not taste that way. It was delicious. We did not order food, however baked goods and menu looked intriguing. In a very cute area walking distance from other bars/restaurants.

I love this place for the Victoria sponge cake. I have not seen it in any of the bakeries I frequented in the lower mainland, so I am quite stoked to see it here. The Victoria sponge cake is a simple sponge cake with jam and cream in the middle. The version is here is pretty good. Light sponge with a nice jam and cream dusted with icing sugar on top. Perfect with tea. I have tried other cakes and pastries and they are all good. The matcha latte is delicious. Every time I'm in the area, rather in the Langley or Abbotsford vicinity, I make a detour or side trip here. Just to get the cakes. They also serve food and alcohol. I always thought it's like a cafe which is open for breakfast/brunch and closes in the afternoon. I am quite surprised to see it open till 10 pm which is wonderful, especially for the people living in this area. The menu is quite limited to me as it's mostly pizza and sandwiches for the lunch/dinner menu.

    The vibe

They don't have wifi! Honestly, in this phone obsessed world I don't know why I have to use data. Food is good as usual. Expensive for some things. Some are priced accordingly. It gives off bar vibes if you're looking at the ambience. Service was fine. Curious why I'm tipping for no extra service. Overall I think Victory Cafe is much better!

Delicious pastries. On the pricey side. Free parking outside. Facility was clean and tidy. Staff was friendly

This one is pretty far out there for me - Place is very very busy - and seems to have never ending lines , so seating can be a little rough during peak periods I would imagine. The smell of freshly baked goods and delicious food filled the place - Don't really recall music - Brunch was slightly on the slower end to arrive to your table - but that's okay if you grab a coffee or pastry to kill the waiting time - Benny was pretty good - however the tart was surprisingly a little stale. Will probably visit again to try some other pastries in hopes that it meets the visual glams -

Went all the way out to Langley for a meeting. Blacksmith Bakery on first sight was very impressive. Located at the bottom corner of a new building, it has a cool patio, interior on point & the baked goodies had me ohhhing & aaahhhing. My tongue was hanging out of my mouth. The interior is spacious with plenty seating & the patio is very accommodating especially during this summer heat wave. Alert - it's very pricey to eat here! Quality is supreme though. I had the French Toast & it was excellent. Tasty, beautiful to look at - I stared at it for a moment. The Pepporoni Pizza was good. The crust not to heavy & easy to chew. I added honey onto it, like I usually do on my pizza. As I wrote this I remembered coming across Blacksmith Bakery a few years ago at their Fort Langley location & recalled that they had - really big crossaints. I shall return when I'm way out in this region again.

This is one of our go to bakeries whenever we are in the Fort Langley area. I love the delicious baked goods that they have and it always pairs well with a coffee in hand. Don't forget to get it heated up to have them tasting extra fresh!

Such a good bakery for pastries or baked good or just to sit down and have a coffee and a sandwich or pizza. The pasties are delicious and you may need to take a few home for later ! So fresh and tasty. The sandwiches are well done and the seasoned potatoes are excellent. They have homemade pizzas and homemade soups. We are here every week at least for coffee and a sandwich or to pick up some desserts. They also have homemade dog biscuits for man's best friend! We gave the biscuits away and they were a hit.

Such a cute little bakery in Langley! The interior is gorgeous with lots of natural light and seating. We tried the eggs Benedict which was super tasty along with the koign aman which was amazing paired with the matcha latte they also serve cocktails!! What an incredible place to be any time of day!

The food and bakery selection is amazing. This is one of their newer locations and has a decent sized seating area. However, on the day of my visit, they were only accepting cash. Luckily, I had some money on me which usually is not the case. I ordered the croque madame - poached egg, ham, Gruyère, and bechamel on croissant bread. It was a decadent brunch item and very filling. The side of smash potatoes was also very filling and seasoned well. Service was good. Staff dropped off the food at our table and stopped by to clear off finished plates. My only complaint was their cash only option that day.

Stopped by for a snack before heading to the theatre. It's a nice, open space with patio seating and plenty of indoor seating. It's an order and pay before you sit kinda situation. We decided to just grab a ham and cheese croissant. To be honest, I didn't think the croissants looked like they'd be very flaky, but I was wrong. It's was buttery, flaky and delicious. Perfect amount of cheese and ham. The croissant price was in line with other bakeries in Vancouver. If I'm ever back in Langley, I'd give this place a try for their brunch or lunch items. I walked by some tables with their food and it looked good. Give this place a try if you're in the area!

New cafe in town! Very cozy. Big dining area but tends to get busy during lunch time on weekdays. The breakfast is great!

    Assortment of tasty pastries!

We usually go to Blacksmith for coffee and baked goods but their mains are excellent too! Everything is fresh and made with care.

Living with a burger loving gal, we took advantage of the free advertisement for The Bistro and checked it out. The place is clean, rather spartan, but bright and airy. You order at the front counter, pay, and wait for your food to be made. The menu is far wider than we thought checking it out on line. Is it going to win the best burger? We would say no way, with Loudmouth at Mount Lehman out there along with even Five Guys around the lower mainland, there are better choices. One thing the lovely K loved is she was as able to determine the doneness of the meat. The potatoes that came with were good, but soft on the inside and also out, which isn't what I'd want. I had the breakfast brunch of Desi Platter which was very tasty, and quite different. One thing I will say is the price of the menu item deserved a three egg omelette, not two. The rest of the platter was really great, the paratha especially, never tried that. Would we go back, probably, but not compelled to do so right away.

My friend and I have a tradition of getting breakfast before our 9am class on Fridays, and Google reviews seemed to suggest that the Bistro was the place to go. We walked in about half an hour after opening, and the place was warm and already buzzing with a pleasant volume of conversations from a handful of filled tables. Patricia (the owner?) greeted us as soon as we entered and directed us to the menus. It's a small breakfast menu of about seven items, but what they do, they do well. I had the sunken Benny, which Patricia kindly explained to me was not at all like a traditional Benny. Instead, it was poached eggs, potatoes, corn, black beans, bell peppers, and chorizo nestled into a zesty tomato sauce. It felt a bit like a Mexican take on a shakshuka. So hearty, especially as it was served with a delicious focaccia style bread--it could cure heartache, I think. My friend ordered the omelette with a side of pancakes, and the omelette was a great balance of veggies, meat, and cheese. And the pancakes... I promise I'm not exaggerating when I say she shed tears. "10/10," she declared, marveling at the texture--somehow soft, fluffy, and bouncy. The baked goods are also all made fresh in house, and I had to get a carrot and mascarpone muffin to go. It wasn't super cheap (~$25 per person with our various sides), but it's worth it for food that fills the stomach and the heart. Can't wait to come back! Thank you, Patricia and staff!

It was beautiful especially signage. I particularly loved the giraffe. The inside is not big, but it doesn't feel tight. They also have outdoor seating which was nice. Although it was busy, the accommodating service never lacked. So happy to see people enjoy what they do! I ordered the ube matcha with macadamia milk. I didn't even know macadamia nuts could turn into milk!! But it's become my favourite milk alternative. The drink itself was a perfect balance of all 3. I find that usually one over powers the other, but the ube, matcha, and milk all came through. I also ordered the mini cupcakes and they were just right. The cupcake flavours change daily which is great as you will never get tired of it (they post the flavours on their ig story). We also could not leave without the malasadas which was fluffy and creamy and not too sweet! Overall a great experience. Will definitely come back the next time I visit.

We were pleasantly surprised that they offer guests access to their full drink menu including their specials. Ube matcha was good, but had a hint of cinnamon which we could have gone without. The matcha mango was also good. The blackberry lavender matcha was too floral for our liking. However, eventually you get used to it and then it becomes more enjoyable. The pandesals were super fresh and we loved both the ube and strawberry butters that came with it. I wish that they came a bit warmer, so that the butters could have melted a touch. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 sandwiches. I especially loved the arugula on the mozerella sandwich. The blackberry brie sandwich could have used a touch more brie, but was still delicious. The cheesecakes were good, but a bit too sweet. The strawberry was my favorite. I enjoyed tasting multiple flavors. Their red velvet cupcake was extremely moist. The pistachio malasada was cute and flavorful. The filling to pastry ratio was good. I think that the experience could have been better balanced if there were a few more savory items. One thing that we noticed was that all of the pastries including the malasada were cold. I can understand that there are some food safe requirements that need to be met in how desserts are stored. However, letting them sit out for even 20-30 minutes before consumption would have been better.
