We scheduled a follow up appointment in 2 weeks but told me that if the condition improved to just call and cancel that follow up. At my appointment, the doctor told me with attitude that they don't do it at all - he didn't even know what his own office offers. Front desk then revealed a different doctor handles the treatment, but he only comes in once a quarter. Why wasn't I scheduled with him from the start? When front desk convinced me to go back in, that same doctor suddenly claimed they could get the treatment approved - but I'd have to pay out of pocket for the medication. He was making definitive statements about insurance coverage when he clearly had no idea what he was talking about. Front desk promised to file appeals on my behalf. Three weeks of total silence. I called back multiple times through their call center - each call got me a different story and no callback from anyone at the actual office. First they said yes they do appeals, then no they don't. I even had to call to find out they canceled my appointment - they never bothered to contact me. I requested a refund. They refused, claiming appeals were filed when I can see in my app that only the initial request exists. This office is completely disorganized, the doctor doesn't know his own policies, and nobody there is on the same page.

I used to go to Blue Med Spa in Sherman Oaks, and every visit there would take 1-2 hours. The whole experience always felt like constant upselling from start to finish, from the front desk to the injector. It just wasn't enjoyable. My visit today was the complete opposite. The office is beautiful and very welcoming. When you walk in there's chilled champagne, orange juice for mimosas, and a lot of skincare products displayed. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first because I thought it might be another high-pressure environment. Instead, everyone was incredibly kind and relaxed. I told Kelly upfront that I had about $450-$500 to spend, and she didn't bat an eye or make me feel uncomfortable about having a budget. She treated my 11 lines and forehead wrinkles for $300, after the receptionist helped me apply a $65 coupon that she informed me about at check out. I was honestly expecting to only be able to afford my 11s like I used to at Blue, where just the forehead area would run around $550-$600 and crows feet were always extra. The difference here was huge. Kelly was thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. It usually takes about 30 minutes, but this time Dr. Lin was done in 10 minutes. A few days later, I noticed uneven, hollow areas under my eyes, which was something that has never happened before. I reached out to express my concerns and request a refund for the $850 I paid (which, by the way, used to be $400). Instead of any accountability, I was told by Lucy that refunds are not offered but that I could speak with Dr. Lin directly. Dr. Lin agreed to fix the issue, so I scheduled a follow-up and another flight from Texas, and another expense. But when I arrived in California, I found out Lucy had booked me at a completely different office (Sherman Oaks) instead of the Valencia office I've gone to for a decade. When I realized the mistake and tried to reschedule, as it was too far away for the time I had to do it. I texted back, emailed, even called, and I was completely ignored. Because of this careless handling, I ended up losing $1,400 in travel costs due to flight changes and extra expenses from the government shutdown. And to make matters worse, I now have to spend another $850 elsewhere just to get my filler fixed. I just want a refund of my $850. I can't even begin to describe how disappointed and disrespected I feel after ten years of loyalty. The quality of care and communication has gone drastically downhill since the switch to Unified Health. As a VIP patient, I no longer recognize this practice, and I will not be returning. I am deeply unhappy with my results and the way I was treated.
