We have been customers at this dental practice for years. Recently, the front desk manager changed and the new ladies have attitude issue. You never see the same dentist even when you request it. They want to make you do procedures that you may not agree with or without discussing it with you. Their teeth cleaning is hardly a cleaning but more of a quick polish... no cool So no, I dont recommend them. read more

I was greeted by Melanie at the front desk and she was very helpful, informative and welcoming. I didn't get the names of anybody else, but kudos to the team. The dentist was a gentleman, friendly, and executed my procedure very well. For what is worth I hope this helps somebody out there... I got an oral surgeon referral from my regular dentist to come to this location in MAY for a somewhat urgent reason, and since then I have been scheduled for 5 appointments, but they have all been cancelled by the office a day or two before actual appointment (after they still sent me many messages asking to confirm, which I did). I have had to take off time from work, and they don't offer any explanation other than 'the doctor isn't here' , and then only offer me an appointment a month later for the same thing to happen AGAIN. I am beyond frustrated. I haven't even had the chance to visit this location but it seems like there is no need for me to ever. read more

So. Long story but worth reading. If you value yourself you will not set in this place. Two people you should never have touch your mouth one of them is Dr. Hughes and the other is Solidad supposedly the manager. Little over six months ago they tried to talk me into upper implants and they did. They did the work messed up by drilling through my cheek bones I was told that there was going to be a bone indentTo protect the gap between the open sinus And cheek bone. After hours of work they sent me home and told me to call back when I was healing up. Unfortunately not knowing or understanding exactly what they did I was unable to get out of bed for two months due to the pain and the Green mucus draining out from my sinus through the where they drilled and put implants. I called them a few weeks later I told them infection was getting worse and I felt as though the implants had fallen out and the drainage through my cheek phone got worse and worse. At this point I already lost my sense of smell and taste and every morning I wished I was dead the pain was that excruciating. They asked me to come in to see what was going on promising that the implants didn't fall out but the screws fell out from the implants which was common. After they took x-rays Dr. Hughes came in and asked me where were the implants? When they fill my bag down and I showed it to him and he looked at me with the bewildered look Stating that the implants themselves fell out there was nothing left in my upper gums and now my body rejected the material they used. As he noticed that everything was gone he looked up at Solidad and said I don't know what to tell you, I never saw him again. They gave me a second dose of antibiotics and told me to go home. Since then I moved to Bakersfield and it's been six months and I've never ever felt the same after they did the work and drilled through my cheekbones. So far I've been to 4 dentists And two special surgeons claiming that the quality of work that Princess A Dental did was absolutely horrible and the reason for the loss of taste smell and constant taste of burning and infection is constant from morning to night. They screwed up my quality of life. It has been almost 7 months since the work was done I am getting ready to have surgery due to foreign bacteria that formed in both my sinuses and the surgery is definitely not covered under my insurance. I have collected enough evidence to the point that I will go the extra mile to make sure they don't do this to anyone ever again. I have called and I have called left numerous messages but the Manager won't call me back and the girls that I know in the front desk 60 days after the work was done in March they weren't working there anymore I assume it is because I did not sign any authorization that would allow Princess A Dental to drill through my sinuses and create a horrible lasting affect. This work was done in March 2021 I was not able to see anyone until May 2021 due to my inability to get out of bed due to the severe pain that I had and still have to this day. I gave them Six months to see if I would heal properly I was told I would but I never did. At this point I am not giving up because I do have one year before statue of limitation ends. They will not call me back when I leave messages, they know that they wrongd me and they know that they need to repair the problem and they don't know how to fix the problem. Since I am not guaranteed any quality of life better than what I have now but it's worth a try. I am only 56 years old but thanks to Princessa Dental I feel like I'm 86. Do yourself a favor skip this dentist especially the oral surgeon. I am Waiting for a CT scan for my sinuses in order to find out if anything or any surgery can be done to correct the damage done. I came across this four years later. It is now May 20 25 and damages to my teeth have been done beyond recognition. I paid them $40,000 cash and I ended up with a disgusting mouth since they touched me back whenever that was I've been walking around toothless None of my money was reimbursed. They ignored my calls my messages and solid out. The owner is good at ignoring people. She is also good with making empty promises. $40,000 later and they couldn't even do my teeth in the same shade. At this point I am sick and tired of dealing with these people. If you value yourself do not set foot in this place for Dr. Hughes is a horrible doctor and throughout doing my upper side implants and because of such crappy material, they fell out during the healing process. He saw what happened turned around and said there's nothing more I can do for you. None of my money was reimbursed. Pictures have been posted across the Internet again. PLEASE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT COME HERE. I got my braces here and the orthodontist RUINED my teeth. I had a beautiful smile before and I mainly wanted to fix my crooked bottom teeth. After my treatment, I was left with horrible flared teeth that looked like horse teeth! I let the orthodontist know that I HATED my results. He proceeded to GASLIGHT me and said my teeth were always like that. NO THEY WERE NOT! I KNOW MY OWN BODY! I had to do my own research regarding how to correct my issue. I needed something called IPR to prevent my teeth from being flared, and the orthodontist failed to do that with my treatment. Before braces, I would always get compliments on my smile. Now, I never smile. It absolutely ruined my confidence. It is the one thing I genuinely hate about myself. This is at the fault of the orthodontist. DO NOT EVER GO HERE WHATSOEVER!!!!!! PLEASE!!! Avoid this dentist office at all costs!, it doesn't even deserve a star at all. These dentists should have their licenses removed (but apparently they don't even have any!?) and the place should be closed down. Today my mother went in because she had an infection in her tooth and needed assistance or medication to stop the infection. She called previously and was told to come in to the office for medication. This was the third time she has tried to get help from this place. When she went in and explained her problem again, they told her that they "can not prescribe any medication because we don't have a license". They also said that they "cannot perform surgery because we are waiting on our or surgeon". After being told this, a random dentist who is not my mother's main dentist (she didn't say her name) chimed in that she could perform the surgery and extract my mother's tooth easily and it wouldn't be a problem to do it right there with no prior notice. The following events should NOT TAKE PLACE IN ANY MEDICAL INDUSTRY EVER: Then the lady dentist proceeded to numb my mother's jaw and started to extract her tooth. My mother audibly let the dentist know that something was wrong and that SHE COULD FEEL EVERYTHING and the NUMBING WAS NOT WORKING and put her hands up to stop her. The dentist kept going and ignored my mother. She next proceeded to use some tool and pushed so hard into my mother's face that her head was shoved off of the operating table and displaced her jaw. My mother put her hands up to try and stop her from breaking her jaw and move her head back in the table and both the dental assistant and the dentist moved my mothers hands away and forced her to endure more AGONIZING PAIN as they forced her tooth out. They then gave her more numbing after everything was done, which did not reverse the TRAUMATIZING event that had just taken place. She was kicking and screaming crying the entire time as she was OBVIOUSLY IN PAIN. No one listened to her. NO ONE CARED. A grown person should not have to physically run out of a dentist after being put though extreme pain. They should not have done this to her. She will forever now be TRAUMATIZED by this. When my mother came home, we called the office again. It would be too traumatic to go back to the office. We got a call back from the dentist - Dr Brennan Hughes DMD - who should have done the surgery in the first place, and we told him everything that had happened. After telling him kindly and calmly that my mother needed help and medication and antibiotics, THE DOCTOR HUNG UP. PLEASE if you would like to avoid a traumatic experience, DO NOT GO HERE. To start off, the wait time was not bad at all I waited for about 3-5 minutes max. The lady at the front desk was very nice and explained the procedure of wisdom teeth removal pretty well. The nurse who took me in to the room was very comforting and sweet. I had came in already nervous and scared for the procedure but she made sure to do her best to calm me down! Now... before coming in I read the reviews and was scared that it was going to go wrong due to the negative things people had said but I had the best experience here. Just wanted to warn anyone that comes here for a simple cleaning and is told they NEED a deep cleaning . Surprisingly none of it was covered so it was 400 $ each quadrant and i had 2-4? Can't remember . Anyways I'm unemployed (injured) at the time so i refused . Well i went to my last dentist and paid cash and they told me my teeth were perfectly fine and i never needed the deep cleaning. So just get a second opinion because i paid 120 $ for the simple cleaning from my last dentist ... as opposed to the 1400 dollars out of pocket cost it would of been !!! 2nd update: They charged my insurance for the wisdom extraction that never happened AND THE FULL IV SEDATION, that they tried to make me pay for! They committed insurance fraud and refused to speak to my insurance and I after calling EVERY SINGLE DAY. They would tell me that they don't know when the manager or the biller would be back, for months. I was unable to get my wisdom teeth removed for a A WHOLE YEAR because my insurance had to open a fraud claim against them and THEY STILL NEVER PAID. I ended up having to pay out of pocket fees to get my teeth removed. THEY ARE FRAUDS, THEY COMIT INSURANCE FRAUD. My family and myself have been coming here for years and always leave happy. From routine check ups, to emergency visits we are always well taken care of. This last time I saw Dr Orna with Ana as her assistant and both where welcoming, patient and listened to all my concerns. Dr Orna was very good about explaining my diagnosis to me and answered every question i had. Overall a good dental place. Keep in mind that the cost varies depending on your insurance. I have Dr. Hassan and he's been a great dentist. I have done a deep cleaning to the top and 1 filling done as well. The overall experience was good. Very little pain and that is because I have nerve in my top mouth that is a constant problem to numb and with my previous dentist, was a lot more painful. I do recommend coming here. read more

Went to go take my brother to get his wisdom teeth out. The ladies at the counter were so sweet and kind, and patient when I had questions. They were gentle and made sure all of our concerns were met (even answered some questions we didn't even know we had!) The procedure went incredibly smooth and the healing went even smoother. While I'm ashamed to say it, I avoided going to a dentist for 30 years because of an extremely bad experience with a dentist and only went back again because I absolutely HAD do. Even then, it took me the better part of a year (and 2 other dentists!) to find a dentist I felt comfortable with and could trust and that dentist is Dr. Brennan Hughes. I've been to his office 3 times so far: once for the initial visit, then for multiple extractions, and again for the first part of a deep cleaning, and not only is he kind and gentle, but he listens to you, explains what's going on, and doesn't take your concerns and fears lightly. He also takes any other health issues you may have into careful consideration and works with you and your primary doctor to ensure all goes well. And not only is he wonderful, but his staff is as well. Having been part of an office team myself in the past, I know what's expected of them (or what SHOULD be expected of them), but am often shocked to find just the opposite is the case, but Dr. Brennan's staff is top notch. They're the sweetest, most compassionate group, friendly and quick to laugh (WITH you, not AT you) and willing to go the extra mile to help you. When they say they'll do something they really do it, including calling you back (I say this because so many places don't!). From the first phone call to the moment you walk through the door, they make you feel comfortable and put you at ease which, for people with anxiety (especially when it comes to anything medical and dental related), is a REALLY big deal. They even walk you out when you've had major work done! So, if you're looking for a dentist don't hesitate in giving Dr. Brennan Hughes a call. You WILL NOT be disappointed. I may always be a scaredy-cat when it comes to the dentist (the one I had years ago REALLY did a number on me), but thanks to Dr. Brennan Hughes, I'll never put off going again. Would leave 0 stars if I could. Dr Brennan Hughes has always been kind this is regarding their other dentist Gilbert Abliez or Abilez. After being thrown for a loop about insurance not approving 4 teeth removal yet, I finally told I was approved after 2 weeks of calling. Then they tell me they can't remove them till October 9th. (Even though this was sent through as an emergency authorization through my insurance. I then ask what Im supposed to do for the pain, since all I had received was 800mg ibuprofen and antibiotics at my prior appointment which has not been helping very much unless I take more than recommended which hurts my stomach and I am not really able to eat due to this issue and the other 2 root canals I'm scheduled for in October due to no availability. I was told my regular dentist wasn't available and so I had to come in and see their other one for him to prescribe any pain meds since he hasn't seen me before. I also bring up over the phone that I'm worried about infection, since my antibiotics are out soon and I have a whole month to get them taken out. Anyways, I find childcare and figure out a way to be able to get there, and without even looking at my teeth, the first thing he says to me when he comes back is "you're still taking these? *points to the 2 meds I mentioned prior* and I said yes. He then goes, "why are you here then? You don't need anymore meds." Then clearly frustrated, I go on to explain why im here and how long it will take to get any treatment. He then says "well I don't prescribe opiates so I don't know what drug you're looking for". I NEVER once said I needed opiates. Would I have taken them if prescribed? Yes, because I'm in a lot of pain, but I did not walk In asking for anything specific. At this point I'm visibly upset. Then he goes on to ask me why I've never gotten my teeth fixed before because this teeth decay doesn't happen overnight and why would I come all the sudden saying I'm in pain. Little does he know I have a seizure disorder which prevented me from being able to get procedures done, was lacking insurance for quite some time, then got insurance but had 2 babies close together so couldn't get work done then. Also, not that it's any of his business, I couldn't afford to cover what insurance couldn't. After all of this, making me feel embarrassed and horrible about myself, I proceed to get up, he then points his finger up in my face while very close and says "I'm done with you! You don't know me! You don't know me" and I ask him "don't point your finger at me sir" he then said "I'll have the sheriff come and arrest you and kick you off this property!" (Mind you I had already gotten up from the chair to leave so this confused me and I'm also crying at this point) I then tell them I've read the reviews of this place and I'm not surprised. He then says "why'd you come here then?" UM MAYBE BECAUSE THIS IS WHERE MY INSURANCE SENT ME AND IM IN PAIN AND HOPED I WOULD GET HELP?? I will be filing a report with the BBB, the California Dental board, and my insurance company has already confirmed this place has many insurance fraud cases against them. No one deserves to be treated like this over a very serious and emergent dental issue. Shame on all of you who work here. I know sometimes a paycheck is a paycheck but this is supposed to be a place that helps people. Not judges them and practically calls them a drug addict for no reason. And before the owner comments on this saying that dentists aren't allowed to prescribe opiates, like she did on another post claiming they denied pain medicine to another patient for that reason, YES THEY ARE. They need to be licensed with U.S.D.E.A. to do so, which is the reason they refuse, because they aren't licensed. Or they just treat everyone in pain like a drug addict. So either way, it's bad. The waiting time here at Princessa Dental is horrible. It's 5:16 right now and I'm still waiting to see the dentist AND my appointment was at 3. Zero stars. So on feb 26 i take my daughter in because she is having pain from wisdom teeth. They confirm the teeth need to be removed. They tell me that the general anesthesia is $1000 and the laughing gas would be covered pending authorization from insurance. Many weeks pass no word, i call, they say insurance hasnt sent auth yet. I call in April, still no auth. I call Ins. directly , find out paper work from dentist office wasnt submitted until march 31, 5 WEEKS AFTER APPT. Meanwhile my daughters in pain and her teeth are moving, she had braces 3 years. So i call again and its a miracle, the auth was just received today, the same day i called, thats a crazy coincidence. They tell me laughing gas is not covered, ill have to pay $175. So i call insurance again, they tell me auth was sent on April 20, and laughing gas is covered. I call back dentist office, and told id have to pay the $175, i was not happy, i told the girl she was incorrect and it is covered. I was then hung up on. Was i the nicest? No, im frustrated. Called back insurance, they confirmed, yes laughing gas is covered. Called back dentist, asked for copies of the authorization, they refused. Now will be calling the Dental Board regarding insurance fraud. I wonder how many other people just paid it and didnt have too. Incompetent thieves. Now my daughter being in pain 3 months and her straight teeth now being in jeopardy, we have to start the process over with a new dentist because i dont trust these people. Do not go here. read more

8 minutes ago The lady up front was very nice. I had my tooth extracted, and the removal was VERY rough. It did hurt with the numbing. The pain medication was not offered, and I had to ask for it because OTC would not help with that kind of pain. The radiograph was not performed to ensure entire tooth is out. They also kept trying to push for root canal after I said I couldn't afford it. One tech argued with me that its covered by medical which it is not covered. They refused to give pain medication. Dr. Naureen Sanhibzada is the most positive and happiest dentist ever and makes you feel like everything will soon be perfect. I was looking for a nice location and somewhere where I will feel comfortable and not seem as if I'm at actual dental office. Every time I come in, I am greeted nicely. Wait time is typically 5-10 mins tops. When I don't understand something, gabby takes her time to explain procedures and payment options. I'm only rating one star because I have to, in order to leave this review. I wish I remembered the name of the female dentist whom my children and I saw the other day. We are used to having the dentist show us our x-rays and pointing out any cavities found during the visit. This dentist didn't go over the x-rays with me and my teenage son but advised us that he had 3 cavities. She initially said he didn't have any, then said he had one, then two, then three. At the end of the visit, we asked to go over the x-rays with her, and she proceeded to state that she had training for 4 years. While that's great and all, we didn't ask about her training background... we asked to see my son's medical records. She was very condescending and spoke to me like I was a child. So when I got upset (I shouldn't have stooped down to her level, but I did) she refused to show us my son's x-rays. No customer/patient should have to fight to see their own medical records. I called to apologize to the two other ladies in the office (receptionist and dental assistant) as they are super sweet. I asked to speak to the office manager, who wasn't there that day. I was told she'd give me a call upon her return, but it's been nearly 5 days since this incident and I have yet to hear from her. This whole situation is upsetting, as my family has gone to this dental office for a few years now. We never had any issues until we dealt with this unprofessional and rude dentist. She is getting paid to provide a service, and that's what she should do. No one cares about your training background. If a patient asks to see their x-ray, just show it to them! If you have nothing to hide, it shouldn't be a problem. That dentist is super shady. I am never taking my family back to this place. read more
