The food was delicious -- classic comfort dishes that would make even the Old Man put down his lamp prize and dig in. And I cannot say enough about the terrific staff, especially our server Dee, who was absolutely outstanding. Friendly, fast, and knew exactly when we needed refills... and dessert... and maybe more dessert. The show was hilarious, nostalgic, and full of heart. The cast nailed the humor, and the set took me right back to childhood Christmas chaos. Highly recommend if you want a night of good food, lots of laughs, and zero BB-gun accidents. The Palm is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking and it is easy to find. Dinner seating was a 5:30pm, with the show starting at 7:30. When you arrive, you are seated at a table and then drink orders are taken. Alcohol and soft drinks are not included in the ticket price. For Saturday dinner, you have the choice between the hot food buffet or 3 plates meals. Both options include access to the salad bars, soups and dessert buffets. Our party all opted for the plated meals and I got a seafood pasta that exceeded expectations. Portions are also large and they will wrap leftovers. The salad bars and soups were pretty standard, but the desserts had a lot of variety. The staff does a good job at making sure meal service is done in advance of the show and the buffet area does close before the show begins, with servers bringing bills and taking drink orders during intermission. The show itself was amazing with a talented cast that would inspire me to check out other performances at the Broadway Palm!

You're also next to two plazas with nice dinner options if you're coming for the evening show. Love the intimate size of the theater which really means there's no bad seat in the house and I love the seats on three sides of the stage. We have seen two shows there so far - one a play and one a musical - and both have been great! Highly recommend checking out this little local gem with reasonably priced tickets and amazing membership options and supporting amazing talent!

Since moving out of state, I keep my eyes open for cultural events that my husband and I might enjoy. I haven't struck out yet. Players Circle is a theater in the round. Actually, the square. Uncertain about where to sit, we bought tickets in the east section. Since productions are staged for the venue, I don't think anybody loses out, but take note of the different price points, which is likely a gauge. Our seats, while not the most expensive, were great. I was impressed with the two-person production of "Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks." Funny, sad and poignant, the show bravely touched upon topical subjects like the tragic outcome of backroom abortions, religious hypocrisy and more. The performers were perfectly cast, with acts cleverly separated by vintage film clips. (Amazing how the actors were able to change costume so quickly!) If Saturday's performance is typical of Players Circle, they're now on my radar. In fact, before writing this, I went online and purchased tix for Godspell, which artistic director Robert Cacioppo said is their most ambitious musical yet!

I felt the train ride itself was a bit unnecessary. There was one nice section of the train ride over water, otherwise there wasn't much to look at. Also the train was swaying back and forth causing me to get a bit nauseous. The food itself was all pretty good! The cheese and fruit plate, potato and leek soup, pretzel roll, and salad were all great starters. I was satisfied with the meal before my entree even arrived! My family and I tried all of the different options (prime rib, salmon, and chicken) and thought they all tasted good. Though I could have done without cranberries in my rice... The dessert was small and light for a cheesecake. Food was surprisingly better than we thought. As for the show, I definitely didn't get how we were supposed to deduce the killer. But the actors did a great job and it was overall a fun night.

We were able to get individual tickets online but still make note that we wanted to sit together, and that all worked out really well. The tickets are expensive (makes sense...you're getting a show, a 5-course meal, and riding a train) and being able to buy separately was really helpful for us. Everything the night of the event ran like clockwork. Boarding the train was easy and fun. We had a table in the Gasparilla train car with lovely servers who took care of us all night. Drinks are pretty reasonable (ice tea and water are included, but you can purchase soda, beer, wine, cocktails) and you can even get a full bottle of wine for your table which you can take home if you don't finish onboard. The meal was better than I expected. It started with a fruit and cheese plate, then we had hot pretzel rolls an butter, a delicious potato leek soup, a salad, and then the appetizer. Our choices were prime rib (friends said it was delicious), chicken francese (I loved it) and salmon. Dessert was a cheesecake. The performers were very animated and enthusiastic. These murder mystery shows are always hard for me to actually follow and figure out. I appreciate all that goes into it, but I wish I was a better sleuth. My only issue is that the train ride itself is VERY long at 3 - 3.5 hours. I love a nice train ride, but I wonder if they could shave a little time off the ride.

Not just any food, excellent food. I usually get a hamburger or nachos. This time, I went all out. I ordered their prix fixe menu: twin lobster tails, salad, potatoes, and asparagus. Mrs. K had the filet mignon with the same sides. I took pictures of the next table's dessert just to show people the quality of their product. I hit not be as nice of an experience since there isn't as much time to casually sit and order food. I would probably recommend eating somewhere else first and coming to the later shows for cocktails and maybe dessert. The layout is also very nice. The stage is raised up just the right amount so nobody's view is blocked and the acoustics are spot on, making it easy to hear the comedians but not overbearing noise levels. I'll definitely keep on commission g back to off the hook!

Brendan, I think he might be the manager on site, called to confirm receipt of our request and said that he wasn't sure if he could accommodate us because we did not have enough tickets for the amount of people who wanted to go. After about 45 minutes, Brendan called back to say he adjusted seats in order to accommodate us at two separate tables. The parking lot was jammed full so I was excited to hopefully get some interesting Christmas themed items. First impressions walking in to the building; it was extremely small, clean and odd. Not really a theater, looked more like a mini banquet hall for an 80's style wedding and a venue bar like on a cruise ship. Nothing Christmas related at all in sight. In fact the first thing I noticed was the 2 skeletons in costume sitting on the far side of the bar which screamed more Halloween. Walking to the vendor room, feet away from the door, there was literally nothing there except for a very small amount of vendors with traditional craft fair items. No Christmas! To me there is a big differences between vendor and craft fairs. Vendors you expect crafted goods and in my mind I thought there would be quality Christmas items. Being in the character performing business, I thought I could get items to enhance my character. Like Christmas themed jewelry, maybe a crafted leather belt, Christmas books for story time, etc. This was a craft fair that basically had homemade items that you expect from a "craft fair" or Etsy Shop without a large selection of choice because it was too small. I walk out with a few magnets not long after I arrived. I probably will not be attend events there any time soon.

The food quality was underwhelming for the price. Buffet stations were frequently empty and took a long time to be refilled. The chicken paella was so salty it was nearly inedible, and the fried chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Overall, the food felt more comparable to a basic hotel breakfast buffet than a $65-per-person Mother's Day event. Service was also lacking. Our waiter rarely checked on our table, and we repeatedly had to get up and seek assistance ourselves. Several aspects of the event felt misleading. There was no clear indication during booking that the event would primarily be outdoors. We were seated in one of the elevated booths in the back where the fans provided very little airflow, making it uncomfortable. The advertised "live music" consisted of a single performer who was barely audible from our table. To add to the disappointment, the waterfall walkway was closed, which was one of the features we were most looking forward to enjoying while visiting the property. The only bright spots were the woman working at the front, who was kind and professional, and the employee at the omelet station, who was friendly and attentive. We chose Schnebly's for a special Mother's Day celebration because we had high expectations for both the venue and the experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling that the event did not deliver the quality, service, or value that was advertised. I also reached out directly to management regarding these concerns and, as of the time of this review, have not received a response.
