We went to Cape Cabaret in Cape Coral, FL. They were hosting a 2026 Kentucky Derby party in their lobby and main ballroom. We booked four tickets (for free by the way) and shared the info with more of our neighbors . A few proceeded to book directly on their own. Because we all wanted to sit together, we called very early on the morning of the race and left a message to request the possibility of putting us all at one table. Brendan, I think he might be the manager on site, called to confirm receipt of our request and said that he wasn't sure if he could accommodate us because we did not have enough tickets for the amount of people who wanted to go. After about 45 minutes, Brendan called back to say he adjusted seats in order to accommodate us at two separate tables. Once we got there, we found out that we were ALL, seven of us, seated together!! What amazing customer service we experienced!! Went to the Cape Cabaret Christmas in July Vendor Fair today and it was completely not what I expected. The parking lot was jammed full so I was excited to hopefully get some interesting Christmas themed items. First impressions walking in to the building; it was extremely small, clean and odd. Not really a theater, looked more like a mini banquet hall for an 80's style wedding and a venue bar like on a cruise ship. Nothing Christmas related at all in sight. In fact the first thing I noticed was the 2 skeletons in costume sitting on the far side of the bar which screamed more Halloween. Walking to the vendor room, feet away from the door, there was literally nothing there except for a very small amount of vendors with traditional craft fair items. No Christmas! To me there is a big differences between vendor and craft fairs. Vendors you expect crafted goods and in my mind I thought there would be quality Christmas items. Being in the character performing business, I thought I could get items to enhance my character. Like Christmas themed jewelry, maybe a crafted leather belt, Christmas books for story time, etc. This was a craft fair that basically had homemade items that you expect from a "craft fair" or Etsy Shop without a large selection of choice because it was too small. I walk out with a few magnets not long after I arrived. I probably will not be attend events there any time soon. read more

We went to Cape Cabaret with a group to listen to a Chicago cover band. This is a hidden entertainment gem in Cape Coral. We had an amazing time. The food and music were both great! I ordered the bolognese and meatball entree, and my wife ordered the osso bucco. Both dishes were delicious. Everyone in our group lived their meal. The band was phenomenal as well. The music brought back memories of our youth. The dance floor was hopping and all present were partying like they did in the 70's. If you haven't tried Cape Cabaret yet, go online and check it out. You'll find a wide range of entertainment and are certain to find something you'll enjoy. Get there a little early to get a parking spot in the lot behind the building. The shows are very entertaining and fun. The food is mediocre, not bad not great, in fact underwhelming after the build up they put forward regarding the chief.... Went with a group of friends to see Ultimate Anthem. I have heard nothing but good things about Cape Cabaret. Very great atmosphere! Good seats no matter where you are. Our waitress was so pleasant! She was super nice. They have a good menu, even have a good vegetarian section. I ordered a 10 ounce ribeye and a baked potato. My husband chose the vegetarian ravioli. My steak was cooked to perfection. Very tender and tasty. The vegetarian dish looked and tasted fresh and delicious. The music was amazing!!! Ultimate Anthem is a fantastic 80's cover band. They had everyone up and dancing. Highly recommend trying this place out. Only warning is that it is on the pricey side. read more

I'm mixed. As a place for entertainment, it's pretty cool, but it's combined with a restaurant which is its biggest weakness. The food just isn't worthy of the set prices. I think it could be fixed if they just had lower prices, or to be honest, just ditched being a restaurant and stuck with drinks and entertainment. The forced tip is also annoying, especially since the service isn't always great. Bad service plus bad food should allow customers to at least be able to provide a method to let them know that not everything was okay. My advice would be to see a band or entertainment there on events when it's just drinks or optional food. And eat before you go! If they want to continue to serve food, they simply must improve the quality. Often, it's no better than getting some fast food down the street. Last time I had the chicken, it tasted like it was picked up from somewhere liked that and then delivered to me, less fresh and reheated. The tastes are edible, to be sure, but not meals you'd ever tell your friends about. Just something to fill your stomachs. If the prices were lower (I'm mainly talking about the entrees here), then I'd be perhaps okay with this. Something to munch on while having a beer and seeing a show. But they're trying to be too high scale and it's not the situation in terms of fine cuisine. If I wanted a nice meal and high prices, I'd dine out at a high-quality location. Cape Cabaret is more of your dive bar type food place, but again, with some great entertainment. The acts are often very cool and fun to see. So guys, lower your prices (as I just don't think the food situation can be fixed) and drop that forced tip. For all I know, these items are TV dinners (though the better TV dinners at least). I think it's worth returning here if the food or prices improved. But I will wait and see what others say first. Also, staff is mixed. Some really cool people there. Some that just don't seem to care about your experience at all, like they are only there to get your money, and annoyed that good service (and food!) are expected first. Potential customers: if you are thinking about going for dinner, take my advice and read the reviews about the food first. Then explore your best option. For a concert without food, hey, buy a ticket and enjoy!!! read more

Two friends who were visiting and myself were excited to see the Queen cover band at Cape Cabaret. Having been there a few times before and finding the food mediocre, we skipped the dinner and just had drinks and desserts. Desserts were meh, but we were there to see the band. What a huge disappointment! The other times I was there, the entertainment was great. My suggestion is that you should research the band before going to see them, as the person booking the acts obviously did not listen to them before scheduling them. We didn't even stay for the second half. I emailed the venue and did not even get a response from them. Lesson learned. read more

We've gone quite a few times to Caoe Caberet and loved it. The music is great and the food is usually pretty good. Last few times we've brought large groups. We had dinner before the Majesty of Rock came on, who we absolutely love! But everyone's meals (there were 23 of us) seemed to have some kind of problem with their food. One didn't even get hers till everyone was about done. I don't know if it was a different cook, but there was a big difference in the food. Service was great especially considering how many tables she had. Since I asked everyone to come (many had not been there before), I was pretty embarrassed about the food quality. Went to Dueling Piano Show and it was fantastic! Our waitress doesn't know how to waitress. She never smiled, took over fifteen minutes to find her and then another fifteen minutes to get refills on fountain drinks. After getting our meals, our waitress never came back to ask how are meals were or did we need anything else. I had the NY strip steak which was full of tendons and I couldn't eat it. There wasn't much potatoes in the Au gratin potatoes once I got through the top layer of cheese. My partners flatbread was good. My advice.... Eat before you go there.... Our server checked on us regularly and kept our cocktails as well as water glasses full. If they have entertainment in one of their numerous rooms likely you should make a reservation. An adult crowd mostly 40 or above. Shown in large print on all the menus is that a 20 percent gratuity is included in the price and on the actual bill as well. We Don't know why so many negative reviews, this review is strictly about the food. There were 10 of us, we were all expecting a basic menu which we saw online. But to our surprise there was a special menu with steaks, lobster tails, prime ribs, all at a discounted price. Mostly everyone in our party ordered from this special menu, prime ribs, short ribs, filet mignon ribeye, New York strip, and lobster tails. We also had salads and soups. We are frequent patrons at Cape Cabaret. Since the renovations, which are lovely, we have had some disappointments as well as some delightful evenings. The menu is always excellent, however, recently quality and quantity have been inconsistent. After bringing visitors for a perfectly superb meal and service, the following week, we returned. Both the same meal and service were terrible. The show was ending by the time our dinner was served, it was not up to par and the waitress was upset with the kitchen stating that they were short staffed, causing delays in serving. It was very disappointing indeed. We also are extremely sad that several of our most cherished entertainer's are no longer performing there. We were regular visitors when they were performing and visit less frequently. We will return at some point and hope the service is back to excellence. read more

Love this place. We were going out to dinner but the place we were going originally didn't work out. As we drove by the cabaret it looked like a fun place so we called to see if we could get in. They said absolutely, the shows were sold out but we could come for dinner. We sat by the bar and it was a nice spot with good ambiance. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. The 6oz filet that most of us had was delicious. Cooked to perfection! The ribeye ordered rare was overcooked & the lamb chops were a little fatty. Garlic mashed and au gratin potatoes were not good. At first service was good then after the meal was served we had to go find our waitress for anything else. Watched other waitresses and they were constantly watching their tables. Ambiance was as ok. I have driven by here several times wondering what the Cape Cabaret was. Saw an ad for the Eagles tribute band, The Long Rung for tonight and got tickets for me and my beautiful date. OMG. The band was awesome! The sound is really good there so the music isn't distorted and obnoxious like a lot of the bars nearby. They have a lot of tribute bands appearing throughout the year for Heart, Journey, Bob Jovi, Fleetwood Mac and many others. The fish and chips are ridiculously tasty. We got on their email list for future events we don't want to miss. read more

I was visiting from out of town and my friends and I took a drive to Cape Cabaret to see a Beatles tribute band called Liverpool Live. We were somewhat hesitant to go based upon some revenues of the venue. I can't speak towards the food served as we did eat prior to arriving. But we were all pleasantly surprised by the place. We were greeted by Jo who was nice and friendly & found us good seats. Then Brittany our waitress waited on us. She was fabulous!! Always checking on us & making sure we had everything we needed. The Beatles band was great. Especially because they were fun entertainers always engaging the audience. They were clearly having a blast and so were we. I don't understand all the bad reviews. While Cape Cabaret is dated it was a well run dinner entertainment experience for us. We enjoyed a good meal with 20% off between 5-6 pm with drinks and a fantastic band, Smokin' Aces. The food was good, served by a great waitress and staff. We met people and just had a great experience. We miss the club days when we could have a nice meal and be entertained. Now we've found it still exists! read more

Great night at Cape Cabernet attending an Eagles Tribute band show. The new chef of several months is bringing new choices and tastes to the dinner menu. Tonight's appetizer special was a multi-layer tort, combining baby shrimp, avocado and mashed Yukon gold potatoes. A compact, flavor filled delight! The entree special we had was a large prime rib that was juicy but unfortunately tougher than we hoped for. The tribute band is named "Long Run", and were full of energy for two sets and the encore. Three guitarists were enjoying playing all the favorites, trading intense rifts. A bassist with a great voice sounded like Glenn Frey signing the hits like Hotel California.
