If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Wouldn't let me get tags or my belongings even after I signed a waiver allowing my insurance company to pick it up. Both my insurance company and my attorney were shocked by thos practice and assured me it was not the normal practice for tow companies they have dealt with. Horrible service. I had a very rude ederly tow truck driver coming to fix my gear shift on my jetta. He called me and said he was in the front when i told him to go around back he hollared at me and hung up. He told me to move my car when i told him i couldn't i got my keys he yanked them out of my hand. and tried to move it. He then told me he couldn't do it because my car was in a tight space. I couldn't hear him at first he said the keys were on the car. i said I'm sorry can you repeat that? He then shouted at me aggressively KEYS ARE ON THE CAR!!! i was cool about it told him to have a nice day sir. He was very impatient lazy incompetent and entiled seemed to not be knowledgeable about vehicles probably needed a new pair of disposable briefs. I am never using this service again completely unprofessional. I am disgusted. read more

I had a car towed there (I didn't get to choose). I was trying to get the car off of the lot. It was totaled but still mechanically sound. They offered to give an extreme low ball, insultingly low, offer to buy the car for scrap. I looked at other sites that offered at least 4x their offer. The tow truck from another company was delayed due to snow. Even though we couldn't get the car from the lot they kept charging storage fees. I would recommend looking elsewhere to get a car towed. read more

Stay away. This company blackmailed me. I need a towing truck in time to upload a car into a container a few hundert feet away from this company. Selena from the front office and I confirmed on a price of $150.00. An hour before they should arrive I got a phone call from an unknown number and he told me if I do not pay $250.00 they wont appear and that I than not able to load the container. While loding my Corvette fell almost on the ground because of some rotten lumber they used under the wheels. DONT TRUST THEM, DONT HIRE THEM. THEY BELONG IN JAIL! Thomas was so helpful! My car was disabled at Walmart in Golden Ring, and I called Geico to help, and they said Blake's was the assigned company. Lo and behold, a tow truck from Blake's was parked behind me in the parking lot!! I waited for the driver to come out of the store and explained my situation. Although he was already off and another truck was assigned by the dispatcher, Thomas helped me anyway. He took my car 23 miles away to my dealership late at night and left the keys in the drop box. Horrible place. They DEFINITELY steal from you. They capitalize off of people almost losing their lives in accidents and having to have their vehicles taken to their establishment. I personally went there to let them know how disgusting they are for treating people this way (stealing their items). The person I assumed was the piss poor manager told me there is a sign that says not responsible for lost or stolen items. So is this how you protect yourselves to continue to take from people??. Don't let the fact that the police utilize their services fool you and don't let Baltimore county call them. Tell them to call anyone but them, you have a choice. If your car is taken to Blake's, considering the consistency of their Yelp reviews; there is a 99% chance something will be stolen out of your vehicle during or before the tow back to the yard. If you call their office, they will literally tell you to come in so they can point to their sign that says "we are not responsible for items inside your car". Thieves!! My car was involved in an accident. Baltimore county police contacted Blake's Towing which was 2 blocks away. Vehicle was hooked up and taken to their fenced-in yard. The next morning we went to clean out the car and all the change and chargers were gone. When I asked to speak to the driver, they wouldn't provide his name and pointed to a sign that they weren't responsible for anything missing. They had custody of the car from the scene, took it to their locked yard and wouldn't provide the drivers name. I now have to get legal. read more
