Caught driver stealing items out of my truck. He didn't realize i had a dash camera. Let the owner know and they made him return the items.

Dispatcher was very confused about where to pick me up - should've been easy as I gave them the interstate number and milepost. They were asking for things like nearest intersection, landmarks, and coordinates. Truck interior was filthy and smelly. Driver was tailgating cars, a sensitive subject as the reason I needed a tow was that I was just rear ended. When dropping off my car the driver backed up too far, so he couldn't roll my car all the way off the bed. Instead of taking a minute to pull forward and start over he shimmied my car off the bed, jiggling it and pushing it with the bed, dropping the skid plate of the car on the bed in the process and damaging it. read more

I had my car towed from my place of work to my dealership they were amazing. They called me right away to let me know they are picking up my car and kept me informed throughout the process until it arrived at the shop I was having it towed to, then I called to see if I could meet the tow truck driver and he agreed when I arrived the driver was friendly and very helpful. It was a joy dealing with this company. Usually no one has fun or enjoyment out of having their vehicle towed but this company and the driver were so friendly and just overall helpful it was a good experience all around! Was referred by state farm for towing. Waited 2 hours, and they never showed up or called. Apparently they notified state farm that the vehicle wasn't able to be put into neutral to tow. Well I wasn't exactly going to leave the key in my vehicle for any random person to help themself to it. read more

Terrible customer service, they had me on hold several times for more than 10 min. They also could locate my vehicle for over an hour. And I was just on the 895S which isnt even 10 min from this so called establishment. It's in your best interest to avoid using the company !!! read more

My friends just got stuck at Royal Farms on Fleet Street... She was fussing because she had just gotten the car repaired a few weeks back from this issue ... The steering column doesn't recognize the key and goes into safe mode which means it won't move ... Nissan is aware of the issue but said its outside of the warranty ... The Curtis tow truck driver came and saved the day ... He showed her & her hubby how to override the issue ... They are back on the road & didn't have to be towed thanks to him ... They are headed back to the dealership tomorrow to fix the issue yet again ... Way to go with above & beyond service ... Request for a tow thru my auto insurance and these guys were dispatched, other than the guy constantly scratching his crotch like he had crabs everything went well. Truck was towed to the dealer as requested, Acura did my repair and test drive to confirm satisfaction and notice truck wouldn't stop. Upon further inspection my rear brake cable was stretched out of the housing, the idiot pulled my vehicle on the flatbed with the e-brake on. After an extra $600 for the dealer to fix that problem, I requested to be reimbursed and the declined saying not enough evidence. I only do my service at acura, I literally had an oil change the week prior with no write up about the brake issue it wasn't even told for that issue. Fucking get over and I requested for progressive to not use them as well. read more

I had a tire blow out on 95, my tire was shredded. Called State Farm for towing assistance and Curtis Auto Service was who picked me up. John was great, he called to verify my location and he picked me up almost 20 minutes before end of the pick up window. I had a great experience and he was able to get my van positioned for the easiest possible way for the tire guys. read more

My 2014 Ford Escape decided not to turn over after I had been parked for an hour and when I was 20 miles from home. I called Geico who called Curtis Auto for a jump start. They stated that they would be to me within 20 minutes. Do you know when they showed up - within 20 minutes. The driver, Chuck, was awesome. He jump started my car and agreed that my battery had died. I called a couple of places to find out how much a battery would be and he actually called a place as well for me. The battery in my vehicle is not easily removed/replaced as it is halfway under the hood and not easily accessible. I ultimately went to NTB who allowed me to drive in an hour before they closed and replaced it. Terrible!!! DO NOT call them! My roadside assistance sent them to me to change a flat. the guy didn't put the lugnuts on properly and 3 weeks late my tire FELL OFF MY CAR! it was hanging on by 2 lugnuts and i drove my car off the highway. Thank God i wasn't hurt and didn't wreck into anyone else. I had to replace all 5 bolts and nuts and it cost me about $200.00 (thanks to the Midas in Owings Mills, MD). I did call Curtis to maybe have them fix it, so i didn't have to file a damage report w my roadside assistance, and the guy was mean and short and insisted it wasn't their fault. do your self a favor and avoid this place! read more

Extremely rude!!!! I had to use their towing service 2 times in one week. The first guy was very pleasant and helpful. The second time I had it towed the driver didn't call to tell me he was here and when I tried to get his attention he blew me off. I was trying to tell him I could move the car parallel parked in front of me to make it easier for him to get to my car and he was nasty to me. When I called Curtis to make a complaint the man on the phone was also unbelievably rude and had horrible customer service. Their company as a whole has truly offended me and I will never use their service again. read more
