This is my second oil change with Valvoline the first one was at the north Chester location. They…read moreoverfilled my oil, resulting in a check engine. Light coming on and me having to go through their service department to have it corrected. While on vacation, when I called them to let them know that there was an issue with the oil change. They very quickly let me know they don't handle complaints and gave me a number to call the staff that corrected it at the Valvoline, and a whole mother city were super nice and gracious about it. The ones that called me from the original location. We're definitely not that I just finished getting my oil change from The Columbus location. I have an aftermarket mud guard. They failed to install or reinstall the cover correctly, resulting in it popping loose. While I was driving so now I get to put my car up on Jack's and correctly put the cover on assuming that it dragging. After coming loose, then damage it to where I won't be able to reinstall.It won't be going to valvoline ever again

Time got away from me but not by much i come in to see if they are still willing to reimburse and i brought the part just to show the situation and he says they will actually order it for me and give me a call. a week later no call i go in and ask for Bryan the original person i talked too, on lunch. he wasn't there the last time i was there earlier. Ask for someone higher to hopefully figure out what is going on and the guy tells me to just buy the replacement myself and bring in the receipt and he would reimburse me. LORD okay let me go do that the next day. And then when i come in for the reimbursement was the best interaction in the whole experience. Not sure what the guys name was but was helpful, quick. Keep him at the front please that's who should be running the counter.

It indeed was not busy and I was thankful as I have a toddler and 7 month old. I needed an oil change, and they asked if I wanted to stay in or get out and said it would be about 15 minutes. I opted to stay put as my 7 month old had just fallen asleep and I didn't want to wake her up. I had a fan and water to keep her cool and my toddler as well. Well they get started and 15 minutes go by.. then 30.. then 45. Finally one of the employees tells me that they broke the cap and had to replace it but they were out of stock at that location. I was frustrated as I hadn't planned on being there that long and especially since I had my kids in the back. If they would have told me what had happened when it did, I would have taken them out and went inside. They proceed to tell me that they wouldn't get the part for 2 hours (I got there at 3). They let us all get out of the car and into the waiting area. They ended up being able to find a part that fit and so it didn't take an additional 2 hours. I was there for an hour maybe a little more. The employees were professional but the fact that they waited to tell me and on top of having my littles with me in the heat for that long was not cool. I guess next time I'll just take my kids out just in case that ever happens again.. overall I'm not sure I'd go back here. Wanted to clarify it wasn't about the part being broken more so that they waited to tell me and had me and my kids in the heat longer than necessary.
