I was driving from Merced to Las Vegas when something told me I should stop and get my oil changed. When I pulled into another shop, they told me they couldn't do the oil change because my car had an active coolant leak. At that point, I was in Bakersfield, hours away from home and still hours away from my destination. As a woman traveling alone, I was honestly scared and worried that something was seriously wrong with my car. Thankfully, I found this shop. David took the time to listen to what was going on and immediately wanted to help. Even though they were busy, he understood my situation and didn't just treat me like another customer. He genuinely cared. That meant a lot to me, especially being so far away from home and not knowing what was wrong with my car. After taking a look, they found that my radiator cap was broken and causing the leak. They replaced it, and just like that, the problem was solved. The relief I felt in that moment was huge. What I thought might turn into a major repair ended up being a simple fix because of their honesty and willingness to help. What really stood out to me, though, was the kindness. David even called me the next day to make sure I had made it safely to my destination. That simple gesture meant so much and showed me that he truly cares about the people who walk through his doors. It's not every day you come across genuinely good people, and this shop is full of them. I am beyond grateful for everyone who helped me that day. Absolute Legends! Nothing less to say. Called about 3:30pm on road trip after discovering my…read morealternator failing. My journey was to pick up my grandfathers old el Camino, and tow it back home. So I needed my 4Runner in tip top shape. Called Firestone, they wouldn't do it last minute, called Pep Boys, put me on hold. Called a few more shops that didn't have the part, couldn't get it on time, an declined to install a customer purchased part (despite buying it from the same auto parts supply stores they use). Called Eye Street... they said, no problem! Encouraged us to grab the part, as it was near end of day and they were worried it wouldn't arrive on time if they ordered it. Showed up about 4pm and they were super positive, confirmed our problem was the alternator, took us in, and got to work. Amazing guys, we shared stories while we hung out and waited with our dog, and ultimately got the job done. Super appreciative of genuine people who are willing to go the extra mile. At the end of the day, I don't expect a business to stay late or be inconvenienced due to our plans.
