Im kinda not sure how to feel about this place, the first interaction i had with a guy named Bryan was a little stiff we can get past that cause whatever everyone has days, they put the tires on and call me over to get my truck and the broke a hub cap no biggie she's old it happens they offer to replace it if i bring a receipt, the guy told me he would do it up to like a month or 2 and just bring in the receipt . Time got away from me but not by much i come in to see if they are still willing to reimburse and i brought the part just to show the situation and he says they will actually order it for me and give me a call. a week later no call i go in and ask for Bryan the original person i talked too, on lunch. he wasn't there the last time i was there earlier. Ask for someone higher to hopefully figure out what is going on and the guy tells me to just buy the replacement myself and bring in the receipt and he would reimburse me. LORD okay let me go do that the next day. And then when i come in for the reimbursement was the best interaction in the whole experience. Not sure what the guys name was but was helpful, quick. Made an appointment on-line and entered vehicle info for my 2021 Sierra AT4 and specified make and model for for 4 new tires, oil change, brake inspection, and alignment service. Showed up for my appointment 4 days later, and they don't have my specified tires. Agree to a difference set that have to be transferred in town. Manager explains that they will do the oil change, alignment and brakes while I'm waiting and quotes a 2.5 hour time frame. 3.5 hours later, All that got done was the tires and brakes, still waiting for oil to be delivered because they don't have the specific oil for my vehicle. Unfortunately they drained my oil so I can't leave. Cancelled my alignment service. I may die here. Roxanne and Jonah, I love and miss you guys. read more

They are nice enough. Called me when it was done. My left front bumper is damaged. The guy said something to me when I picked it up. I was fully aware of this. But when I got home and looked, the bumper is practically pulled off now. Something happened in the shop. I called & they said that's how it was. Yeah. No it wasn't. Why do people do stuff like this? If you messed up, why not own it? I've always owned my mistakes. It happens..... If you've got any damage to your car, I'd be sure to take photos before I left it with them. I'm SOL & now need immediate repair on this. Ugh And the 29.99 coupon for a partial synthetic oil change? Yeah-they don't even do the partial anymore. Big O Tires had replaced the rear brakes and drums on my 2011 Honda Civic. About a week later, I was out driving. I noticed that when I put on the brakes, the dash/brake light would occasionally come on. I checked the brake fluid when I got home. The brake fluid thing was dry, I was shocked. I took my car back to Big O. They bled and replaced the brake fluid at no charge. They told me the reason the brake fluid was empty, was because there was air in the brake line? So, apparently they didn't bleed the brakes when they replaced them. I probably won't be taking my car there again. read more

Went In because one of my tires had a nail. They said they'd fix it, so I was waiting for 40 minutes. At the end the said it was fixed and I left. A few days later I see/ notice the nail still in my tire because my tire pressure light came on still. Not sure what they did with my car for those 40 minutes but the specific thing I needed, did not even get fixed, waste of time. read more

In the early evening at the top of the Grapevine on my way up to the Sierras, my oil pressure alert went off. This shop was not only open after other shops had closed, but they quickly checked out my car to confirm there were no oil leaks (while juggling a few other urgent traveler's car repairs), then filled up the oil and gave me extra oil jugs in case I needed them on my trip. (Apparently Jiffy Lube in LA didn't put oil in after they changed my oil 2 days before). When I went to check out they just gave me my keys and didn't charge me. So grateful! read more

So my wife had a screw in her vehicles tire, I wasn't doing much Sunday so decided to take it to the closest shop to us, just so happened to be big O tires on ming. Get there he said 1hour due to them busy. So I said ok. It's been a hour and thirty minutes and the vehicle is still sitting in the same parking spot with absolutely no update from the individual in the front. Needless to say I still have a screw in the tire. Wasted two hours a for being lazy and not taking a drive to the east side where the tire shops will fix it in 30 mins and half the price. Brought both my car in here and never got inspection report fir first car. I asked for inspection report because they never gave to me and said and they don't give out inspection reports per Omar. How do I know what is wrong or if everything was good with my car. I asked about my suspension when I got everything looked at with full oil service at 82.00. Went in again and even with an appointment I waited for 45 min just for the car to be looked at, only wondering why my car wasn't even touched. After asking about suspension and shimmy in steering wheel they said charges 39.99 just to look at. He said if you buy tires he will waive fee. They then proceeded to tell me I had to change all my tires before going any further. I said I need to know what else was wrong. He quoted me 90.00 a tire. I said if I buy two tires will the fee be waived? He said yes. I said ok, and he then said it would be 245.00. I can do the math! That's not 180.00. So he doesn't tell me the truth on anything. He charging 65.00 more than what he quoted me. He was not upfront and professional. When you tell me how much tires will be that is how much you need to charge. Not add the inspection fee and other fees on top of it. I would have bought the tires if he would have been honest and not try to deceive me. They lied to me and never gave me my paperwork for my first car. He stated he had to go through Waaaaaay toooo much paperwork! read more

This morning I took my truck in for a brake inspection and the estimated price was over 900 dls. The heavy set guy at the front desk stated I needed new rotors and breaks on my truck that only has 50,000 miles.. I asked one of the employees outside what was wrong with the breaks and he said it was just the breaks and gave me a much cheaper price. Please be careful and shop around before you decide where to go. I just took my truck to pacific tires and was told is just the breaks that need to be replaced at a under half the price of what this places was trying to charge me.... My car was slow to start. Sunday, of course, and nothing is open. I called Big O to ask if they checked batteries. They did. Told me to come right in. Young man checked my battery, told me it needed to be replaced and to check with the dealer to see if it was under warranty. He gave me the printout with my battery info. No charge. PLEASE SHOP AROUND BEFORE MOVING FORWARD WITH ANY QUOTE!!!!!! CHECK YOUR LOCAL PARTS STORE AND OTHER MECHANICS FIRST!!!!! I called to see how much an oil change was for a synthetic blend. They told me $89.99 but they have a $30 off coupon. I informed them that my car required an extra quart which I knew was going to cost me more. He said it was fine with the coupon I was still going to get a cheaper price. I also asked if they could take a look at the brakes and the the coolant because I could smell it more than usual. So the main objective was the oil change, brakes and the coolant. I was able to get a same day appointment which was awesome for 10:30am. When I arrived I noticed they have an award called the "2 million dollar club" and it had the year 2021 with 2.1 millions dollars made. I thought to myself that's odd, why would you want to display that. On the phone the guy was able to bring up my account with the car but when I got there, there was no account found, I told him the car I had and he was clueless. I don't even believe he knew I had an appointment but I get it, it's a long day for some. An hour and a half later the service guy informs me that the oil change was done but there was a crack in my radiator. He then tells me for an oil change, and air filter and to replace the radiator, the cost was going to be right under $1200. I was shocked! I asked how much the radiator was alone and he said about $500. I looked at AutoZone and saw they were only $280. When I told him about that he lowered it to about $390. Still not convinced about the price I asked if I could just bring the part in. He said yes but labor would be $780. Okay well whether I brought the part or not it was still going to be $1100-$1200. I politely said I'll pay for the oil change and come back with the part (I definitely lied) then he said well you can apply for the credit card and get 12 months interest free. I politely said no thank you but he proceeded to talk to me more about the credit card. I had to firmly tell him, money isn't the issue. He finally said well just trying to help out. I then told him i would come back and he said well I'll change you the $780 as the deposit. I said no thank you just the oil change. Then he asked okay but are you for sure coming back and I looked right at him and said yes knowing very well I wasn't! I called different mechanic shops that were local! The max I was going ti pay was $800. I ended up getting it replaced for a total of $600 with a lifetime warranty on the part. What a shame Big O. I'm glad my money didn't help you get to the 2 million dollar club and I hope others don't fall into your scheme. But please, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR A SECOND OPINION!!! Don't allow them to hold no deposit or anything. Look around! read more

My Tesla Model 3 tire was not holding air and they took me in right away and were very careful and gentle with my car. Two nails removed! They were considerate and repaired it in no time. My elderly mother bought tires from this shop. She has had multiple problems with the valve stems. Today she had to have her car towed in to get the tire fixed. She called in advance and asked if they would rotate and balance them which was part of the package when she bought the tires. She was told that they would. She just called me very upset because they told her the valve stem was fixed but they didn't have time to rotate and balance them and she needed to come pick up her car. They were very rude to her and got her very upset. They did not honor their word and did not do what they said they would do. Wow, where to start... I was on my way home to San Diego last Sunday and had pulled off the freeway to eat lunch when Wham, someone on a cell phone rear ended my car. I was in a strange town, with a badly damaged car and had no idea what to do. I asked a by stander if they knew of any repair shops open on Sunday and he said that Big O on Ming Ave. was just down the street. I drove a few blocks found Big O Tires and walked in. Tony was at the front and was Wonderful!!! He spoke to Francisco and as soon as a bay came open they got me in. With a little, okay maybe a lot, of imagination Francisco was able to get my muffler and exhaust back to where I was able to drive home. i hit a pot hole last month when passing thru and blew up my tire. it popped with a bang. bad luck it blew up. the good luck is i limped my car to big o tire without ruining my rim. they replaced the tire and i was back on the road home to bay area. cost wasn't any more expensive than in the cost of tire in bay area. fantastic news is i got the front end realigned and my car handled its new tire without any problems. read more

Been coming here the last couple of years for tire repairs and always treated very nicely and quickly .. today had to repair my flat their was no charge very nice of them .. and they put away my spare and lock up my tool thingies.. and also today they replaced my cabin air filter that I already had and didn't charge me either.. they go above and beyond to help the customer and it's very much appreciated .. will continue to go there for all my tire needs .. and FYI I did tip .. they work hard and it's only fair .. will recommend to anybody. read more
