I de-briefed Mel on Dexter's health (daily meds, arthritis, sensitive stomach) and daily exercise routine. She gave me a summary of what Dexter's day would look like if she were to watch him while we were away. Some dog sitters will shy away from caring for an elderly dog that needs more TLC, but not Mel. She was game, and we were thankful. She arrived on time, shooed us out the door, and sent us just the right amount of pupdates while we were away. We returned to a super clean house and a knackered dog who seemed sadder to see Mel go than happy to see us return home. Dexter's reaction to Mel leaving was confirmation for us that she was the right fit for Dexter and she would be our first choice for dog-sitting from now on. As a bonus, we've found a trusted person to watch over our house when we're away. It's a win-win. 10/10 stars!

I hadn't been here in a while. I think the last time they saw my dog was around Covid time. However, I think their service is very reasonably priced. I will also say I think they did a fun great job with my pup. Most places wanna charge you over $100 luckily this place was under 100 and it included the wash as well as a nail trim and she didn't look horrible after . I am glad they were able to take me in the lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely be going back here for Haircut for my pup.

They offered to reschedule for later that afternoon, which I appreciated. I asked if they would consider a small courtesy discount because of the inconvenience, and they declined. I was also told that the groomer would be grooming my dog for the first time, which I politely corrected because he had actually groomed my dog twice previously. The owner subsequently called me and told me I was being rude and canceled the rescheduled appointment. I was extremely disappointed by how the situation was handled. I was trying to address an inconvenience and find a reasonable resolution, not create a confrontation. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, I did not feel respected as a customer, and I will be taking my dog elsewhere.

I am writing this review in hopes that I can ease someone else's mind with the assurance from my own positive experience with Linda's petsitting services. She will pick your pet up and drop him or her off if need be. She will sit your pet in your home, your hotel accommodation, or at her own house up above Napa Valley. She's conveniently located near all of Napa's hotels, and is willing to drive if need be. She will follow feeding and walking instructions to the most minute detail, and I even saw her taking notes on her pad when I was giving her even the most basic instructions just to make sure she got them perfectly right. With all of this, she is also infinitely kind... and reasonably priced... and sweet. She will send you updates via text or email if you want, including a photo or two of how your pet is adjusting while you're gone. My little Keesh didn't just tolerate her time with Linda-- she had a great time as though she was on her own little vacation!
