A very knowledgeable young man answered my questions and showered my dog with love and affection that she totally enjoyed. Based on my positive experience I think that they will be my pet store of choice. The check out person was also very nice. It is nice to find a local store, even if they are a chain then to buy supplies from Amazon or Chewy.

Found a crate (a puppy den), a gate, a collar/harness/lead, and training treats. The treats, toys, food, and other supplies were all well-stocked. The employee at check-out was pleasant. The gate didn't work for us, so I went back a few days later to return it, and that was quick and easy. I definitely like to support the smaller local pet shops, but this was the right stop for a crate. Thanks!

Completely unprofessional and unsympathetic to the situation that was caused by them. What they did was the equivalent of giving away a newborn to the wrong family and telling them to just choose another one from the nursery. No, I want my child! Just horrible and callous. We fell in love with GiGi and we prepared to bring her into our lives and love her for years to come and now we are heartbroken and given a disingenuous apology and a snarky "get a different one."

But they have the best team and technology when it comes to cancer and other things. My dog's primary vet told me he has never had patient that survived their cancer treatment process. My brother in law brought his dog to UC Davis 5 years ago. He was diagnosed with mouth cancer. UC Davis cured him 5 years ago and they have never looked back. Dog is doing great now 5 years later. VCA would have just helped bring your dog to deaths door step. Not one good comment on here about the oncology program. That is because they ignore most call to the oncology department and never call you back. We need to get a group together and take legal matters on VCA. Message me if you have had a bad experience that made outcomes worse for your pet because of VCA. What they could improve? Have actual designated person to take calls and messages for the oncology department, also give more options than just pumping people pets full of drugs. UC Davis did a far better job. They did not just drug our pets so we wouldn't be able to tell there was something wrong.
