I have a medicare advantage plan through Paramount Elite which covers up to 12 visits for spinal adjustments. It is a $20 co-pay at the time of the appointment. The billing department failed to bill Paramount Elite Plan and instead sent the claim to Medicare directly. Medicare does not manage my health care services, Paramount Elite does. I explained this to the billing department, but they still sent the billing directly to medicare. I have now received a bill from Findlay Family Chiropractic Clinic for all of my visits for adjustments, minus my $20 co-pays per visit. The statements says, self billing because insurance did not pay. I called Paramount Elite and they told me, that I would not have to pay this bill because they cover those expenses. I am now looking for a different chiropractic doctor which will bill my Medicare Advantage Plan and NOT medicare directly! Sharon in the office was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Charlie taught me to walk without mechanical assistance again and recover my balance; Terri and Kelly helped me retrain my brain to remember things using assist tricks as minor as Post-It notes and lists, putting frequently used items (keys, shoes, purse, et cetera) in the same place every time so I'm not constantly searching for them and making myself and everyone around me nuts helping me find them over and over again. Erin is a lovely young woman with terrific nursing skills and is always looking for the less obvious issues I'm having and helping me to fix them. Then there's Stu (aka Stuh). Stu's job with me is to help me retrain some of the pathways in my brain between the optic nerve and the rest of my brain. I have had vision issues since the surgeries and delay in recognition of what I should be seeing and responding more quickly to. The goal is to be able to drive again and be more independent. We're not there yet, but almost. Barring something odd, it shouldn't be that much longer before we reach that independence goal. Last, but certainly not least, is Colleen. She is not only an administrator overseeing all the PTs, she's been hand's-on with me from Day One. If I have a question or concern she always (and I do mean always) makes herself available to me. I know I'm not the only person to receive the largesse of her time and knowledge...She takes care of everyone with competence and humor. I think Kelly should be included here as well. She leads the OTs and, like Colleen, she is hands-on with me and is seriously funny, too. Neither of these professional women are paper-pushers. They interact directly with their clients and are willing to go as far as necessary to make sure their clients' needs are met and that the appropriate caregiver is matched to the appropriate client as much as humanly possible. It's easier to just talk with aid directly to avoid confusion. Also the staff should act more professional not arguing or interrupting clients on phone. They dont seem to know what's going on. Why would you schedule an aide when the client isn't home? Most clients especially regulars see many healthcare providers. They need to schedule what works for the provider not the aid. If hours don't work for an aide find an aide that will be available. Don't tell the client they can not attend important appointments that they wait months for just because 1aid doesn't want to wake up early. Also saying that the client needs to go with the times they have available and if that doesn't work then to go without them or use a different agency after they agreed to take you.

There were no patients there when I arrived and they left me sitting in a patient room with nausea fighting back vomiting for over an hour after they took my swabs for COVID and flu testing. I only heard one other patient while I was there. They got really hurried to help me get out of there when I finally had to leave the exam room to find the toilet to take a puke. Find somewhere else to get care if it is at all urgent, because nobody who works here gives a flying flock.

Jeremy from this company was the consult that visited me while I was incarcerated in Marion, OH. He…read moreprovided a leg that had a good foot, however the socket didn't fit. My leg couldn't squeeze into it. I informed him of this when he made it, and he told me to jam my leg into the socket. I was in incredible pain and couldn't walk more than a couple feet before being in tears. Jeremy said my pain is not real, and he has the training and experience. So I spent most of my time in a wheelchair. I've been an amputee since 2015 and I can run a 5k in 27 minutes. I've never had or used a wheelchair until Jeremy became my forced places prosthesis provider. There were six other lower limb amputee's at my camp, Jeremy provided us all prosthesis, however we were all confined to wheelchairs from poor socket fitments. I'm now at Hanger Clinic getting a much needed solution from the nightmare Jeremy put me through. What I like most about Hanger is that they listen to me, if something is uncomfortable or painful they take my word for it, and make adjustments that allow me to walk and be active in comfort.
