I was pulled over around 630pm and state cop seen my tire had steel belt showing so they called Blanchard down to take me to tire shop, the cop then noticed I had hole in my floor so it had to get impounded. I'm handicapped and had a major surgery I had to be at in Boston at 6am and I was over 3 hours away after working a 12 hour day. once I found out it was going to the impound I asked to get my tools and my deceased fathers watch he got at 16 years old as well as my glasses and my brand new winter boots with yak tracks because I had my l5 vertebrae split in half hence why I was gonna have the surgery and I was going to be in rehab for 6-8 weeks recovering from the surgery. Blanchard told me they would ship everything back to me except my tools in which we could arrange for a co-worker of mine to pick up as we work up in Maine very often. I shipped them the title to my car and then they refused to ship me anything at all even though I was going to pay for the shipping. after they got the title they basically took everything for themselves including my tools in which many were my dead fathers such as my drill and a drill bit kit that included every type of bit for security type screws. the owners son ended up laughing at me and mocked me laughing cuz I said I'll find a way to come up and he started laughing staring "you're in a rehab for up to 8 weeks so it'll all be gone by time you get out". to know someone would make a deal to take ownership of my car knowing I am handicapped and have very limited resources just so they could steal everything I had in my car including my fathers vintage gold watch after guaranteeing me they would give me all my things especially things my dead father gave to me is something that's been eating at me so bad as my father worked very hard in his life to take care of my 4 older half brothers that weren't even his and didn't have much to leave to me when he died just so a towing company would steal it all after tricking me to give them the title is just so wrong. I was hit by 4 negligent drivers that already took everything from me as each time I had major injuries requiring many surgeries to point I could never go back to my original career as a lineman and here I was working part time with my L5 vertebra split in half and a half paralysed left arm working like this many years just to save up enough to have this spinal surgery with up to a year long recovery time just to have a tow company take all I had left which also included my dogs blanket in which I had to put him down February 2023 at 14 years old.. to be denied of such things and have them stolen then laughed at.. well it has caused me severe depression as I can't help but feel no matter how hard I try there will be someone that will take anything that has such importance to me. I still haven't even been able to replace my glasses cuz I can't work and on a very fixed income. I'm just so broken down mentally and physically knowing I couldn't even hold onto my fathers watch he got when graduated from military in late 50s. In short Blanchard seen a handicapped person with severe disabilities just trying to keep standing and functioning and they decided to take literally all I had left except my clothes knowing I lived over 3 hours away and after my surgery it would be incredibly difficult for me to do anything about it. This has caused me to go into a severe depression to point I fear driving cuz if I get hit again and end up in hospital then a towing company can just take my wallet and credit cards and use up anything I have left so I can even eat. Im not even allowed to keep a simple family heirloom if I get towed. The owners own son is the one who towed me and made the deal with me then stole everything I had of any value in my car. read more

My wife and I were traveling on I95 South pulling our 30 foot travel trailer when the leaf spring on our trailer broke when we hit a bad bump. We called AAA but they were unable to help because the trailer couldn't be towed since the broken suspension was causing the wheel to rub against the inner fender and they couldn't find anyone with a large enough flat bed truck. We called several business and found the same problem and repair shops told us even if we got the trailer to them they couldn't get to us for at least a week. Finally the Highway Patrol called Chris and he came out right away. He assessed the situation and decided to remove the wheel that was rubbing the trailer due to the broken leaf spring and had us tow it off the highway with only the second axel functional on that side. He directed us to a shopping center where we parked the trailer. He met us there, removed the broken spring and replaced it with a new one within an hour. Unfortunately, we also discovered a broken spring bracket on the other side so Chris had to call a mobile welder to fix that. While he was there he replaced the spring on that side too and got us on our way the next morning. He would have had us on our way within hours had we not had to wait for the welder. The price for all that service and parts was probably less than we would pay if I took it to a shop and had the work done there. We are very grateful to Chris for getting us back on the road so quickly. read more
