I have had many bad experiences with dentist and have developed a phobia for dentist and needles. I have been treated and comforted here that has helped me overcome these issues. I've been a patient of Gary Klugman for at least 25 years. His patients' comfort and peace of mind always come first. He has seen me on a Saturday morning to take care of fix-it-or-kill-me-now tooth pain; his wife and head go-to woman, Ginnie, cleaned away 5 years of plaque and neglect without me feeling a wince of irritation. I take my teeth seriously and Ginny and Gary Klugman run the best dental office in Salinas. I've been with them forever and absolutely LOVE Ginny. She is one of the best dental hygienists in the state and has been recognized as such. As our schedules sometimes do not mesh, I needed to see another hygienist for my recent visit and it was INCREDIBLE. While there office is immaculate and loaded with amenities, I don't think I've ever had a better teeth cleaning. The hygienist is Candy. I think I may start asking to see to her every visit! LOL. yesterday I had to have a 6 hour dental procure. I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. I can not say enough about the staff here. they were so amazing awesome. so sweet, caring and comforting. I did have it done under iv sedation. and they all sat with me and said such calming things and we're there for every need that I had. I'm a nurse and make an absolutely horrible patient. from Dr Klugman to all the other staff. they offered me a pillow, blanket and TV to distract me while I was being prepared for my procedure. they were extremely calming and talked me through every aspect of my procedure. I have been there a couple times prior to yesterday for xrays and what not. 5 star service every time. highly recommend! thank you to all the blanco circle drive employees to help make a horrible situation for me tolerable! read more

Blanco Circle Dental Care is simply the best in the area. As a local attorney with a brother who is a dentist in Louisiana I know a little about the profession and professionalism. I came to the office by referral from my son who has an aversion to needles. I had a terrible experience with this practice, they are really scam artists. Can not believe anything they tell you, all matters is how much money they can get off you by lying and delaying treatment. My recommendation is do not believe anything they tell you and check out everything with someone else. Actually go to someone else if you can. I just want to say THANK YOU to Blanco Dental for always treating me and my family like people. I am a big believer that quality is in the details and these guys really get it. The Staff is phenomenal; attentive and on top of their game... always very professional. When I was young, a dentist shattered a molar in my mouth and I can still recall the pain that went on for months. I never wanted to go back, I never wanted to see another dentist again but Blanco Circle Dental does so much to make you feel relaxed and cared for, your anxieties will be long gone. This place is FANTASTIC. I worked with an incredible staff team. I met Yesenia the front desk representative who was helpful and in high spirits ! Waiting area was pleasant with coffee and interesting pictures to look at. Antonio was the dentist assistant whom I also had the pleasure of meeting, he has so much respect and great conversations and is very attentive, he made sure I felt safe and confortable with every step of the process and let me know what he was doing before he did it as I put down on my checklist when I initially came in that I would prefer which means these professionals actually read charts and follow through with what clients request! Dr Raissi did my fillings (before my crowns) stable and was very professional throughout the whole process!! Dr Raissi did a GREAT JOB and last but not leastttt was the fabulous Dr Hajdari who was SO knowledgeable and discussed everything properly and perfectly and went over the process of my crowns with visuals as well. There was no question he wasn't able to answer and the outcome of Dr Hajdari's job on my two front teeth was PHENOMENAL I've never felt more confident with my teeth and to make it even better for the first time in 10 years I have no sensitivity or pain with my teeth!!! I've been a patient of this dental group for over 16 years. After a horrific experience with another dentist in town, Dr. Klugman and his team made it possible for me to have a comfortable experience with the minimum amount of pain and anxiety. I have traveled from near and far to see the team here and have been mostly happy over the years with the work done. My issue always seems to be with the front desk... Whether it is lost insurance information or billing issues, there never seems to be a "hassle free" experience with the front. My last visit was this past week. The front desk seems to have newer folks and have a style which I'm not comfortable with. The first issue was with all the legal paperwork including the legal disclaimers and acknowledgements - Instead of providing the full set of form hard copy to me, the front desk person (I don't recall her name) verbally shared a brief overview of what I was agreeing to and then asked me to sign. I've never experienced this before. Every other doctor (of any kind) usually hands you a stack of documents to read so that they (and you as the patient) have confidence that the patient understands and has consented to treatment and what the doctor will do if the patient is unable to make a decision. This is especially important to me since I'm usually sedated for my treatments. I won't even go into details on all the errors on the forms I did finally see, since it may not be their fault. Apparently they have a program that does all the documents, but seriously... every page had a grammar and spelling errors, or omissions of words. The second issue was the request for a 50% payment without having pre-authorized anything with my insurance (my insurance is supposed to cover 70-80% of the cost of major items). For a normal cleaning or something simple, this would not bother me, but this was a major item (over $1300 was the estimate for a crown) and the appointment had been booked for a few months. A pre-authorization for the work would have been appreciated, given they had sufficient time to get this done in advance. In terms of service from the rest of the staff, I've mostly had good experiences with them. I'm a pretty anxious patient and really can't stand the sound of the drill. If I could get over that, it would be great to not have to travel so far to see the dentist. Overall, given the choice and considering the distance I have to travel (a few hours each way), and my annoyance with the front desk/billing team, I'd change if I could find someone closer to me who could provide the same service and deal with my anxiety. read more

Today was my first appointment at Blanco Circle Dental., I was very pleased since my appointment setting. Sam was very nice and profesional and was able to accommodate me in such a short notice. At the time of my visit I was a bit nervous because it had been quite a bit that I had visited a dental practice but Rosie my hygienist and Priscilla made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff is really friendly and professional! I had a dental exam and teeth cleaning. I was treated with patience and it didn't feel rushed. Dentist explained findings and I was given opportunity to ask questions. They also made sure i didn't leave the office with anything on my face and was given a damp cloth to clean face (really liked this gesture). read more

Was being charged for a piece I didn't have! This used to be a great place to get work done! Not so much lately.

I have had quite a bit of work done here. Even after his legal issue I elected to continue using him as I felt that he was highly skilled and one of the few dental professionals that offered sedation dentistry. It's quite expensive for this type of work but if you hate the dentist as much as I do and your nerves are sensitive it's worth every penny. You come around after the work and ask when will he be starting just to find out he's done! I've had four crowns and one filling and in every case the work went well. I can only hope that he gets through the legal issue with his reputation somewhat intact. Additionally just make sure you go over the charges carefully with the staff so you are not surprised at the bill. Not that they try to overcharge but just to be prepared when you're finished. read more

My mom was in a bind with the insurance, and needed a script refilled for a mouthwash, they would not do it with out a visit. $$$ for them no help for her. The insurance re-ups in two months. As a long time client and elderly person they could and should have done this courtesy. Just go's to show how nice people are when you have money. What happened to helping people. The script is covered is covered but a visit is not. It mouthwash that she has already had and not sold over the counter. Just because I said we needed to find a dentist that also takes denta-cal, and Humana. They don't won't to help just your money. Thanks Sara for sure now we won't be back. read more

My first dentist ever when I was a child was Dr. Gary Klugman. I moved to Sacramento for college years ago and have visited several other dentists since. I have had horrible experiences with the other dentists and should have never left Dr. Klugman's care. I decided to go back to Dr. Klugman recently even though I still live in Sacramento. That was one of the best decisions I have made for my health. The girls at the front desk are super helpful and informative. Rosie was my dental hygienist and I just adore her!! She was so accommodating and kind and I actually had fun at the dentist! Who knew?! I had a full exam and then scheduled a deep gum cleaning. I have since had the deep cleaning, and although it hurt a bit, Rosie made it as painless as possible & was super gentle. My teeth are looking and feeling fantastic thanks to Blanco Circle Dental Care:) Thank you so much and I will NEVER go to another Dentist again!! read more
