This is a nice Mexican restaurant in a nice strip mall. The menu is pretty standard with most of the expected items. The one thing a little missing is fish. I had the carne asada burrito. It comes with red sauce along with rice and beans. Wow, this is a really hearty plate -- if you're not full after eating all of this ... I would say the burrito is about average -- I've had better and worse. Despite the red sauce I found it a little dry. I think the tortilla was pretty thick and a little dry. And I didn't love the flavor of the red sauce. The service was very friendly and good. The prices were very reasonable, particularly considering how much they give you. Overall, a pretty good standard Mexican place. Nothing special, but not bad.

Great spot to check out for drinks and food! There are nearby stores like Macy's, Sephora, and Lululemon so you can shop before or after. We checked in with the host and were seated right away on a Friday around 3pm. The space is decorated with frames and very colorful pieces which was cool. Our server brought complimentary chips and salsa which were a great way to start our visit. For drinks, I ordered the frozen mango margarita and it was really good! We shared the spicy mango ceviche which was fresh and a good appetizer to share. I had the cheese enchiladas which come with rice and beans. The cheese was a little on the salty side but overall still good.

Busy restaurant on a Saturday night. A 40-minute wait for a party of four without a reservation, so to the bar we went! Bad thing, TV's were not working during March Madness (one star loss.) Friendly, nice bartender who took good care of us. Margaritas were just ok. Week so switched to beer. Good selection.of beers on tap. Chips and salsa were good. Not great, but good. Two taco with rice and beans combo was good. Carnitas and Birria, both very tasty. Would return but not for the margaritas.

I had a short rib machaca burrito delivered. Boy, this burrito was packed with meat, so much so that I have some leftover for tomorrow! The burrito has great flavor but I tend to like some crunch, like cabbage, with it. I did feel like I got my money's worth based on the heft of the meat, though. I was disappointed with the small little bit of guacamole that comes with it and that it had already turned dark! Glad I didn't order additional guacamole if it was not going to be fresh! There was also wilted cilantro on the top of my burrito. Tip: eat at the restaurant! Don't have it delivered! I've had other meals at the restaurant that were great!

This restaurant is really good and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for some good food to eat! I have been here three times already and each time the service is quick fast and efficient. Highly recommend for anyone wanting some good comfort food and a very chill atmosphere, definitely will be coming back!

Blanco Cocina + Cantina is a casual Mexican spot located in Biltmore Fashion Park. I went in a bit skeptical since the Houston location closed. The atmosphere is lively and colorful, with plenty of space for groups or grabbing drinks before dinner. The service was friendly and attentive. The Paloma was refreshing and tasty. The salsa, however, was underwhelming and lacked flavor. The fish tacos were very tasty, and the rice was rich and buttery. The elote was extremely creamy but still delicious.

The place is so beautiful and classy. The staff was so nice and friendly. The foods were pretty good. The desserts are delicious. It's must try when you're here. The only thing negative that you have to wait so long for the food even at that time restaurant was not really busy much.

Headed over to Blanco after Yappy Hour and it did not disappoint. The server was very friendly and personable, she even shared a picture of her own pup with us! Super cute! I ordered the warm queso to start, and I was totally not reading and didn't notice that it came with avocado on it so I did have to send it back because I'm allergic but they were very accommodating and brought me a new one, avocado free! The queso was delicious. The real star of the show though was The Tucson Chimichanga which we ordered with the Short Rib Machaca and Enchilada Style! It was also accompanied by rice and beans. The entire thing was soooo yummy. My dog even got his own side of grilled chicken which he absolutely devoured in no less than 30 seconds (LOL). I also ordered a cocktail, the Mango Stand (blanco tequila, spiced mango, chamoy rim). I'm not typically a mango flavor kind of gal but the server recommended it so I went with it. It wasn't bad at all but maybe not one I would get again. The next time I'm at the biltmore fashion park I will definitely be checking out Blanco again to try more delicious menu items.

This was a fun, vibey and delicious Mexican food spot in the trendy Biltmore district of Phoenix! I came here with colleagues on a business trip, and the place did not disappoint. They accommodated our large group and were able to split the bill for us, including a handy pay by phone option. I ordered a specialty margarita, the strawberry and mandarine one, which was super flavorful and delicious. It was just the right amount of strong. The server brought over fresh chips and salsa for the table, which was much appreciated. I ordered the steak fajitas, which came out smoking on a sizzling platter. I was impressed that all of my food was still hot, including the beans on the side considering we were part of a large group. The ambiance was fun with lots of cool art on the wall and pretty light fixtures all around. Over all, I'd come back for sure!

I really wanted to like this place and since it's at the Biltmore Fashion Square, I thought we would have a better time but it was a complete letdown. Weather was perfect and I met a girlfriend here after trying another place that was closed on Sunday. Sometimes shotgun decisions are good and other times like this, it is a disappointment. The space is really nice and we opted to sit outside. I will say the ambiance is nice here, so if that's what you're looking for, come here. What was very odd about our experience is that the place was almost deserted on a Sunday but it felt like the waiter wanted to get us out as quickly as possible. He made the experience pretty unenjoyable and I won't be returning. He kept rushing us to order drinks, and couldn't catch a clue that we were talking. He would leave and when he returned, it was like 2 minutes later. He couldn't pick up on cues and almost forgot to get my girlfriend's drink order. He then kept asking us if we wanted to start with an appetizer and kept suggesting guacamole and chips and when we didn't respond, he then said, "oh ok, just chips and salsa." He also forgot to bring a spicier salsa for my girlfriend even though they just went thru their spicy preferences. I wanted a quesadilla and it wasn't on the menu but he told me that they just turn their crisps into quesadillas. J got the poblano and cheese one, asked if they have mushrooms to add and he said they got rid of it. He also then mentioned they got rid of a dish that has sweet potatoes. Food came out quick, no complaints on the food, but nothing to write home about either. Just your average Mexican food. He then came back on the two bite check in but it literally felt like he came back right when our dishes were dropped off. He then kept asking if we wanted boxes when it was clear we were chatting and grazing slowly on our food. And then kept hounding us about our checks. Lets just say that the service made this place really not fun. It was a Sunday and no one was in the restaurant but it felt like the waiter just wanted to get us out and that was beyond annoying. There was no Sunday specials, food and drinks were mediocre, price point was on the higher end, and a waiter that had bad timing made this my first and last experience with this restaurant. You would do better going elsewhere.

I visited on a Sunday. There was one person seated at the bar and plenty of open seating inside and outside. It was a very relaxed, chilled vibe. We opted to sit outside. Our waiter was a mess. He did 2 minute check-ins, so annoying. I wondered what the rush was considering the place wasn't crowded. It was very difficult for my friend and I to have a decent conversation because of the constant interruptions. The waiter stated that he would bring out hot salsa with the chips. He forgot. I reminded him and another worker who delivered out entrees. He finally got around to delivering the salsa in between his frequent check-ins. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl. I enjoyed it! The waiter actually collected the bowl prior to me being finished. He assumed that I was done when my friend asked for a to-go box. It was apparent that he was ready for us to leave. Unbelievable. Accessible parking and entrance. Bathrooms are located downstairs.

A beautiful restaurant located in the heart of the Biltmore Fashion Square Mall. It is beautifully decorated with a mix of warm natural colors and Mexican culture. Small squint bar area with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. The food is full of flavor and will leave you satisfied. This is a great choice if you have a craving for Mexican food!

Blanco, one of the Fox Restaurant Concepts eateries, is a great spot for a date night or get-together with friends. It's got cool decor and music that adds to the ambiance without being too loud. Service is friendly and usually pretty fast. The food is elevated Mexican, and while I haven't had anything that's out of this world, everything has been very good--there's nothing I regret ordering and there are several things I'd be happy to order again. The Warm Queso is good, though I prefer the Queso Fundido, which has a richer flavor. The Chicken Taquitos are another good starter option. For an entree, I like the Carne Asada Bowl. Blanco also has a strong drink menu that's understandably heavy on the tequila- and mezcal-based cocktails. I like the Strawberry and Mandarin Margarita. Overall, Blanco is a consistently good spot for a fun and tasty meal out.

They have a small parking lot, but it's free and I was able to find a spot on a Friday evening. Ambiance (2.5/5): Speakeasies are known for their sophistication and for their hidden entry. Bar 1912 isn't much of a mystery. There are two entry points. Either a door in the back of the restaurant or a hallway inside the restaurant that's relatively easy to find as there isn't a door or anything in between the restaurant and the speakeasy. Our waiter took us there after our meal. Bar 1912 is nice, but just about average in terms of ambiance compared to other speakeasies. Part of the reason is that it's very loud (seats 30 people or so) and all of the seating at the bar are back-less bar stools (which I personally hate due to my back). I would have preferred to sit on the various couches/sofas next to the bar. Service (4.5/5): Friendly, attentive service. Exactly what you hope for when you're grabbing a drink (especially when they take a little longer to make due to their sophistication). You're provided with water without asking which is always a nice touch. I had to grab the bartender's attention once or twice, but outside of that, a job well done. Food (N/A); Since I had dinner at Valentine prior, I skipped food here. They have a small menu consisting mostly of appetizers (many, but not all, which are offered at Valentine). One option which isn't at Valentine, but which piqued my interest is the Sonoran hot dog. Had I been hungry, it would've been a no brainer. They have four or so desserts on the menu, and I had room for dessert, but none of them seemed appetizing. Drinks (4/5): When I'm at a speakeasy, I look for creativity and an interesting blend of ingredients. You certainly have that here. There's a focus on Native American and Hispanic influences here, which is pretty cool, and fitting since we're in Phoenix and everything. I tried two cocktails, one was a hit and one was a miss. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to cocktails, and I know what I like, so I rarely miss. Unfortunately, it happened here. With that being said, I tried some liqueurs I had never had before which is awesome. And I enjoyed the cocktail menu. This isn't the type of spot you'll find an Espresso Martini...thankfully. With a couple of tweaks, Bar 1912 could be in line with some of my favorite speakeasies in town.

Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!

My colleagues and I were there for the drinks so we seemed to unanimously get the sushi hand rolls and French dip sliders. The service was great because our server had a big personality and was very attentive. We stopped in a few minutes before Happy Hour was ending and he let order a few minutes after it was over.

The place had a nice romantic vibe but still felt chill and relaxed. For drinks, we had the Pickle Tiny Tini and the Vesper Tini. Both were good, but I liked the Pickle Tiny Tini better. For food, we started with the French onion soup and got the salmon and yellowtail hand rolls. We also wanted to try the spicy lobster hand roll, but they were out of lobster. We also ordered the French dip sliders, mini lobster rolls, and the pastrami Reuben egg roll. The sliders were really flavorful, and the mini lobster rolls were tasty. The only thing that we don't really like was the Reuben egg roll; the filling was good, but the wrapper wasn't crispy and was kind of soggy. It was nice and quiet while we were there, and free parking was a nice bonus. I try, I review, glad we came to give it a try.
