It turns out my worries were completely unfounded, as the entire staff at Camp College immediately put my mind at ease. Nurse Amira managed my child's Allergy Action Plan like a pro, and the staff in turn took careful safety precautions to ensure that there were no accidental exposures. Anthony, Christine, and Stacie were wonderful about making accommodations so that my son could participate alongside his neurotypical peers, and he even had a special "buddy counselor" who he absolutely loved! Both Science and Arts camps were exciting and engaging, with new projects and experiments being returned home daily. Camp College is truly a family, where each child is respected, included, and cherished. I cannot recommend this organization enough!

They are teachers so they can send their child there for free or at discounted rate. My child was there less than a year and had 4 different teachers. They do not know how to handle difficult situations with children. My child has come home with bruises on multiple occasions and they blame the incidents on my child saying it was because he was running, or not listening or something he did for the reason for the bruise or mark. Not the fact that the teachers don't pay attention to the children! They have no patience with children and do not know how to handle if a child acts out. They treat all children different and if your child has a bad day they don't know how to handle it they call you to come pick them up in the middle of the work day. The center directors are having a hard time running this school and finding qualified respectable teachers. I would absolutely recommend going somewhere else. They also lie about the behavior of your child. They called me and made me leave work one day for a "behavior issue" but couldn't find this said incident on the camera but did find a incident of my child being hit over the head with a toy crying and not one teacher came over to see if he was ok or to reprimand the child who hit him. They pick and choose their favorite children. Its horrible. Not to mention the 2 time tuition hike in less then 10 months. It's really sad the way my child was treated at this center. Oh there "help" with potty training is a joke, my child regressed since he started here. The center directors are your fake happy people, cant be trusted, lie and just out for the money not the well-being of your child. Also, my child has went to the school knowing how to count, spell his name, abc's etc and has not learned one bit of new knowledge in 10 months! Which again is because the staff is uneducated and not qualified for the job.

The kids are always engaged in some sort of wonderful summer time fun from pedal karts to archery to swimming, fishing, ceramics, computers. You name it, they likely have it for your child. Lunch is also varied and very nutritious. The Jordan family runs a wonderful facility and we can't wait to come back for yet another season at Rambling Pines.
