Amazing customer service. I recently purchased a home that had Blankenship garage doors. One of my three doors would not close. It was the start of a three day holiday weekend, not only did they contact me via both email & text, they had an employee come out Sat morning to help me get the door down. Turns out it was an easy adjustment. They didn't need to send anyone out over the weekend (I was planning on not seeing anyone until the following Tues) but I was so happy they did. Dan Blankenship replaced the bottom panel on a 4-panel door. The next day I noticed it was making a thud noise when the door hit the bottom seal. The noise was coming from the right side of the door. I figured it was a roller needing silicone. That wasn't it. I called Dan's office and talked with Ali and she scheduled Nick to come out and take a look at it. He arrived and determined that only one screw had been used to hold up the entire bottom seal bracket. He removed 1/2 the seal and reattached the bracket and reaffixed it with several screws. It now works perfectly. These guys are geniuses when it come to diagnosing problems. They cane to fix a garage door they installed in new home of 5 years. Had to replace spring. Around$500. Had them back few months later having same problem. Service person said it was not done right first time and said no charge for the trip but may have to come back later. Then we got the bill, we pay our bills however it still is not done right. Extremely prompt service when door motor quit. Power surge from area outage was probably the culprit. Other companies had 5-7 day turnaround as others were having the same problem. Blankenship sent Quentin out to assess and set up repair date for the next day. Will came out and took care of everything in about an hour. Both guys were courteous, introduced themselves and were very thorough. Was even offered a 5% senior discount. Thank you again Blankenship for the fast response and fixing the problem. We were in a very bad situation, and got immediate help! Our home is being sold, and we were expecting a realtor to show the home at five. However, the carpet cleaning company accidentally damaged the garage door, and it was stuck halfway open. I called Blankenship Garage Doors only an hour and a half before the showing, but they still got there right away, and fixed the damaged garage door very quickly. Had a senior moment in morning and backed out of garage before letting door get fully open and knocked door off tracks. Called 3 places and Blankenship was pleasant over phone and said they would try to come over late afternoon and they did. Everyone else said next day at best. Absolutely 5 stars. Sent the owner a text message on a Saturday morning around 9am when they are normally closed (per his voicemail this was OK). Our garage seemed to come off the track on one side and the cable was unspooled and loose. Garage was fixed by noon. His team was incredibly responsive and timely.
