We learned about Spookly the Pumpkin and enjoyed the most amazing pumpkin popsicles on the planet. We came back this month for the Blueberries. SO FUN. Yes, wear boots, especially after rain. The property is luscious with trees and a creek. They also have bee hives you can observe (from a safe distance). The blueberry popsicles are amazing. All four flavors of Spring popsicles were delicious. We had a popsicle "flight" and tried them all! Restrooms are porta-potties with a hand washing pump sink, so come prepared with your little tot oxo car potty if you're like me and would rather take littles to the car to potty. The owner, Jill, is such a gracious host. She is delightful and enjoys meeting everyone! We got my Dad a block of blueberry fudge, and he said it was the best fudge he has ever eaten (which is saying a lot!!!) Reopened for the 2024 year starting May 19. Make sure to follow their IG page. Gotta register the day before and pick a specific time slot. I picked the 9 am slot which is the earliest time they have and it was perfect. Not too hot and not too many people. It's $7 a pound for the berries. There's a great sitting area and they you gotta walk thru this cute little wooded trail for like less than 5 minutes. And it was wonderful! So pretty and peaceful. So much fun for an affordable, day date or family outing! The farm is so cute and rustic. It's located across the street from a subdivision in Rockwall with ample parking. There were tons of families with little children that had a fun time. Unfortunately, pups aren't allowed which was okay for us considering the amount of mud. In total we spent close to $60 on blueberries and family made goodies. The popsicles were the perfect touch after picking berries in the heat. They offered a few other flavors besides blueberry but we opted for two of those. We also got a jar of honey from their hives, which you can visit on the way to pick blueberries. We tried their jam and a blueberry lemon loaf. The loaf was very lemon heavy if that's not your thing. Now for the the trek to the blueberries lol. It wasn't that bad of a walk but comfortable walking shoes or rain boots would be recommended by me. No need to fuss or worry about messing them up from the mud and dust from the walk. It is a bit of an incline and a bit uneven but not unbearable for the the littles or grandparents. There were plenty of both visiting. Plenty of bushes/trees to pick from. A tip pick from the bushes farthest from the entrance or near muddy paths. Those were the sweetest and juiciest fruit we ever had. My partner ate so many while picking I thought we wouldn't have enough to take home. Defiant recommend 10/10 read more

Based off of the reviews I was expecting something different. It's a small space and it's not a pumpkin "patch" but just random pumpkins on the ground. They have a petting zoo with pigs, donkeys, goats, sheeps and llamas. With entry you get a free hotdog. They have a hayride where you learn about the family and property. Entry was $11 and there was enough parking. I guess reservations are recommended though. Their apple spice popsicle was good and so was their fudge. Been here a few times for their Halloween pumpkin patch. Such a great place with for those with littles. Not too big so it's easier to get through and not overwhelming. They have a petting zoo, a hay ride that takes you through their pumpkin/ blueberry farm. Lots of phot ops, picnic tables for those that want to pack a lunch. Man, what a fantastic place to visit! We came to the farm on a warm fall afternoon with our two young grandchildren. They had a fantastic time! During the crisis one needs to make a reservation. Easy parking out front. $9 for adults and children over two years of age. Tbe price include some food for the animals as well as a hot dog. Our granddaughter really enjoyed petting the barn animals. Great neighborhood spot for blueberries in the summer. Went opening weekend and they had a ton of blueberries available. They had a great system as well if you wanted to buy a bucket or use a bag. Sweet little pumpkin patch. While it's not a true pumpkin patch it has plenty of spots for fall pumpkin-y photo ops. Great for small children. The price of admission was $9.00 and included a small pumpkin, the hayride, and a tiny cup of food to feed the sheep. (On the weekends a hot dog is included with admission in lieu of the pumpkin.) I loved the sweet sheep and the little donkey. The story walk about Spookley the square pumpkin was darling and thoughtful. Popsicles and fudge are sold at the gift shop. Super friendly folks! There was plenty of blueberries for picking. Just be Careful where you squat when you're picking berries! my toddler didn't notice she was standing on an ant bed. They do warn you about this ahead of time as they don't use any pesticides which we appreciate! The entry fee is a tad pricey in my opinion at $7 per person (even my 3 year old!). If you enjoy the included hotdog then it's slightly more reasonable but no trades for a bottle of water or drink. Hotdog only. The main highlight seems to be the animals. Your given a cup filled about 1/3 of the way with goat and sheep nibbles. There were goats, sheep and two baby cows. From there you can meander around and take some pictures then make your way to the hay ride. I was expecting Halloween decorations along the ride but that wasn't the case. It's about a 4-5 minute ride down to look at their blueberry shrubs and then back. It was cute enough it is convenient but I wouldn't drive too far out of the way. Here are a few of the highlights; * affordable entrance fee ($9/person) * hay ride pulled by tractor which includes a recording of the history of the farm and unique scenes along the way (no additional cost) * petting zoo complete with sheep, donkey, pony, piglets, and llama (.50 cents for sheep feed) (There's also several hand washing stations) * pumpkins for sale at an affordable price * lots of available seating (picnic tables, logs, benches) * plenty of photo ops with fall backdrops * hay maze for the littles (this is actually my favorite maze because it's perfect for young children. You can see above the hay, so it's not very claustrophobic) * lots of available beverages and food for sale (also affordable) * pumpkin story walk (great lesson on celebrating differences) * entire area is shaded with trees It's a family owned business and they make you feel like you're part of the family when you come in. What a cute little place! Each paid entry receives a free pumpkin (small, but not mini) and a cup of feed for the animals. Feeding the goats and steer were our favorite parts of our visit. Its a small place whixh also offers a kid size hay maze and a hayride too. We packed lunches and enjoyed them at the picnic tables they kindly provide, and we enjoyed all the shade the trees provided as well. There are lots of places to take photos and they sell cold drinks and pumpkin popsicles as well! I'd say this place is great for kids 6 and under. Great family farm in Rockwall. Summer time so we (me, wife and toddler) went blueberry picking. Parking is sufficient and free, the place is quaint and nice. Grab a bucket on the way in and fill until your heart is content. Then they weigh it on the way out and charge you accordingly. There are tons of bushes with lots of ripe berries! I was concerned that they'd be all picked out or not ready, there are plenty of in work berries but also many ready for picking. Do bring shoes that you don't mind getting a little muddy or dirty. If you're traveling with a baby bring a stroller with some intermediate terrain capabilities. There's a port-a-potty and hand wash stations near the front. You can buy popsicles, cakes and other food items. You can also bring your own stuff to picnic there at their tables. We are definitely coming back in the fall because they do pumpkins for Halloween. read more

I came here with my friend to check out blueberry picking and we had a blast. Basically when you come in, you go up to the little stand and ask for a basket. They have baskets of several sizes which is great since it helped me a lot with accidentally over picking to many berries. Once you get your basket, you walk down a trail towards the blueberry bushes. They have several long rows of blueberry bushes so there is more than plenty. After you are done, you bring the basket of picked blueberries back to the stand where you can pay. They also have homemade blueberry and strawberry popsicles that are absolutely delicious. Overall, I loved this place. The people were nice, the farm was super cute, and the blueberries and popsicles were delicious. read more

This was the cutest little pumpkin patch and animal farm. This is family owned and operated. The cost was $7 a person and little ones are free. That gets you admittance, a cup of animal feed, a hay ride and a ticket for a hot dog. Not bad for $7 dollars, the larger places tend to be pretty expensive. The animals were goats, sheep and cows. Beware the sheep! They get aggressive and pushy for food. The goats were very cute and my nieces favorite. The nice thing is they keep and reuse all the plastic feed cups and every recycle area had tons of bottles of hand sanitizer. The have port-a-potties on location if needed. There are a handful of very cute signs and props all throughout the farm to take pictures of the kids/family. The hay ride is through the back part of the property. It wasn't anything special, but it was nice to see all the fall leaves and trees. They also have a blueberry farm and it can be seen on the hay ride. There is also a little train ride for the kids but that is $2 extra. If you are in need of pumpkins they have a pretty good selection of all colors and sizes. The small ones for pumpkin pie or kids to decorate were about $4 and the larger ones are about $15 or so. Unfortunately we didn't need to buy any this trip. I would recommend this place to anyone with kids, its a good place for them to run around and get some really cute photos. I like the fact that it is family owned and operated. 100% fun for the kiddies. First came here for blueberry picking. Had our full of blueberries. I recommend their blue berry Popsicle if they have it. Be ready to give your little one a bath though. This place is awesome we been here twice so far, once in the spring for blueberries and again in the fall for the pumpkins! While it might not be big and fancy like some other "farms" it cute and you can tell it's a work in progress. Some of these other reviews seem to think it's easy to just pop up a farm overnight! The pricing is reasonable if you take time to enjoy your time. It's a farm so you're going to get dirty. And the blueberry field isn't shaded because that's not how it works. Cute pumpkin patch however masks and social distancing were not enforced:( We only stayed about 15 minutes so we could feed the animals and get some pumpkins but left immediately after just because it did not feel super safe. Really cute and sweet family-owned pumpkin patch! It's nice that with the entrance fee you also get offered plastic cups to feed some goats, cows, and a long horn. The only thing that's kinda bleh about that is they recycle it and reuse it by having you throw it in bins that other people put trash in. With the feeding zoo, they also offer a variety of pumpkins for sale and a pretty cute set up to take fall photos in as well as a short hay ride. This place is cute but the sanitation is terrible. I went on a field trip with my daughters 1st grade class and my other children, ages 8 months, 4 and 18. I ended up having to meet my daughters school up there due to a class I was teaching and when we arrived know one was at the entrance, we looked around but know one came so we walked through. I had pre paid for everyone way in advance and it was only my daughters school attending at the time and I did make it clear the first time I was asked that I arrived late, know one was at the front, we paid in advance with the school and we walked through. I kept getting asked if I had paid by two different people on sight. Apparently the feed and a mini pumpkin comes with each purchase but I just felt that this wasn't made clear but rather if I paid the entrance. I think for $5 it was over priced. There was one activity for older kids which is a scavenger hunt and they read off facts of each animal or can get help from an adult to do the reading. Then there are goats and a bull to feed. Mini pumpkin patch to choose your pumpkin and two photo opps on fall props. There is a tractor/hay ride that takes you in a mini forest like setting/trail. I will say this was the highlight for us and my 4 year old son thought it was very cool and the best day ever! Picnic tables are there to sit or eat if desired. That's it. read more

It was much too small for the price. Other Patches a little further away have much more to offer and include a small pumpkin for the same price. We tried this one to save drive time. The ground was very unsteady. Just dirt and rocks and not level- many hills. Not good for elderly or toddlers (we had both with us). The "parking" is the same way. The maze is a joke- literally, we were laughing. Feeding the animals was great and we were grateful for the hand sanitizer but your hands get filthy feeding them. Other places offer sinks to rinse. Hand sanitizer doesn't remove dirt and debris. You end up wiping it off on your clothes. Like other reviews, the staff was very nice. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and that includes the wait for the hay ride. read more

Great arra! Didn't really know what to expect but it isn't your typical pumpkin patch. It is shaded and basically in the woods which was awesome! Hay rides, children's train, and animals makes this really special for the kiddos. The only thing I didn't like was the limited pumpkin selection when we went however I think they put out new pumpkins everyday (we got there late in the day).
