My toddler and I went on a Tuesday for the first time ever and got discounted matinee tickets along with supposedly "half off" priced food. I paid $54 for two tickets, a small pizza, a regular drink/popcorn combo & one cotton candy. I would've been happy if the food atleast tasted good but the popcorn was somewhat stale and the pizza was missing flavor, the sodas were surprisingly also a little off tasting. You can only use the playground 30 minutes before or after the showing which I understand, if we come back it'll be solely for the movie and playground. read more

I love sitting in the top area of the theatre. The seats recline and are heated. I ordered food for the first time last night and was quite impressed with the personal pizza. Plenty of toppings and more than enough food for me. The popcorn is SO good! I couldn't keep my hand out of the bag and it wasn't even mine. I do wish that the volume was up louder in the theater but the picture is pretty good. read more

What has happened to this place?! This theatre is very run down and in need of a major deep clean and updates too. Some of the lights on the theatre wall were burnt out and one was blinking off and on during parts of the movie. Very distracting. There was trash and crumbs in the cup holders. Disgusting. The seats were all worn down and peeling. Overall this place is not sanitary and I can not imagine actually eating popcorn while sitting in such a filthy environment. read more

Theater that has fallen from Grace. B&B was my go to for years but Strike & Reel beat them out since 2019 so my visits have been sporadic. Their prices have always been high but it was worth it to be in the quaint theater with hardworking staff. Today I paid $36 to sit in the Marquee level, it was hot at 80 degrees and they No Longer has in-seat service. (gasp!) It's like they are going backwards. We were stopped from entering the theater by the bartender. We waited a several minutes as the bartender oversaw some drink mixing. Since the clock was ticking, I interrupted to explain we were going to order inside. Not Anymore! I was informed that service in the movie stopped after covid. The bartender said people complained about the servers talking (Which really doesn't have anything to do with 2020) so they stopped. It took me just over 16 minutes to order at the bar. A newbie was being micromanaged while making blue drinks so the bartender couldn't assist anyone else. Soft drinks and water are self served from a machine just past the bathrooms, beers, wine, cocktails, popcorn and candy are at the bar. We had to make 2 trips to pick up our beers. Waitstaff will bring you food that you ordered but if you need a refill, you have to leave the theater and visit the self serve machine or bar and hope the bar doesn't take 15+ minutes. iPic is the same price, has restaurant quality food, Strike + Reel is cheaper and has better food and refillable popcorn. I have been a loyal patron of B&B Theatres, attending two to three times per month since its opening. The theatre has consistently promoted its involvement in the Wylie community, advertising events such as Cross Church services and Cowboy watch parties, and presenting itself as a proud community sponsor. In my experience, the parking lot has always had ample availability, even during prime-time movie releases. However, last Friday, during Wylie East's first home playoff game, many individuals--including myself--parked on the north side of the lot near the road, only to return and find our vehicles booted. The fee to remove the boot was $257 in my case, while others were charged different amounts, such as $130. Although a small sign indicated "No Event Parking," I acknowledge my responsibility for not adhering to it. That said, I must question the reasoning behind this enforcement. Why were fees inconsistent, and why was there no formal verification of whether patrons had attended a movie? The only explanation provided was, "We saw you walk across the street from the game." This experience raises concerns about whether the enforcement was intended as a revenue opportunity tied to the playoff event, rather than a genuine parking management issue. The lack of transparency and consistency undermines the theatre's stated commitment to supporting the Wylie community. As a result, my family and I will no longer be frequenting B&B Theatres, and we will instead support other venues that demonstrate stronger community values and customer respect. read more

I was so looking forward to watching Deadpool and Wolverine with 4D experience. I Booked the ticket online, felt 19$ + service fee was a bit much for movie in the second week and that too for 2pm. For a weekend theater wasn't too busy. In theater experience was great! Although, I did not like the experience at Box office or food! Their box office was closed on the weekend and tickets have to be picked up as the same queue as popcorn which is ridiculous, also explains how busy or understaffed they are! Initially there was a long queue on both lines, so I decided to come back in a bit after bio break! By the time I got back there was an empty queue. I went there and asked for ticket and pop corn, the guy standing behind the lady at the counter asked me to come to the lady's counter while he fiddle his thumbs. Small popcorn is 9$+ after tax which is outrageous. This theater is not for everyone! I would rather go to cinemark. Backstage membership is useless too. read more

Theater was filthy. Not cleaned, tons of trash in seats. We mentioned it to the manager and she had an attendant come in to sweep but he still left all of the trash in seats and cup holders. I then told somebody about all the trash in the seats and she said "OK I'll talk to somebody" and it never got taken care of. So people sat in their seats with trash or had to clean it out themselves (mind you, the trash was from the previous ). There's also a mild odor. Needed to cancel less than two hours before show and the only way I could get a refund was to drive 45 min each way to get an in person refund. Tried calling and couldn't even reach a real person. The contact us was equally unhelpful. Im so tired of terrible customer service and thieves! Drove two hours to watch Avatar in 4D. We purchased our tickets in advanced. When we walked in no one directed us anywhere. No one checked for our tickets. We picked up our snacks and went to get our drinks. The machines were not well stocked with ice or soda options. The butter station floor was extremely sticky and dirty . We found our seats and realized that we will be needing 3D glasses. So I sent my husband out on the hunt and took him a while to find some. The 4D movie experience was incredible but the seats are not necessary comfortable and they have a weird angle. The screen was very small. You really have to mentally train your brain to not focus on the screen edges so that you can immerse yourself in the movie. Ladies if you need a supportive bra during exercise you'll want to wear one for the movie just sayin. Also we took blankets but the theater temperature was very pleasant. I wouldn't recommend slippery pants. These seats don't have seat belts so one could potentially slip off into the floor if they wear satin pants. I really enjoyed the motion on the seats, the blasting puffs of air , the water misting. For some reason the screen went off about 15 minutes before the end but it was back on quickly. read more

We love it here. The food is great and fun date to watch a movie and eat your sup. Also the drinks are pretty good, too. I guess the food delivery could be perceived as intrusive to those not eating ( see other reviews), if so, there are other rooms showing the same flick that don't serve food, but, there are people there, too and some of them get chatty. . Seats our comfy and the rooms are cleaned out between showings but they sometimes miss things. After the big 2020, I started carrying antibacterial wipes and a quick wipe of the arms, headrest, chair controls and swing up table were good to go! read more

I went to watch a movie last night on mx4d . I thought it was going to be a great experience as the one in red oak . But it seems to be old . Maybe I expected it to be nicer or Atleast the same quality but it was bad . The audio of the movie was terrible. Sounds like there was only one speaker in the front on top of the screen and some chairs were rattling super bad towards the front end of the theater . You could hear the Chairs shaking more than the actual movie and the sound of the movie sounds like it was half way . Never going back here again . read more

My friends and I decided to check out a new movie theater. After searching a few places, we came across B&B Theatres on TikTok. It looked nice online, but the one in Wylie was a huge disappointment. The theater was filthy there was popcorn and food all over the floor. The customer service was terrible, and the overall experience was far from enjoyable. If you're looking to have a good time, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Strike Reel and Studio Movie Grill are much better options. Additionally, the movie tickets at B&B Theatres were overpriced, and the food prices were ridiculously high. Save your money and avoid this place! read more

My first visit here. Went to the early showing of Pokémon Detective Pikachu with my grandson for his 7th birthday. While the commercial time pre-movie was so loud I stuck my fingers in my ears a couple times. However it settled down for the main event. I visited this location before in the past as I've been a resident to the area since before B&B came to Wide Awake Wylie. Fortunately for me this was my last visit after I witnessed what I saw on today 7/29/2025. This message is for anyone who chooses to ride a motorcycle, e-bike, or possibly a bicycle. Evidently you are not allowed to park a motorcycle, electric bike, electric scooter or bicycle on the concrete area close to the theatre wall even if it's 100 degrees in Texas. I witnessed a gentleman talked to in a way that was clearly not customer friendly from some kids/teens as well as the female manager. I witnessed him plead for empathy before being told he could go to another movie establishment by an unprofessional manager that does not have control of her disrespectful staff and lack the ,managerial skills to deescalate a situation and provide customer service that a manager is supposed to provide. Then some young girl chimes in behind her supervisor stating "it's Illegal to park there, after the gentleman began to speak he was then interrupted by another teen male saying you can leave. It was at this point I began to record as the guy exited the building and within 5 minutes or less Wylie Police Department was called and dispatched 3 officers. As I stated before I've visited this place several times and I've never had to do a review because I simple take my business where I am appreciated no matter what your appearance or ethnicity is. They have always been poor with customer service and food services as concessions are never made for this establishments downfalls when it comes to the experience that we pay for. It's clear they are trying to attract a specific audience. All my friends and family will know of this. The more support we take away from your poor service maybe you will get the audience you are looking for or just closed down although the kids and families would probably welcome you sale to someone who can run it with a better heart. This movie theater is getting ridiculous!! Bad customer service and bad employees! I don't know what the hell is going on but get it together!! We usually always come to this theater, since it's right down the street to my house. Went in and bought tickets a hour before show comes on. Go in and start watching movie and guy ask to see my tickets after 15 min. Show him my ticket and he says this actually for the show before this. I said why would I sit back to bacK to watch the SAME movie. I'm like the girl at the register screwed it up! He goes and gets the tickets that had the CORRECT time on them. And says the guys next to us actually picked those seats. Im like whatever, I picked them out first before they screwed up! The guys were like no we don't want to move it's all cool. I have taken my family here before about half a year back and it was an enjoyable experience. This last time however we ordered Fish and chips , a burger and fries and chicken tenders for both my kids. When the food came out the smell of the oil was terrible and I unfortunately was not edible. I have worked in a restaurant with a fryer and either plastic fell into it or it was expired oil. I tried contacting the theater the next day to let them know and was unable to reach a person. It was an automated system. The food was not cheep and we were out about $90 dollars total with tip and tax. I could not take a single bite of food so it was a terrible waste. Hopefully it was a one time issue. read more

It's a special night out when we even have the chance to go to a movie. And I don't want to have to work so hard to have a good time. First of all, the BB early-2000s website shows all this wonderful food and menu, but doesn't tell you that "service at your seat" is not available in every theater. The downstairs concession staff didn't seem to be very informed or organized. I did eventually find out that I could go upstairs and order carryout, but it was very disorganized plus had a 40-minute wait. This theater is very conveniently located for us, but our experience is more important than the convenience ... by a lot. I'll drive the extra miles to Alamo for a better experience. I used to love this theater. It was out of the way but my spouse and I adored the balcony seating. Up until recent I thought it was perfect however that all changed. I liked the theater so much I downloaded their app and decided to become a member. My partner was excited to see the new Smile movie and as a surprise I rushed to buy him and myself a ticket as soon as I awoke. I tried once and the app said connection error try again and I did as it said I tried 4 times and no success. Bummer I had to ruin the surprise and ask him to get the tickets as to not miss out on good seats. We went and all was well until I looked at my bank account the next day I was charged for all 4 attempts. YES CHARGED! I hadn't received a single ticket yet I was charged for every attempt. Concerned I called my bank who told me the merchant could easily refund me at the theater the same was communicated by their contact us page representatives. I drove out of my way Sunday to get my refund however it was deferred to another manager. I myself am a manger over finance and found it particularly concerning when this occurred I waited the 3 days they said it would take to process and tried calling multiple time. The number listed doesn't work and I and my partner had to drive out of our way a 2nd time to consult with the other manager. He was very kind but I was informed my refund was processed Monday and should be reflected at the latest Friday. Friday rolls around and nothing! I contact the regional manager and I'm informed it was just processed Friday THAT Friday. I was so frustrated and tired of dealing with this situation for over a week I just conceded and said thanks. However, I want to address this issue. Communication was extremely lacking especially in light of this serious situation. I am missing over $100 from my account I expressed that their negligence was impeding on my financial matters and that it was an error per their app and that all I wanted was a quick and easy refund. I am still waiting at this moment for my refund I was also sent some, somewhat passive aggressive emails but one representative who I will not name. They tried telling me regardless of not getting any form of ticket that refunds are clearly stated as being processed before the showtime. I was blown away that even the manager who I consulted with beforehand had said "this is a problem we are aware of" and the blame was being put back on me as though I was being negligent. read more

If you've never been to this theatre before, it's very confusing when you walk in. There were only 3 people working on a Saturday afternoon, and one looked like the manager, so There's no one directing you , it's just one line that looks like it goes to one register, while the other registers are to the right. Then on the left there's what looks like self service screens, but they don't work. So we waited in the one long line and eventually a girl at another register says next in line, so we started to walk to her, but out of nowhere this man beats us to it. So we just stood behind him and waited. I asked for layered butter on my popcorn, and the girl said ok, but i watched as she just put my popcorn in the bag with no butter. She failed to tell me the self service butter machines were behind me. Then We ordered 2 hot dogs , they only had 1. Are you going to have more later? No one talks here!
