We hired Blasingame to do a full house deep clean after a whole home repipe. Since there was some construction dust in parts of the house we paid extra, (total of $450) for a 2 story 2300 sf home. They did an average job. We had 3 people come clean the home and John (owner husband) was by far the best. He moved furniture, he scrubbed and re-scrubbed and all the areas he was in were done very well. He also helped me put cushion covers back on my couch Unfortunately, Amber (owner) and the other lady they brought were not as thorough even though they were there a total of 6 hours, they left at 10pm. FYI, don't do something this late since you can't really do a good walk through without all the light that is needed. The next morning when my wife came home we saw all the stuff they didn't do. Parts of the kitchen were just not touched. The freezer was not cleaned. I had fingerprints on my oven. I had dust on my kitchen counters BELOW items, ie they were not picked up and cleaned below, or likely the area was just not done. We had some texture still on door that just requires a wipe down with water to come off but that wasn't done. The floor below our wine cabinet wasn't touched at all even though there is plenty of clearance. Since we had delays from another vendor they couldn't finish our master bath. I had agreed with Amber that I would pay her in full and she would come back in 2 days to clean it since that is when she would be back in town. When we sent an email the following AM to Amber telling her we would want her to come and fix some of these items, she curtly responded saying we would get a $15 refund for not doing the master, and that the relationship is no longer needed or wanted and the check was in the mail. This was just amazingly horrible customer service. She knew my wife was coming home after being away and that the master bath needed to be cleaned otherwise we couldn't use it. By pulling out at the last minute we had to scramble to find another crew to come clean it (they came 2 days later). Her tone was uncalled for and completely rude and the $15 was just insulting. I had to put a stop payment on the check in order to get an appropriate refund and this was after 10 more back and forth emails that were just unnecessary. At one point, I had to deal with the office manager, I guess Amber didn't want to engage anymore. I would not use them again, even though John was really good. They are very expensive and while John may be worth it, the rest were not. A simple let me come back and fix it for you is all that was needed. The poor customer service and handling of the situation just confirmed why we will keep looking for a good monthly cleaning crew. read more

Working with this company was extremely disappointing. I was excited to find a family run business where I had hoped to get a bit more personal interaction and care. But that was most definitely not the case. I had them come out for a cleaning, I am 9 months pregnant and was very excited to have some help in getting my home ready. I did their $99 initial cleaning service, for my very small 700 sq ft home. I was told it was a 3 he service with 1 cleaner. On the day of two cleaners came but one was clearly new as she was being instructed on how to clean by the the other cleaner. We had planned to leave and asked to be texted so we could come back. But did pay before we left, which was clearly our first mistake. We came home after 2 1/2 hrs and they were gone, with no text. The house was not done being cleaned at all. Our entire living space floor was not done. The entertainment center not touched. Food at the bottom of the sink, kitchen floor not mopped, and small area rugs not picked up and vacuumed under. But our money was gone. I took pictures and emailed the owner to let her know how awful her employees had done. Instead of responding to me she had the cleaner write me back using her email, at first apologizing, and offering to come back and clean for free. This email was shortly followed by an odd series of emails basically discrediting the original apology, stating it was just a $99 initial clean and they did the best they could, and then another saying I should have paid for the $300 deep clean if I wanted more. Except these things missed are extremely basic, and were specifically listed on THEIR checklist for the basic initial clean. I replied with my disappointment in the odd series of emails, again requesting to speak with the owner amber, thinking she would care about the quality of her business, and literally never heard back. Except for a few days later when I got a random text from someone stating they were the office manager, asking for my email to send me a receipt invoice. So clearly they are also not at all organized and had no clue who I was and that they clearly already had my email. I've honestly pretty much only used yelp to write positive reviews. This was by far my most disappointing experience. I wish I had read the other yelp reviews to see that this is a pattern of awful customer service and business. Amber and John came to our home today to do an initial deep cleaning. The whole process from referral, paperwork, check in and showing up today was smooth, professional and super informative. We felt comfortable with them before they even walked in which is saying so much. They were timely and wasted no time getting to work. They cleaned nearly every inch of our home 1100sft 2bed 2bath, vaulted ceilings and skylights in under 5 hours. An hour less than they thought yet everything was done well. They met my old southern grandmothers standards! If y'all know what I mean! They did it all with such cheer too- which is even more impressive. You can tell they love and take pride in what they do and that means so much. I am happily resting in my super clean home and I've never felt more relaxed. I was excited to get a new cleaning company. This company promises top quality cleaning... I am one of those people that will give something a few try's before making my judgement. I gave them 3 cleanings (which I paid by the each at a higher price than the monthly price just in case). I voiced my dislike of how the cleaning was not to my expectations and did not cover what is on their cleaning visit list. Examples: cleaner was using my products when they state that they use their own products, my horizontal surfaces were not dusted this included the top of microwave, toaster oven, tv stand, etc. The TV stand is elevated high with hardwood floors under so when you sit on couch you see under it. The floor under it was not cleaned only around the TV stand. I was notified that they let my cleaner go and would need to cancel that weeks cleaning. I told them I understood and looked forward to the next week. Next week came and the day before I received a call from the owner who said she had to cancel due to car troubles of an employee. She promised me that she herself would come clean my house. I was excited to have a good cleaning as now I have been waiting for 2 weeks. Well cleaning day approached and I hear nothing! I contacted the office lady who said she would get back to me. She did call back and said the owner couldn't do my house cause it's too far and I should look for another cleaning company. The owner promised me so much and didn't even have the decency to call me herself. She had her office lady call me to relay the information. I understand if logistic issues occur due to letting someone go but it could have been handled in so many other ways. She could have come cleaned the house and explained the situation. This would have allowed us to part ways in a respectable way (remember I was curious to wait 3 weeks on them without seeking another company). So in summary this company promises a lot... Makes you sign paperwork on how you will follow all their rules... But lacks ALL customer service skills, disrespects its customers, and has NO follow through. Highly disappointed read more

I'm one of those awful people who usually only write reviews when something is bad. However I'm stepping away from my norm and writing glowing praise for John and Sienna. After being let down repeatedly by my cleaning person, I contacted Blasingame. Super professional and easy to schedule. Complete transparency of what was included in a regular cleaning (although my impression is that they are totally flexible to more). Expectations were set appropriately (that was a first for me). They showed up on time, had a walk through, asked me what my main peeves were (dog hair!), and they got started. Holy smokes. I don't think my house has ever been this clean. I'm ecstatic. I'm always skeptical when a new cleaning person starts. Its not that I have particularly high standards but I do want someone to show up when they say they are going to show up and get rid of my dog hair. My wish was granted. I can thoroughly recommend Blasingame Cleaning Service. Thank you John and Sienna. Update after second cleaning : such an enormous disappointment. Wow. I couldn't be more surprised. It was as though I had an entirely different cleaning crew with a substandard philosophy. Rust-like residue left in the kitchen sink which took significant scrubbing to remove. Dust on bedroom furniture was just moved around with very evident streak marks. No evidence of the proprietary 'scent' they speak of on their website which was so pleasant after the first cleaning. Home owners beware! Not recommended. I never had the same cleaning people in the same month. there was never any consistency. They would forget to clean parts of the kitchen, including appliances. They would run 20 to 45 minutes late, break things, cancel, and some days just didnt show up. they started off perfect, and as time went on, they service deteriorated. I called, sent emails regarding their cleaning service, always excuses, such as, staffing issues, firing employees, employees calling in sick, the best one was I was too busy to call to let you know no one was coming. That was the final straw, and I terminated their contract. I paid a month in advance, and they still owe me one cleaning, plus the cost of two broken items, which they agreed to pay, but I have yet to receive. read more

I never write reviews, however the lack of professionalism this company supplied really bothered me. For my initial cleaning the cleaners did not show up because they claimed they forgot to put it in their planner. I understand human error. I was really impressed by the pricing and looked forward to when they would come to clean. My initial cleaning was "okay" however because my place was so dirty I assumed the next one would be better. Things were not complete such as not cleaning the shower heads, completely cleaning the mold off the shower tiles or dusting picture frames and knickknacks. When my second cleaning came, I let them know areas to focus on, they were focused on better then last time but still minimally, however many other things were not done. Such as missing numerous dusting spots, looks like items were not moved and dusted around, my sons room and kitchen table did not look touched, NO picture frames or knickknacks were touched. The bathroom faucets and handles were not cleaned only wiped down on top only. My staircase and staircase shelves were not dusted. The kitchen sick looks like NO products were used and I had to clean it myself after, my wine fridge was not windexed and the toothpaste holders were not cleaned, leaving toothpaste all over them. I emailed and text them and received no response. That was I feel the most disappointing as they did not provide any customer service. Both times I overpaid beyond what I was quoted, that alone deserves the common courtesy of acknowledging my complaint. I don't usually post bad reviews but I felt I should post my recent experience with this company. I recently had Theresa and her younger sister come clean my home for the first time, even though I told them I've had my home cleaned recently professionally they still charged me $150. Initially, when I came home, it looked shiny and clean. But as I looked through I noticed basic stuff hadn't been cleaned. Such as: wiping off the coffee maker (lots of dust on the surface and coffee drippings); some window sills were dusted but only about half; my sons tv console was partially dusted, by that I mean they dusted about the first 6 inches of the console shelf and on the top they dusted the console on the front of the tv counter space and it is a flat screen so you can see behind the tv. Again basic cleaning. most furniture pieces were partially dusted; they cleaned my 60 year old original hardwood floors with peroxide, alcohol and water, which anyone knows is not good for wood floors. Just too many things to mention. Also, when I emailed the owner, I didn't get a response from the owner. I got an email from Theresa, the one that supposedly cleaned my home. The owner didn't even try and contact me, but had her cleaner respond. Do not recommend this company. Very poor service. read more

I was so excited to try Blasingame after they came so highly recommended on the Orange Buzz Facebook group. Unfortunately, I experienced what Annette did in her review on this page. Amber, the owner, was polite, but talked a big game with little return. During their initial clean that is supposed to be a somewhat deeper clean, I told her I wasn't happy with the quality of service (while they were still at my home). She passed me off to Heather, her manager, who told me to bring the concerns up to the girls right then. When I did, they had excuses for everything. They didn't clean the light fixtures (on their list of items to clean) because they don't want to break them. The doors and baseboards still had dust on them because the microfiber cloths leave dust behind (how is that considered cleaning then?). Another time, the nightstand still had smudges on it because they are told to only gently DUST horizontal surfaces, not CLEAN them. The toilet wasn't completely clean because they couldn't reach the rim underneath (I could easily). Only half the dresser was dusted because they are told to not touch personal things, so they didn't clean under my jewelry holders. They charge extra to clean the insides of windows and sliding glass doors. The faucet still had spots because they were from hard water (they weren't, and I had to show them myself that they came off easily). The granite in the kitchen was still dirty because the "Liquid Amber" custom cleaning products Amber provides doesn't always clean things the best. They literally only have a bottle of this homemade cleaner (made of peroxide, oil, and something else the girl couldn't remember) to clean everything in the house. No stainless steel cleaner, no tile/toilet/shower cleaner, no granite cleaner, no wood floor cleaner. Using an "all natural" cleaning product is great, but if my house isn't clean, what's the point? The girl told me I could provide my own products, but then I would I be spending even more money. Another concern is you're not guaranteed to have the same people each week, as there is a lot of turnover. I had a new girl last week and she said if I have specific requests (like dusting under things on a dresser, God forbid), I should leave post-it notes on those areas. So every two weeks, I would have to go around the house with post-it notes putting "clean this" on them, since it may not be the same girl and they all clean differently. Does anyone have time for that? Also, they don't straighten anything, only "clean". So pillows won't be fluffed/straightened on the couch, beds won't be made, blankets won't be folded, chairs won't be pushed in, books won't be stacked, etc. There were 3 kids books on a nightstand, in different spots and they literally wiped under each one and put them back where they were, instead of stacking the 3 small books. I gave them 3 chances and each time I'd look around and feel like my house hadn't been cleaned. I even had to ask if my bathroom had been cleaned because the shower was still dirty. When I brought this up to Amber she passed me off to Heather again and I was told that it sounds like I'm just picky and these are aesthetic things. When I explained that these are items on their list they guarantee to clean, she said she'd understand if I wanted to look for another cleaner. No attempt to save the business whatsoever, or be polite for that matter. It was unfortunately a waste of money. I'm assuming the people with better reviews happened to get harder workers come to their house than I did? At best, Blasingame's cleaning is average, and their customer service is well below average. read more

I have been using Blasingame Cleaning for 4+ years. Amber and John and the entire Blasingame Cleaning team are absolutely amazing!! I met with Amber in 2012 after my Mom passed away to help with cleaning my fathers home. He never did those types of things around the home. Amber was so obliging and such a breath of fresh air for our family. I cannot say how much it has meant to us to have her in our lives. Not only has she helped us by keeping my fathers house clean, safe and healthy by using her own natural products but she also comforts my father as well. He loves when Amber and John come to clean. I found Blasingame cleaning through Facebook and decided to try them out for my indoor brick floors. They were prompt to respond to my inquiry and gave me an estimate that was very reasonable. John came and worked his tail off for 4 hours with an industrial brush cleaner. My floors have never looked so good! They're new to floor cleaning l, but he was determined to get the job done properly. John was professional and very hard working. I have tried this cleaning company three times in hopes that maybe it was just a bad day and not to be over critical. The first time, my shower was not cleaned. The second time, the floors were not wiped down. And today was the last time. They showed up nearly 30 minutes late. And when I came home from work I found that nearly every horizontal surface was not even wiped down. I have a white media center that was very obvious it was never touched. My dresser nor night stands were wiped down. I called to discuss the problem and Heather was very nice but left no resolution other then we will talk to our cleaners and we are really sorry. This is not professional to constantly leave areas uncleaned. When people pay to have their house cleaned it is because they want someone else to clean not so they can personally re-clean the house. I had Blasingame cleaning services come in and do deep cleaning. I live about 50 miles from them, but i have been unhappy with different cleaning teams. So they were referred to me, and they told me they dont travel that far, but would do a one time deep cleaning to prepare our house for the market. The quoted me a very fair price, used their own product that the owner makes herself. They cleaned all the grout, light switches, blinds, inside appliances all the blinds, which was above the basic deep cleaning that was promised. I was hesitant in hiring a cleaning service to come clean my house. I usually like to do the cleaning myself, but I haven't been able to keep up, so decided I would suck it up and look for someone. Another factor was that I like to limit any toxic chemicals that come into the house. Commercial cleaning products make my eyes water and my lips tingle, so I didn't want to expose our family to toxic fumes. I somehow stumbled on Blasingame on Facebook and decided to give them a try. I signed up to get monthly cleanings and waited for my third cleaning before giving them a review. I love the products they use-no toxic fumes at all. Amber makes them herself and they seem to clean well. Our house was left smelling fresh and clean. There were a few things missed here or there, but they were willing to touch up anything they missed or wasn't to our satisfaction. Our 2000 square foot house was done in about 3 hours. I did come in with the expectation that they were only coming once a month, so I didn't expect for every single nook and cranny to be covered. My house has way too many things for them to work around-they would need to do a deep cleaning. They always do a walk-through afterwards to make sure you are satisfied, so any concerns can be voiced then. Our last cleaning was more thorough than the last, so it does depend on who comes clean your house. Each time I have been more and more satisfied-probably because I now know what's important to me and let them know as well. I do think it would be a good idea if they brought their check-list and physically mark them off as they clean so nothing is missed. They are very friendly to work with and scheduling has been a breeze. If you are looking for a cleaning service that uses non-toxic cleaners, then I highly recommend Blasingame Cleaning. read more

We LOVE Blasingame Cleaning Services! Our first encounter with Blasingame was when we were preparing to host 75 guests in my home in celebration of my sisters wedding. We had the house deep cleaned, and the price quoted was very reasonable. They sent two people in and there wasn't a nook or cranny that didn't get cleaned! They pulled furniture away from walls, rolled my area carpets and cleaned underneath, vacuumed the shades/blinds, emptied the fridge, and literally cleaned the entire house within an inch of it's life! It was amazing!! So amazing that my husband told me "let's keep them, they're way better at this than we are"! If you knew how tight my hubby pinches pennies, you would understand what a wonderful compliment this is! Since then (this was in September), we've had them in every two weeks, and we've had a few different teams, and we've not been disappointed with our choice! There was one time that we needed a come back on (hey, not everyone is perfect 100% of the time) and Amber herself (the owner) came back to make it right! Now THAT's what I call customer service!! Heather (the customer service rep I deal with) is amazing too, I receive a reminder text the night before our appointments and a follow up text later that same day, or the next, to make sure I was satisfied with the clean. Are they the cheapest cleaners in town? No, but do you really want a cut rate company having full access to your house ad life? Their cleaning techs are very well trained, very polite and respectful, and when they have a new person join their team, John (one of the owners) comes out with them during training to ensure their standards are met every time!
