Pittsabana's team is all of this and more! From the first call to receive a free estimate through to completion, Maria, Ivan and the Pittsabana team were a pure delight to work with. Their knowledgeable and professional service made the potential headache of major home repairs dissolve. I initially contracted Pitttsabana to remove the ineffective box gutters from my 1900 home that had been poorly repaired in what some might call a 'fix and flip'. I called for the estimate on a Friday of a holiday weekend and Ivan showed up first thing Monday morning to take drone imaging of the gutters in order to provide the most accurate estimate. I was provided two estimates: one to repair the existing box gutters and another to remove them and install a seamless aluminum gutter system. In the end, I chose the second. However, upon removing the box gutters, Ivan' team gained access to the attic for the first time as I have no internal access and discovered considerable water damage, NO Insulation, and shingles slapped on top of other shingles to hide the actual state of the roof!! (No wonder my gas/electric bills were so high!) Ivan contacted me immediately with images and knowledge of how to go about fixing the roof, and again I was provided with multiple options to choose from. Ivan was willing to come to the house and patiently walk me through my options, explaining the differences between the plans, as much of this was new to me. This allowed me to pick the plan that best fit both my aesthetic and my budget! Ivan's team arrived early every day, worked diligently, and adapted their work schedule to meet the needs of my family (ending earlier than they otherwise would have one day). They thoroughly cleaned the area every day to ensure that my yard was safe for my dogs. AND they went above and beyond, fixing some 'poorly flipped' items they discovered along the way! By the time all was said and done, I have a functioning gutter system, a STUNNING new roof with proper ventilation, properly lined and capped chimneys, and a crew I would consider friends! 20/10!

Even when he ended up realizing that there would need to be additional work to be done that would come at an additional cost to me, he made sure to talk me through my options, he made recommendations, and never forced me into anything. We started the relationship with our plumber who provided Family Floors as a recommendation when I mentioned that we needed to do a bathroom remodel. I called Family Floors and Chuck came out and talked to me and took a lot of measurements saying he would provide an estimate the next day. The work was for removal of the current tub and tub wall, installation of ceramic tile, new tub, and vinyl flooring. I didn't receive Chuck's estimate the next day, I got it via email that night! Wow! I got a follow-up copy of the estimate in the mail a couple days later. We hired Chuck and I went to their store to pick out the tile and flooring. I worked with Kelly and we managed to pick out a lot. I came back to the store after doing some thinking and to view some additional samples after trying out the ones Kelly and I picked in my bathroom. This time I met with Chuck and he was terrific too. He listened carefully to what I explained, the kind of look I was after, and he made some suggestions himself. We honestly had fun with it all. He and Kelly are both very personable, and you can tell they have years of experience doing this because they stay very professional as well. The job is complete now. And it is absolutely beautiful. To attempt to do a quick summary: Chuck was ALWAYS on time, did the job in the amount of time he told me he had scheduled, he worked steadily from the time he arrived at our house until he was done for the day, he was very, very neat and cleaned up very well at the end of each day. I don't think he realized I saw him, but on the first day, I was planting flowers next to our sidewalk and hadn't swept up all the dirt. The next day, he pulled out his brush and swept off that little corner so that he wouldn't track the dirt into the house during his trips in from his van. Great Service! Excellent Work!…read more I had a VCT floor that was not buffed or waxed in roughly 20 years. The old coat of wax, originally applied, was worn off and nonexistent. This VCT floor, in a maintenance office, was faded, stained and looked beat up and worn. I contacted Sam, the owner of Rhone Floor Maintenance, for stripping and waxing services on this floor. I was very pleased with previous work that Rhone had done on other floors in the Building. Sam was very patient and knowledgeable in explaining the process, of what needed to be done to revive this floor. He stripped, scrubbed and applied multiply layers of wax on this floor making it look almost new. The best part about Rhone's work was his attention to detail. Sam was very meticulous, thoroughly cleaning all corners, wiping off the cove base and covering all to make sure there was no wax splashing on edge strips, cove base and built-in furniture. Sam Rhone Flooring did a great job for a great price!!! I will definitely call him back for future work or refer him to anyone needing floor work done.
