I have been going to the same stylist since 2007 and never trusted anyone else with my hair. We moved to Coconut Creek in 2020 but I was still driving all the way to Hollywood to get my hair cut. When my stylist went on extended medical leave, I decided to try to find something closer to home because my hair just felt lifeless. I popped in on a Friday morning just to ask a few questions. When I asked about appointment availability, they said they could see me after they wrapped up with a client in like 20 min. They were honest about the ingredients in the hair products they use since I have skin allergies. I ran to Publix to buy some shampoo that I can use and they had no problem using that for me to make sure I didn't have any allergic reactions. I was paired with Sabrina who is so kind, attentive, and talented. She asked all the right questions and made all the right suggestions. She was very gentle with me and easy to talk to. She also checked the ingredients in the other hair products before using them since she was aware of my allergies. The prices were quite reasonable too. I am glad I took a chance outside of my comfort zone. I was able to build a similar rapport with Sabrina as I have with the stylist I have been using for 15 years. Absolutely love this place!!!! Clean and great presentation. Let's start with my wash: the young ladies who washed my hair were amazing. They were gentle yet gave the best clean and head massage. The wash includes a deep conditioning treatment which I took! A few minutes under the dryer and back to wash. This left my hair feeling soft and fabulous. They use great products on your hair. No cheap stuff. NOW my hair stylist Sulay, she is a must even if you have to wait for her I recommend you stick with her. She is worth the wait. I moved from NY TO FL and it took me a year to find a stylist that can work with my hair( curly hair). I was use to going to Dominican salons that would straighten my hair to perfection but I was lucky to try out Sulay and that's the only person I will let touch my hair. Oh did I mention she is so personable and friendly ! She knows what she is doing. In conclusion, this salon has great deals and a great stylist! Try them out! GRATEFUL to have found this salon! Wonderful timing. They popped up on Groupon so I called them. They said if I get the Groupon I'd have to wait 48 hours to make the appointment. BUT they'll honor the Groupon price so I instead could come in ASAP. Score! I made an appointment the following day for full highlights, cut, and style. I was excited that they could squeeze me in so soon. I went in on a Friday and my appointment was with Becca. We sat down and talked about my hair. This was my first time getting my hair colored (bleached in this case for highlights) professionally so I was super nervous. She totally understood me and what I wanted, and got to work on the highlights. She explained I would have to pay $25 extra for toner since I didn't want the highlights to be TOO bright, and I obliged. She was meticulous with the highlights and really took her time. I felt at ease. Several hours and a cut later and I am in LOVE with my hair. She did an excellent job. Next time I won't even get the toner, I feel like it's taking away from how awesome the highlights turned out. The cut was also exactly what I wanted. I'm excited to go back to this salon the next time I need to get my hair done! The prices are reasonable and Becca rocks. read more

Everyone there is so friendly, the prices are reasonable, and Candy is a sweetheart. Her scalp massage during the shampoo was wonderful. I first scheduled a consultation to discuss with Amanda my hair needs and concerns. She was very understanding and really made me feel comfortable. I scheduled my appointment for the following week. I had a full head of highlights, a deep condition and a hair trim. I met a few of the other hairdressers and they were all very nice. Sabrina assisted Amanda with my wash, conditon, and toner. Well.... I've been going to Blast Salon for several months and At first had no issues. I was very happy with my highlights and Karati. I'm not sure what happened this last timeI went in for Toner that I normally get. I came out as a brunette. My highlights were gone. I've never had this issue before I mentioned it to my hairdresser. She assured me it's the same one she always uses, but that's not true!!! I went from blonde to brunette. Without one Highlight on my head I spoke to my friend that also goes there and she told me that the same hairdresser had done the same thing to her hair and when she asked the Hairdresser to fix it, she was told she had to pay for them to redo her highlights. We both drive from Boca Raton to that salon. They have lost two customers. I'm very annoyed And will not be going back. I'm not sure if this is their way of trying to make more money, but it's wrong. read more
