I have been coming here since they opened years ago. Sure, sometimes I try places closer to my home, but I always wind up back here. I live in Delray, so I plan my appointments in advance with Sandy. She does the best pedicures, and I leave so relaxed, and my fingers and toes look great. I don't understand the poor reviews, because this is a very busy salon. They are always busy, which is why making an appointment is so important. The nail salon is clean and they don't rush your service. I should have read the reviews before giving this place a shot. I was in the neighborhood and needed a simple manicure, so I walked in. Unfortunately, the polish was applied so unevenly and thick in parts, they smudged even hours after I left. And worse yet, within two days of the service, my nails were already peeling - like I needed another manicure - ugh! Money down the drain. Now, five days later, my nails look awful. Everything about my experience with this salon could be improved. I've had a lifetime of manicures and pedicures, and I should've followed my instincts when I got my first manicure here. Actually, I should've asked to see the license of the technician that was doing my nails. I'm not a complainer. However, I am now in the hands of a dermatologist and on medication. Ada is amazing. I will show her a picture of a nail design I like and she will make my nails look like the picture I showed her. She will also show me some designs that she discovered and do my nails like the design I choose. The guy who I believe is the manager (my apologies for not knowing his name) is so nice, he welcomes everyone who comes in with a smile and hearty greeting. The other nail techs are great too. I've been seeing Thai (not sure if that's how you spell her name)- and she is WONDERFUL! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the smell of nail polish remover is SO strong. I almost always get light headed when I'm here but I'm also sensitive to things of those sorts. Better ventilation or some plants that help remove air impurities and for sure would give 5 stars. The price has never changed for me and it's very transparent as my nail tech brings me to the front and enters in front of me what was done. I got a pedicure on thursday afternoon, and the next night started to get really bad pain in my big toe. When I investigated further, they had done such a poor job of trimming and filing that the edge of my nails were super sharp and digging into the side of my toe. They also filed the skin on one foot and left 2 visible abrasions on one toe. Do not recommend. I am going to the store to complain tomorrow. I have not had my feet-claws done in a very long time (thanks 'Rona!), so I was very much looking forward to this treat with my friend. I wasn't sure what to expect with the wait today. It was Fathers Day, so I thought maybe women would be with their fathers/husbands etc but it was pretty busy. We only waited about 10 minutes, which was nice. They seated us together which was also nice. My friend and I were chatting the whole time so didn't get a chance to speak much to the technicians. And we were done in like 15-20 minutes, which was the fastest pedicure we've both ever gotten. It was ok, and "Kenny" (Taijun) was nice, but he was a bit rough with my feet-claws. A pretty rushed experience for $31- I felt like for that price I should have gotten a little more. I wonder if they treat walk-ins differently than people with reservations. Or if it was so rushed because of Fathers Day. At any rate, it definitely wasn't a spa-like experience, we weren't offered drinks or anything, and were not asked to choose our colors beforehand. At the end, I didn't realize that the technician who did my pedicure would be ringing me up on a little machine, and that I wouldn't be paying at the register (it was hectic and distracting). I apologized and the lady who did my friends pedicure said, "Yeah, we all look the same". I was quite taken aback by that. And when trying to hold them accountable the workers are defensive and belligerent. There can be somewhat of a language barrier but that doesn't impact the quality of service. I got a basic manicure for $22. The shop was very busy when I arrived at 4 o'clock for my 4:30 appointment. I selected my polish from the wall of polish and was serviced quickly. All employees appeared busy servicing customers. I have been offered water, soda or wine in the past but was not offered anything this visit. There are a lot of signs throughout the location, 'dry off before you enter', sanitize before touching the polish bottles', 'don't leave pedicure kits here'. There is plenty of parking. read more

Currently, they are following strict Broward County guidelines for COVID19. You can expect to wash your hand immediately upon receiving service and be seated at your mani or pedi space. Recliners are made to massage. The nail tech was nice up until I told him I didnt like how he applied my overlay it was to short. He replied why don't you like it you asked for short and I replied yes not that short. Please fix it. He was clearly upset and started speaking in Vietnamese to his colleague next to him. After reading the reviews for Venetian in Coconut Creek Promenade Shops, i realize i am not alone in saying, please believe all the BAD reviews. they are spot on. This place used to be pretty good, but the management changed about 2 years ago and since then, it's gotten bad on many levels. The pricing keeps getting more expensive, seems like every couple of months there is a price increase, but the quality of service and cleanliness is much worse now. There are so many nail salons in the area, there is no reason to go to Venetian Coconut Creek, unless you want to be treated poorly and physically harmed. I'm not being dramatic, literally my husband and I were both cut to the point of bleeding by two different techs and not even an apology. The techs spoke English and they each pretended to ignore the blood and just continued on, even when we said it hurt. The cut got red and it hurt so it seemed like a possible infection. Also, my tech didn't use a wood stick to clean up the polish, they used their sharp fingernail! This dug into my skin so hard it hurt. This can't acceptable by health code, can it? You cant say anything to management for anything at all because they don't care. Please do NOT give your business to this place, I promise this and the other bad reviews are all true. read more

The absolute worst salon for a walk-in manicure. I frequent this location every two weeks for almost 5 years now with the same nail tech and have never had an issue with him however the RARE occasion I have a conflict and need to walk in I regret it. Today I had the worst manicure I have ever had in 20+ years. When I checked out I asked the girl upfront for my techs name so that I did not ever get her again and with her usual snotty attitude she told me "37, we go by numbers here". How an establishment does not even have enough respect for their employees to use their names when referring to them is beyond me in today's world. Usually have a great experience. My usual tech Duc was not available so they assigned another guy to me. Everything was ok until I told him I didn't like the color, he was still dipping and filing at this stage. I chose a peach color and on my nails it was beige/brown. He got very angry, and stormed off and got another sample ringlet for me to pick another color. His reaction scared me and I told him I was not angry, but I've never seen a color appear so incorrect and couldn't walk out of here with it. I didn't speak the entire rest of the appointment because he was annoyed at me. Seeing it darker is one thing due to the layers, but it was completely incorrect as far as coloring. Instead of removing it, he filed and dipped OVER the brown color to save himself time and effort. The result was sloppy, lumpy and misshapen but I accepted it, tipped him and left. I NEVER left a bad review before, EVER. But what happened to me was horrifying. I used to be a regular at venetian. Mostly because it's right across the street from my house so it's more convenient. I went to go take my acrylic nails off. The lady who assisted me was too lazy to soak off my nails and used another acrylic nail to try and lift the corner of my nails off. She kept peeling parts of my nail up and it kept hurting. One of my nail was having trouble lifting and she forcefully peeled the nail off. it was extremely painful! A corner of my nail was lifted and I was bleeding quite a lot. I made a comment and she said she was going to fix it and proceeded to get NAIL GLUE and put it over my OPEN WOUND. She didn't ask if it was okay to do that, or most importantly, offer for me to wash my hands or sanitize the area before hand. I was SHOCKED at how unsanitary and unsafe that was.... After I got back to my senses, I saw a bottle of hand sanitizer in the other station, reached over, and put it over my nail. I now have an infection, and had to go an urgent care because my finger wouldn't stop pulsing and hurting. They gave me antibiotics and a cream. The visit was expensive (obviously) and could've been completely avoided if it wasn't for the lack of care and customer service at this horrible place. They also proceeded to overcharge me. Im still in shock. I HIGHLY suggest to go to another place, or else you too might have to pay for an urgent care visit. Who knows what other sketchy things they do.
