It was hard to get to this place has there was a farmers market going on. But what a great place! I came for ice cream, but wanted to order a hot dog. So many things on the menu looked great. No one was behind the ice cream counter when I arrived, but soon a youngster made their way over and very pleasantly greeted and assisted me. I was surprised there was no chocolate chip ice cream. I ended up ordering a flavor a rarely if ever order...maple nut. The nut being walnut. On a plain waffle cone. As you can see from the photo, there were a number of very tempting dipped and sprinkled cones. Might have to try one of those next time. That ice cream was so rich and flavorful, I may have to order it again. After I have lunch there. read more

Great soda fountain with ice cream and fun items like phosphates. The full grill menu looked good but we only got treats which were delicious- I will be back for the orange creamsicle phosphate the next time i'm passing through! Great Cubano style sandwich and ice cream! Painted a mug that I may keep for myself or give as an Xmas gift depending on how it turns out lol! The sandwich was delicious, melted cheese, ham, pickles and mustard very much an approximation of a good Cubano panini style! Their mini ice cream cones are a perfect size for desert. Such a unique and wonderful place for Yreka! A very cool art studio where you can pick out your own pieces to paint and have kiln fired into your own artwork, mixed with a soda fountain that serves great sandwiches and soups and ice cream! I used to come to this soda fountain as a kid to get ice cream. Very cherished memories. And the fact that something so nostalgic in my childhood remains alive in this town, with an art studio added on top of it to liven it up, makes it a whirlwind of a place. Check it out. I've only tried a few items so far, but the Spinach and Chicken Strawberry salad is my favorite! I never would've thought that mixing spinach, strawberries, avacado, bacon, and almonds would work but it DOES..and sesame dressing to top it off! Talya and Jackie are the best!!! We had a huge party there and it went without a hitch! It was a surprise party for my Niece and my Sister and it was perfect. The staff helped me to paint a beautiful cow picture on canvas, it came out so good I will keep it forever. The owner is clearly artistically gifted, it must be hereditary because her talent just cannot be taught. If you want a great lunch, have them make you a burnt grilled Hot Dog, you will love it. We came back for ice cream last Saturday when it was hot and I was surprised on the endless combinations that are available there.
