Had a blast doing laser tag here! We went in a group of 7. If you're looking for an activity for a large group of people, this would be perfect. It's a huge room that's 3 stories tall, and could fit way more people than 7. They said it's the 3rd largest laser tag room in Texas and the 5th largest in the country! The ramps/bridges are like a maze and make it really fun. Considering the height of the peek holes, it's more built for adults than kids, but kids could play on the ground level. It was $20.80 for two games for us, each game lasted about 20 minutes (it feels like longer) and we were tapped out after 2 games. First round we did individual and second round we did 2 randomized teams. You can't make a reservation unless it's a birthday party, but we waited less than 30 minutes to play our first game. You can play the arcade games while you wait. There didn't seem to be many people playing laser tag actually. The arcade is small but has fun games. You purchase coins and get paper tickets, the old-fashioned way! The only confusing part to me was the gems, I didn't really understand how that worked and the intro video barely touched on it. The scoring system is more complicated than expected (the employee didn't seem to know how it worked either) and they give you your score cards at the laser tag counter after your game. It's off the highway and there's tons of parking available.

We were in Austin on a very rainy day and were looking for something fun to do with our 11 year old. After having toured the Texas Capitol, I looked for something nearby. Blazer laser stood out from its description of a multi-level arena. It's like a very high tech game of hide and seek. Also, it's HUGE! Plenty of fun spots to hide, powerups to acquire, and fun to be had. At around $7 per person per 15 minute game - it was a great deal! This was on a Thursday where they have specials and just about everything. Their equipment and blasters are clean and high tech. They also have an arcade with lots of games of chance - with a little bit of skill and luck you can win lots of tickets! Our son won just over 2,000 tickets and had a blast.

I took my kids to a birthday party here and they had the time of their life! I love that they give you actual coin tokens, and you get actual tickets unlike other places which have resorted to using those plastic cards. It's fun. It's nostalgic. Their pizza was pretty good and they even have a bar there for the parents. The laser tag area was pretty awesome. It's multi levels and there's lots of places to hide. They give you a briefing before you go in, which is helpful because we had never done. It had no idea what to expect. They have air hockey skee ball and a ton of other arcade games 10/10 recommend.

My daughter celebrated her birthday in stlye last week with her friends with two rounds of laser tag. The assigned birthday party room was clean, functional for our numbers and the service host was very helpful with friendly personality. Dads can order a cold one on tap to help them through all of the excitement from screaming kids with streams of tickets in hand from arcade games.

Great way to beat the Austin heat! I visited with my daughter for laser tag and we had a blast. It's got a real funky old school vibe. I love that you actually use tokens for the arcade games and receive tickets when so many spots have switched to cards. The laser tag game lasts 20 minutes and there are so many levels and dark corners to ensure victory!!! So glad this place exists!

I was expecting to have fun, maybe even partially decided to come here as part of a funny little bit for my friends and I. I could have never expected a 3 story arena that was full of very energetic and competitive adults. We were there towards the end of the day on a Friday night and it was most fun I have ever had. A game of laser tag at Blazer Tag is twenty minutes of being in primal fight of flight mode. The people in here take this game so serious and it is so incredibly fun. The workers were also so sweet and very adamant that we didn't know laser tag until we have played it here. They could not have been more right. I have never dropped and rolled more in my life. I am slightly afraid of the person I became in that arena, in the BEST way possible. The prices were amazing, the ambiance was nostalgic. It is the BIGGEST laser tag arena in Texas, you cannot miss it. It will ruin all other laser tag arenas for you. If anyone visits me here they will be going to Blazer Tag wether they want to or not. A true Austin gem.

Definitely recommend the breadsticks and wings !!!

This place is so amazing ! We did three rounds of blazer laser tag . The food was so good actually . We got wings , pizza , snow cones and loved all of it. The customer service was 10/10 , the guy was amazing and we got to change our names for each game , which was so cool .

Perfect location for hosting a party. The general manager and entire staff were amazing and they genuinely care about making your experience memorable. Some of the kids were a little nervous about playing laser tag, but within a few minutes they were all having a blast. As a parent I felt at ease knowing there's staff inside the arena when the game is going on to make sure the little ones are okay. The kids and adults enjoyed the pizza even our pickiest eater had 2 slices. The hostess made sure our food was brought out to us at the time that was most adequate for our party. She made sure there was plenty of cutlery and drinks the entire time. The facility is a little older, but the party room was clean and the hosted would often go in to make sure everything was okay and still tidy. The bathrooms were also very clean. I would highly recommend blazer tag for a birthday party or corporate event. With such an amazing experience I'm ready to go back again!

Ask the Community - Blazer Tag Adventure Center

How much does it cost for a kid here?

    $221.

Can a five year old play with his dad?

We recommend children be 7 or older due to the weight of the vest and the darkness in the arena BUT if you are going to play with them you are more than welcome to make that decision

If I lived closer I would would be at this joint two or three times a week, and in the best shape of my life. The games are all fast paced and high energy, but does it feel like a workout? I just know that I loved it in a way that I haven't loved physical activity since I was in my teens. The staff was all super friendly too. The perfect kind of friendly as well. Polite, informative, but not all fake high energy/chatty like your at a kids camp. It was nothing but good vibes. It was fairly busy when we went, which means we had to cycle through rooms pretty fast, but there are so many rooms!
