Then - they take care of the kiddos (and novice adults too) ensuring that everyone picks games the like, and have instructions on how to play (if needed). Stacey watched the outside gamers, Travis stayed inside with the VR players. The biggest and the toughest critics were the kiddos- and they all had a great time playing with the Metaverse games. They tell us to come back in 15-20 minutes so we decide we'll go to the bar that's walking distance. We grab and drink and come back, there's people suiting up, the people who had a reservation AFTER us. They did not call or text us letting us know to come since it was our turn to go. They tell us to wait so we did in our cars. After 15 minutes we go inside. A man named Sloan, apologized on his coworkers behalf and gave us some extra bottle to smash. They allocate 20 minutes per party on the website so the turn around is fast. If a party takes too long it throws off the whole schedule. Sloan was very nice and we had a great time once it was our time to go. We got to play our own music and since we brought extra things to smash we used up the whole 20 minutes.

It was so easy, we had someone who helped run the party super smooth and was ahead of us on everything including cake and clean up. All of the kids had a total blast!!! The best part was no one in our group had ever been there and that's what my little wanted. She wanted a birthday party place she has never been to a party before and we sure found it. The kids favorite parts were the hologram game rooms after the walkthrough experience and of course the arcade. The loved the walk through part but many got "bored" during the 3rd pass through but most of the other kids were really still enjoying it. So many parents were like how did you find this place? Once the headsets were on, it didn't take long to get pulled into the game. I found myself ducking, leaning and more than once telling my husband to be careful about getting so close to the edge of a drop off. We were all laughing and talking about it afterward. Before you start, they have free lockers where you can leave your purse or anything else you don't want to carry while playing. This is such a great bonus! The wonderful staff members explained everything before we got started and made sure we knew how to use the equipment. It was easy to follow along, even for us first timers. I get motion sickness easily and after about thirty minutes I started feeling like it might happen so I just lifted my headset and reminded myself that I'm just in a big blank room and that helped. My only complaint is that management should make sure the pathways for disabled people are not being blocked by signage. If you're looking for something different to do, I'd definitely recommend ZooCade. We all had a great time, and I'm ready to go back and try one of the other adventures.

Bring water, a hat, and good walking shoes - it can take up to 2 hours but is very fun with a group of 4. Also, make sure someone has strong internet connection - it is necessary for some of the clues. You only walk 2-3 blocks one way and there's plenty of places with shade and tables to rest in between, so it is very doable for anyone of any fitness level and the puzzles are accessible to all. Plus, Mission Control is responsive for when you're stuck and meets you in person throughout the experience! Very fun! We were greeted by our tour guide, who gave us everything that we needed to make sure that we had an incredible afternoon. And we did. I could not recommend this more if you've got five or more people coming in I wanted to go out and have some fun in Austin. You'll make lots of memories have lots of laughs and see lots of things you may not have seen before. So don't be afraid that people are gonna be bored, because they won't. We did open play where we played with anyone and were taken to multiple arenas/fields then divided in two groups of 20+ people each. Every field had different game rules and geography which made the games exciting. Wear comfortable clothing and running shoes. You may get splattered or shot with paint so bring something you're not afraid to get messy. Paint should wash off easily!

Celtic Axe Throwing - Austin is a separate business but housed in the Brewtorium. Yes, throw axes!!! It appears to be thing. While I waited, I thought you have never thrown axes on a board. Let's do this darn thang! Have I thrown darts? Yes! Have I shot arrows at a bulls eye? Yep! Have I gone skeet shooting? You betcha! Why not throw axes to add it to my games with a little danger? What is the worst that could happen? Loose a finger or toe...perhaps get knocked in the head from a poor throw? Well none of these thoughts scared me. I did have to sign a waiver disclaimer. This is what should have sent me sprinting out of the building. You always have to face your fear. I did it with no lost body parts...not even a scratch. It was a ton of fun. Highly recommend it, but do be careful.
