I wish I could give a non-rated review because my issue isn't one that I really expect Austin's to fix. So, the 3 stars is for the activities experience and not the allergen food experience. If I did rate the food experience, it would have been negative stars, but because I don't expect Austin's to fix it, I am not factoring that into the rating I am giving them. But, I want to write the review to let other gluten free patrons know not to expect any precautions to be taken when preparing the GF pizza. My daughter is 17 and asked for the GF pizza and asked if the cook could change their gloves. The lady said no and she also told my daughter it didn't matter anyway because they would not use foil under the pizza or a clean slicer. So the pizza may as well have been a regular one with that much cross-contamination. The other reviews I saw on yelp about the GF experience made us hopeful that Austin's actually tried. But, that's not the case at all. I have always told my daughter that celiac disease is her cross to bear and not to expect others to cater to her needs. It's always very refreshing to find restaurants that are 100% GF or that take precautions because we know how special that is, but for those that don't, we can't fault them for it because it's not anyone's duty to care for her but us. So, those are places we just don't go to. So, activities are 3 stars, they are average. And food, I did not rate. Those with celiac, eat before you go is my advice. They have huge signs outside that outside food and drink are not allowed. I don't know if they would allow anything to be taken in for those with allergies. It wasn't worth it for us to ask. My daughter went with a group and it was completely paid for, but we would never go back if we had to pay for it. read more

I truly don't understand why this place doesn't have a solid 5 star rating. We have been 3x recently (both on slooow days and when it's so busy the entire city seems to be there) and their device is always 100% on point. Their packages are a great deal, you can eat and drink all day (great for the kids to pop in and get a drink or snack when needed and go back out. The salad bar alone is enough reason for me to go back to eat there. Everything was fresh and crisp on the salad bar. The pizzas and other food were replenish non-stop and it was always hot and fresh. They always had cups, ice, and drinks available. I am serious. I'm picky and I can't think of something to complain about here. The rides are always a hit with the kids. Mine will spend 8 or 9 hours there - happily. My husband joked that it should be a place for summer camps. 4 of our group didn't want the buffet and got burgers and taquitos from the restaurant. my husband is quite the food snob and said that the burger was awesome and gave me a bite. I agreed. The bacon was like a thick cut slab of pork belly. If I didn't enjoy the salad bar so much I would definitely get the burger, but I can have the best of both worlds and eat some of his next time. This was an event organized by my boyfriend's employer, so we didn't pay to attend. And based on what I've seen I wouldn't want to spend any money here. We had tickets for one attraction each but couldn't even use them. There was virtually no staff present at most areas such as pull tables, mini golf, even nobody at the gift shop/prize shop. The food at the buffet was also very sad. Mac&cheese was tasteless; all pizza options had huge bubbles of dough, meaning it was not cooked properly, also pretty much flavorless. Came here on a weekend for a work event and there was almost no one working and servicing areas that were needed. Putting golf, giant claw machine, prize shop, ect. There was a large room of darts and pool tables. But same situation. The buffet food was very mid. They only offered salad, mac n cheese, pizza, orange chicken. The pizza was a hot or miss. We always have a fun time when we come here but special shout out to the staff!! This particular night we had a party next to us and their little ones kept getting in our lanes which was running out our time and we didn't get to bowl much. They handled it so well when we mentioned it and gave us additional playing time back. Thank you so much. My children had a blast and they even apologized for the mishap. Sometimes it's just how you handle the customers that makes all the difference. We come here quite often since it's in the back of our neighborhood lol and each time the staff is friendly and helpful. Also the food is good. Had an amazing time at Austin's on a rainy July 4th weekend! The place is well managed and spacious with something for all ages. Visited on July 4th and it was not crowded with many options that kept the kids and adults entertained alike. All the staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed some pizza and drinks at the attached restaurant that was excellent. We didn't try the putt putt but definitely would like to in the future. Perfect place to take the visiting grandkids! Though a little pricey it was well worth it as I could comfortably sit on the shady patio while they ran around (5 of them) knowing they would be safe and check in with me. I did have to sign waiver at the rock wall for each of them and that was a favorite! I went to Austin's for a QT event and had such a good time. The pizza was surprisingly delicious, and the mini golf was a lot of fun, but the best part was the theatre in the back! It instantly took me back to being a kid. It was like a roller coaster meets a Godzilla movie--I was not ready for the seats to start moving with the story! It was wild and so cool. Honestly, I knocked out with a great nap after all that fun. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting Austin, families with little ones, or even teens. Went to Austin's for the first time today with my six year old. Spacious facility with so many activities to choose from! My daughter loved the indoor roller coasters (so unique) and the arcade games. The space itself is so big that it doesn't feel crowded. However, the lines for everything move very slowly and inefficiently. The staff is disinterested and are not very helpful. The food on-site is also very mediocre. I think it's ridiculous that we're not even allowed to bring our kids water bottles inside. Really cool spot but there is much room for improvement. read more

When I went to ride a ride with my son the woman told me I need to be under a certain weight. I told her I was under that number and she didn't believe me, so she made me step on a scale to prove that I was under, which I was 20 pounds under the threshold. It was honestly just really embarrassing. I feel that they should have a different protocol. Maybe say all adults need to be weighted prior to getting on the ride, don't tell me the weight I need to be under, and then not believe me in front of everyone and force me on a scale. read more

They family had been dying to go here every single time we drive by. Finally, I was able to make their wish come true. We did it all: bowling, mini golf and arcade games. We had food and drinks. We spent many hours having fun. So much fun, that my oldest says she keeps dreaming about the fun. We were here on a Monday afternoon when we thought it might be a little bit more crowded since it was the holiday season, but it was perfectly spacious for us. Fun! The kids and I loved all of it, except the long waiting line in the burning Sun. A water station right there by each waiting line, would be recommendable. Signs to get water prior to waiting would help customers to get water beforehand to help them beat that heat. The lines are long by the bumper boats and the double karts. And there is also no way to out of that line, as the fence is maybe 8, 9 foot high. Don't go there if you're claustrophobic. I'm only 5.2" and I felt stuck, and thirsty. But that wait resulted in the best ride. The 2 seat karting experience (adult w/kids next to each other) allowed an quality experience with my lil' one. And my tall big teen who loved being able to kart by himself, got his excitement out too! The Fire house, was cute. Different controllers resulted in different speeds and intensity. One round made us really sick being too fast and wobbly. The drop down tower is cool! Didn't get to use the bumper boats because of very little boats available and only 1 staff to dock and release them. The buffet is not recommendable. 16.99 is too steep for the 2 slices of pizza and a scoop of not fresh salad we had. Kids had fun, but an admission price of $45 plus, per person (not including the arcade expenses, is just ridiculous. So price value does not match. Still fun, but not worth that price. read more

We went to Austin's the week between Christmas and new year. It wasn't overcrowded. We decided after reading reviews not to do the buffet and just to get four wristbands and do the rides and things included with that and to skip the arcade as well. We had a completely enjoyable experience and ended up spending quite a lot of time there. my husband and I also had a couple drinks at the bar while we let the kids explore a lot of the inside activities. There is just some aesthetic things that made it not get the full five stars for example the lack of availability of waters or sodas or things outside and then no trash receptacles on the two miniature golf courses that were outside or other places. read more

We were visiting the area and decided to check out Austin's. We visited during our fall break in the first week of November. This was a Tuesday afternoon and it was not busy at all. We bought an al carte play card and play all the games that was available. We tried the laser tag, go kart racing, and bowling. It seems like they were short staff that day because it took some time for workers to come and service each ride. Staff were not really stationed at the entrances and we had to wait a few minutes before go on the rides. We had no issues with the rides and during the time we went was not busy at all. Overall, if you have smaller kids, its a nice place to visit if your are bored and have nothing to do. read more

We just left and though we had a good time I must say was totally disappointed with the bathroom situation. Several toilet were not flushed which meant you know what and there was no toilet paper in the working ones and no paper to dry hands with. I have been here 2 time in a few days after a 10 year hiatus! I would strongly suggest the band where you get unlimited play!! Totally worth it if you are staying any length of time! They have redone so much in the time that I have been away! Real quick about the bowling, it sucks, the pins are on strings and it's just juvenile. If you are a bowler you will probably not care for this. That being said, the kids liked it. We stayed out of the main arcade and didn't want to go near the buffet but the food in Revel was good. I had the carnitas salad and it was huge. I almost didn't finish it but it was too good not to finish! My daughter had the steak tacos both times, nuff said! We ventured into the restaurant said where the cool games are and roller coaster is! They have a big porch with comfy chairs for parents to lounge in while the kids go play. Revel looks to have dart boards, billiards, ping-pong and other adult inky games! We didn't do puttputt or the water boats but it seemed the kids and adults playing were having a good time. We ended the party with the birthday boy sobbing, which is not what we hoped for after spending about $500 on the party. After waiting in the go-cart line for half an hour, my son and his brother were near the front. The operator let in a handful of people, then closed the gate when my boys were up next. The birthday boy got frustrated and left the line to come tell me and his mom that they closed the gate with some carts still empty. It turns out the operator was still loading, so he opened the gate and let more people on. One son was let on, but when the birthday boy ran back to get let on, he was turned away. The other people at the front of the line were supportive, but the operator told a crying, 10-year-old, birthday boy that he couldn't let him on. We talked to the manager, Tori, about how this played out, and she said rules were rules, and they couldn't make exceptions. I really don't get it. That's a weird hill to die on. In the end, it left a very bad taste in our mouths, and between Main Event, Pinstack, Pinballz, and Dave & Buster's, I can't see a reason to come back to Austin's Park and Pizza again. read more

Came here for a weekend kids birthday party and the facility is actually great. Lots of activities including a roller coaster and go karts. The arcade areas are clean and spacious so they don't feel overly crowded. But the staff is poorly trained and ruins much of the experience. I get that these are minimum wage positions so you're mainly hiring teenagers. But there doesn't seem to be any management of these kids or training to teach them to do their jobs. Absolute Garbage fire of an establishment, DO NOT book birthday parties at this establishment. We booked a birthday party suit for my sons 3rd birthday and the time slot we had for the room was 5pm, we arrived at 4:20pm to ensure we had enough time to check in and allow the personnel know of our presence. That being said we checked in and asked that our child's CAKE be refrigerated which they said they would do on the phone call before we even arrived. We checked in and reiterated that we would like the cake chilled and thought none of it as the receptionist told us everything was good to go and we'd be taken care of, she notified us that our party host would meet us in the main lobby 10 minutes prior to the time our room was ready. We walked around and played games for the 40 minutes until we headed back up around the time we were told we would have been meeting our host. This is where things took a turn, 5pm rolls around and we hear nothing we check with the receptionist and we were told that the room was not yet ready and we thought none of it because sometimes things happen. 15 minutes go by and I decided to go ask the receptionist what the deal was and she informed me that they had no idea of what was going on, then that's when I noticed my sons cake sitting on the counter behind them at the receptionist desk. It had been SITTING OUT for a whole HOUR. I get really frustrated and I see that the operation manager was also at the receptionist desk but currently busy. I can admit I'm frustrated so I say that I'm glad that the OPM was at the desk and I couldn't wait to see what he thinks and that they would need to learn better service. He then stops what he was doing to ask me "Who are you talking to?" I then replied "To all of you" but then he got real disrespectful and nasty with me talking to me as if he was crazy and wanted to be snatched from behind that desk. His words were "I match Energy wit Energy" because he knew nothing about us and wasn't the one that took care of us I then told him the situation and about the cake and he said that he didn't know anything and that we didn't give the cake to him so he wouldn't know about it. AGAIN HES THE OPERATION MANAGER. How would you not know. Long story short we are having a screaming match on the main lobby in front of everyone. To the point where I wanted to beat his ass. Excuse the vulgar language but that's how heated I was and he did not care about anything but matching energy. We decided to stay because I couldn't ruin my kids Birthday and we drove an hour to get there plus it was already 5. We got to the room I asked to speak to the highest management member and as I went down stairs to meet some other friends I was alerted by my wife that the manager was at the room but not just him they showed up with A POLICE OFFICER as if me being upset about the money we spent at this establishment was chump change. Moral of the story DONT do parties there and also to many bad children running around and they drunk parents do not care if they disrespect or cut you in any line. The employees are all DEI hires and have no control over any aspect. The only good thing was our Party Host Trey she was cool and kept a good professional attitude. That's about it. Just don't do it not worth it and the name of the disrespectful Operation Manager was JORGE. If you do see him if you decide to go just remind him he a lame. That'll be all. Quick question when summertime comes, the heat is unbearable and you live near Austin, what are you going to do? You can take those little "summer demons" (my kids turn evil when they're bored) to Chuck-E-Cheese for the umpth-teen time or try a more grown up yet kid appropriate adventure just north of Austin at Austin's Park! Located about 15 miles north of Austin, conveniently located just off of I-35, Austin's Park has ample parking and a huge facility to accommodate a large crowd. I arrived right as they opened at 11am on a Tuesday in July and there were 6 or so other families of varying sizes. The patrons were all very polite and fun people, save one 10 year old kid who incurred my wrath (in a playful way) but more on that later. Once you enter, hit the front desk first to get your tickets, depending on what package you want. The prices here are pretty steep depending on what you like. I opted for the $50 package which included all unlimited attractions and the buffet but not arcade games. As an adult, the buffet is not very good. They did have salads, not very good pasta, and pizza with unlimited fountain drinks. I recommend it if on a budget and have a small crew of "smurfs" on your hands. I'm not going to mention every activity b/c you can check the website for all that info, rather I'll give my impression of what we participated in to shed some light. The arcade is literally everywhere inside a very well air-conditioned facility. Games range from "skill games" (honestly, they're rigged but yet, the term skill is used). Some of the games like the large claw run as much as $4 and other games like Galaxian are $1. They're pricy but hey, it's about those "little amped up sugar bandits" we call kids right? There's a decent little roller coaster inside which does two passes per ride. My 15 and 12 year olds said it was slow, but there again they've been to Cedar Point which has the worlds fastest coasters, for comparison. Outside grab thy sword aka a putter and enjoy two 18 holes courses of putt putt. Since my kids were complaining I had to lay the royal smackdown and beat they by at least 10 strokes. The layouts are fun and challenging while not being overly difficult. Remember the 10 yr old? Lets address that little fart bandit now. I was getting my kids in their bumper boats as I feel rain on a cloudless day. I look over and this blonde haired turd monkey shooting me and looking me directly in the eyes with an evil satisfaction. Game on little one. I get in my bumper boat and proceed to rain down a hailstorm from heaven. I drenched that little pest so bad he was complaining to his mom, which at that point, joined me in drenching that little punk. Yes, revenge can be in the form of millions of H2O molecules. After getting wet on a hot day, my little mini-me's and I did one of the race tracks, not the beginner or slick, but the fastest one. They're very safe and S-L-O-W. I couldn't pass anyone and never took my foot off the gas. Since I was pretending to be a racecar driver, I was cutting every corner but I still lagging behind. Alas, this ride is for kids who are developing road rage, not a parent imposing their dominate driving skills upon those whom he'll soon share the road with. All in all it was fun for the family. We went back in for some Laser tag. Since this is an open carry state I had no problem carrying a futuristic laser and blasting all those little pests around me in dominate fashion. Lots of fun and plenty of room in the arena while hiding behind pillars, walls and sneaking up on those who don't pay attention. Finally we tried a shooter/ride game which was surprisingly entertaining. You sit with up to 7 other people and the ride shakes, fans blow air, and the huge screen has animated videos, in our case clowns, with a nice speaker system to envelop everyone into the experience. Since I'm former military I scored first over the things that follow me around and call me "dad" as well as some other mutants about their height. Check my pics for the evil in my eyes! In summary, Austin's Park is a very fun place with a LOT of activities for the family. I only touched on what we did and there were tons more activities to enjoy. Also, there are two other bar areas for parents who need an adult beverage after kids give migraines for no reason at all as well as a better food options at the bars. I would suggest Austin's Place as an alternative to other more worn out options that parents might be accustom to leveraging. The only draw back is the sticker shock but I suppose it the facility is a "Park" thus higher prices. read more

Great place to teach kids to learn how to drive on the Go-karts. There's two race tracks. There's one, the cars go faster than the other one. There's a roller coaster, that ride does go fast, and the arcade games are fun. I just didn't like the food at all, it was really bad, but it has its advantages from not leaving the park, but I would rather leave to get something good. read more

We were simply out for a night of bowling. It was a last minute decision on a Saturday night so it was fortunate they were able to give us a lane for an hour without a wait. If you are just out for a night of fun... you don't take your bowling too serious (or serious at all) this is a good place. But if you are serious about your bowling, you might want to pass on this place. Again, we were immediately given a lane for an hour. This seems to be more of a place to go with kids. The lights over the pins change colors and I don't think I've ever been to an alley where the pins were connected to wires/cables. It's an interesting concept, however, frequently, we lost pins from the score when they dropped late. It seems as soon as the ball hits the back, those cables are already pulling the pins and if one is starting to fall because a pin shot across and struck it... you will likely lose that point. Or if the pin is slow to fall... there is an option to "correct" your score, but seems ridiculous. The floor is clean but not very well polished. I'm used to floors that are nicely polished and you can get a bit of a slide. But if you have ever slide in a traditional alley, you are not going to get that here. Once you plant your foot... it's like stepping onto grip tape. You aren't going anywhere. I planted and expected to slide an inch or two but was caught off the first few throws when I abruptly stopped and the ball just flung out of my hand. We tried to order service at the alley but nobody came. The bar area isn't a far walk but just would have been nice to have someone come and take your order instead of pausing the entire game to go and wait for an order. Overall, if you are looking for a place to bowl and it's last minute... this might be a good option. But if you are even halfway serious about your bowling, just go and make reservations at one of the many traditional bowling alleys. If you are out with the kids and it's just for fun, this is probably an idea place. read more

My niece and I went to Austin's there on the Labor Day weekend. Now I'm 52 and she is 24. We both enjoyed ourselves and didn't leave until we were pooped. The go carts and laser tag was yesssss!!!
