Open late night and hard to find parking as it has a small parking lot that fits 5-6 cars. Street parking is not available or far away. Most of the times end up ordering the platter that comes with rice, proteins, small portion of salad, fries, and sauce. They good, but I think the portion is a bit small, would be better if they served more...

Finally a Mediterranean inspired restaurant offer food that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. With their affordable menu and countless options, there is truly sometime for everyone and you can even have a few dessert without breaking the bank. I highly recommend the Seafood and Monster platter! The shrimps are giant, must be colossal shrimp! The lamb and chicken in the Monster platter is well seasoned. Generous box of food!!! I could use more sauce for the Seafood platter, otherwise everything was amazing and I will definitely keep returning! This isn't my first visit, and definitely won't be my last!

WAIT --- I'm torn writing this review: on the plus side, I want this business to flourish and for more people to be "on it"; on the down side, that would mean this isn't just known to "a few" and I might have to wait when all the people en-masse start coming....but I must give CREDIT where CREDIT is DUE! First off, I am a first-timer: I've seen a few food-bloggers rave about this place, but it's NJ; there are SO MANY options to get platters and gyros. However, I was in the area, it was just a few minutes past 11AM, and I said LET'S GO. Employee who was at the cashier helped me in choosing the Monster Platter ($13.99), which is CRAZY: it comes with chicken, lamb, and falafel --- with rice, salad, and FRIES. If that wasn't big back enough --- I also ordered a side of samosas as they are fried to order. One of the workers, on my way out, handed me to try a free Sweet Potato Cheesecake to try; service from entering to leaving is a 10/10. Now to the food --- Monster Platter --- I mean, look at the picture. EVERY. PLATTER. IS. INSTAGRAM. WORTHY. They put effort in their food --- and the portion they give you will leave anyone satisfied. I had mine with the white & green sauce, with a bit of the blazin' sauce "dashed" on my platter. *CHEFS KISS* Samosas - Samosas were fried fresh to order, and served with a refreshing green sauce. They were fresh and flavorful. Good, nothing remarkable so 8/10. Sweet Potato Cheesecake - Slapped. Get one. The inside of the restaurant (at least at opening) was very clean and orderly. Menus were easy to understand, and organized beautifully. PUT THIS PLACE IN YOUR ROTATION!

Recently ordered another lamb platter, and tried a chopped cheese. Everything was just so heavy and we felt kind of gross after eating it. Yes, I know it's not meant to be healthy food, but it kind of had a bad aftertaste, and we were burping this up hours later. It was not pleasant. The chopped cheese had way too much sauce, and the steam must have cooked the lettuce, making it an oily, soggy mess. I guess it's back to the drawing board for a go-to gyro place.

Customer service is spectacular. I would come back just for them. All the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. The only problem is accuracy and efficiency that is lacking. They got both our drink and food order wrong. We were missing cheese on our fries and they gave a banana pudding milkshake instead of butter pecan. They rectified the issue and let us keep the errors which was extremely nice. Ambiance is bright colorful and a little overwhelming, but it's a modern chicken spot they have to attract people. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fact the main garage like door was open at night causing humidity and a lot of bugs to bother you while you wait. They have a big fan which is a little loud and powerful. My dress was fighting for its life in there. But besides that it's a nice setup and a cute eatery and place to eat. The food was good. Not a home run, but good. They have my favorite type of fries but they just weren't crispy. For context I ate it as soon as I got it. The chicken tenders were delicious and my boyfriend got wings and waffles and he said they were both good. My Cinnamon Toast Crunch lacked flavor. It just tasted like a vanilla shake besides towards the end with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch crumbles at the top. The banana pudding shake was good and tasted exactly like it. Neither of us really like the butter pecan shake. It was okay. All in all I would come back, but change some of my choices when ordering. It's a solid spot to eat. You should try it!

Part of me wants to be selfish and gatekeep this place... ha! But nah, let me put y'all on! Blazin Chicken & Gyro recently opened in Hackensack and I'm sooo happy they're in the neighborhood. If you're looking for the type of meal that is filling, tasty, and budget friendly, then this is the place to go. They're conveniently open until 3AM to satisfy your hunger. They have a parking lot but it's EXTREMELY tiny, so you're better off parking in the street nearby. Their menu offers your run-of-the-mill Halal options like platters, gyros, salads, wings, burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc. All items are very reasonably priced and trust me... you WILL get your money's worth. I've been here twice and ordered the Monster Platter ($14) and the Steak Platter ($13). Every platter is served with fluffy, aromatic rice, French fries, and a salad. You can choose up to four sauces. The portion sizes are HUGE and can easily be split into two meals. The Monster Platter was my favorite out of the two. It came with chicken, lamb, and falafel. The meat was juicy, tender, and marinated so well! The chicken had the perfect kick of spice. The falafel was fried perfectly with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Steak Platter. The steak they used is similar to the same cut for a Philly cheesesteak. It was a bit too oily for me, so I recommend a platter with chicken, lamb, or falafel. My favorite sauces are the white and green ones, but you can't go wrong with any of them. I love the green sauce because it reminds me of chimichurri. Each one offers something for everyone's taste palate, whether you want something tangy, spicy, salty, or sweet. The employees are friendly and work efficiently. Expect to wait 15 minutes (or more) for your order because they're super busy. They have a few tables to dine in, but it's more of a take-out joint. I have my eyes on trying out their seafood next --- shrimp and fish platters, I'm coming for youuuuuuuuu!

This has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a quick, good meal! They open until extremely late (3 AM)!! Service has always been efficient and there are few seats inside, but I usually get this for take-out. They have a small private parking lot but it fills up quickly. Workers are also very friendly. My favorites from this place are their platters (the shrimp platter is my usual go-to, but they're all delicious). It comes with rice, salad, fries, sauces of your choosing and they have a bunch. Their wings are delicious as well but you really cannot go wrong with anything in the menu!

    Fish platter $11.99

Just opened a few days ago. This spot was to open last year but it wasn't and now it finally is open. I have been going to the North Bergen spot and was getting the Mixed Platter, but this time around I went and got the Fish Platter. The fish platter is priced at $11.99. There is a service charge of $0.50 and the total with tax comes out to $13.31. As for the fish, it was freshly fried to order and was tasty. The order comes with rice, salad and fries. If you don't want the salad they'll give you extra rice or fries of your choosing. I went with the green and blazing sauce. It's a tough call, but I think i prefer the fish over the mixed platter. They do have parking, but depending on how busy they are, you might have to park on the side streets.

I got the chance to try this restaurant for lunch. For my order I had the chicken platter no fries. When I arrived the food was ready. The place was super new and they had a really small lot to park. The workers were nice as well! When I dug in with the white sauce and hot sauce the food was good and very filling! Had a good experience all in all!

    Monster Platter, Hummus & Pita

You can smell how good the food is while walking up to the entrance, which is always the first good sign. They have a variety of food options to choose from. I ordered the monster platter and a side of hummus and pita - it was all very good. They have different sauces you can choose from - my favorite is white, blazing, and chipotle. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They acknowledged me right away and checked in on me multiple times while I was dining in. I finished with a tres leches for dessert. Great quality food, affordable pricing, great value, looks very clean, and great staff. I only finished half my food before I was full. Will be returning (next time I'll try the steak platter!), and I like that they're open late - may come in handy for a late night snack. Would recommend!

Monster Platter with Blazin sauce and white sauce
    Asma A.

Really solid platters, great portions, great rice and fries. I really enjoyed the white and Blazin sauce on my Monster Platter, which had both chicken and lamb. I enjoyed both very much, but I preferred the chicken which was deliciously seasoned. The falafel included in the platter was not mind-blowing. The mozzarella sticks were pretty great and traveled well. I will certainly order again!

Salito fries. Heavy on the sauces and cheese (and mind you, I love cheese)

Every time someone sang its praises, I had to wonder, 'Really? The best fried chicken comes out of THAT space?' Because every time I passed by it, it looked quiet or closed or both. But don't let appearances fool you. It's very, very good. To get straight to it, the wings are the way to go here. I ordered both the wings and the boneless tenders to give this place the old college try, and while the tenders are impressive in size and heft (and I personally like them because I don't have to work around a bone), I found the wings to be far more tender and flavorful. I also found that the tenders were far quicker to lose their fried crunchification. I also tried both the soy garlic and sweet and spicy flavors, and both are incredible. If you put a gun to my head and made me choose one, I'd have to pick the soy garlic, but I love the way these sauces aren't lathered onto each piece. There's just enough brushed on so that you can appreciate both the flavor and the texture of the chicken. The fries here are the wedge type. Think KFC, but fresher and less salty. Also, don't sleep on the pickled veg. I know it sounds nuts to buy pickled veggies from a fried chicken place, but it's a staple for classic Korean fried chicken dinners to cleanse the greasy palate with something acidic. I love the medley of veg they use here, and I loved the pickling juice so much, I actually found myself sipping it between bites (don't judge me). There's a small parking lot on the side of the building that might accommodate three or four cars at most. And that might be by design, because three or four parties is probably the most that could dine in this tiny restaurant. But as many have already shared, the owners here are so sweet and friendly, it's a gift to spend any amount of time with them, even in this teacup-sized dining room. Those who choose to takeout or deliver will be pleased to know that Peck Peck Chicken knows how to to package freshly fried things correctly - that is, with intentionally aerated containers so that you won't lose all that beautiful crisp as the food makes its way home.
